| People out here feeling bad for Einar but like Arnheid has it way worse. I feel so bad for her. Her servitude includes being a mistress to the master (sex slavery; which is rape) and she has been separated from her husband and family this whole time. Her reunion with her husband is looking to be extremely tragic. I don't see how he is gonna get away with what happened without getting killed or executed. |

| holy shit one of the best episodes till now. absolute fire. it made me indescribably happy to see thorfinn laugh and eat happily like that. soo happy for him and for einar and arnheid as well. they are still trying their best to live happily even as slaves. the last part though goddamn, got goosebumps all over my body. can't wait to see how that man reacts after finding out what arnehid has been through. that reminds me they are fucking spoiling everything in the opening bruh what's wrong with MAPPA always putting spoilers in the OP? 6/5 episode. |

| This new opening is meh. Over the place musically and trying way too hard to be metal. The first one was way more catchy and its classy psychedelic visuals made it look like an OP out of a James Bond movie. Why always fix something that's not broken?? |

| Gramps asking Arnheid if she stays overnight was suspicious if not for we already know how great man he is iIdefinitely would have thought he had bad intentions but he needs to stop working on the field now atleast for his health. Thorfinn Einar and Arnheid these three make a great combo i want more of those scenes Arnheid is finally getting her time to shine but Gardar being her husband is making me think that this doesn't going to end well especially with SNAKE being there and our Einar dream is not possible now at all . Just hope nothing happens to Einar and Arnheid I don't want either of them to die. With this and Canute coming we are in for treat but i highly doubt Thorfinn would fight after all he said but it would be interesting to how this will end. I want Thorfinn and Canute to meet though it would interesting to see their interaction as now they are completely opposite to what they were So the lizard died serves them right how can he and that pig be shouting like despite knowing how strong he was to have a bounty on him |

| This was a great way to start the second cour, with the OP and ED songs being pretty stellar once again. Visuals and animation for it, as well as this episode, was also solid, too. =) While he's still pretty much useless when it comes to making food for himself, I do have to respect Snake for going out of his way to look after Sverkel after he collapsed while tending to his farm. It was also interesting to see Thorfinn eavesdropping on the pair as Snake read verses from the Bible to Sverkel as he rested in bed. The main talking point, however, was the new character that started this episode off, Gardar. He reached his breaking point in being a slave and killed off his master and setting fire to his house amongst other things before heading off. It wasn't surprising to see him ending up on Ketil's farm, where Arnheid recognised him and called out to him. He responded to her call, as he was looking for her. It was at that moment when he called her his wife, which will be a dagger to the heart for poor Einar. It'll be interesting to see what will happen next, considering how volatile Gardar is from what we've seen on him so far. |
