| Never seen the original so this is whole new story to me. This episode was stunning. I love the backdrops and scenery and am really enjoying the series. When this is done and dusted I think I will check out the original. |

| Kek @ the GIGAworm Still tho... how are there even people with building/ houses when this worm has been in the desert swallowing up everyone? the desert should be "deserted" ___ ___ ___ Also... did Wolfwood just ate that poor glowing dragonfly alive?... at least cook the thing. And... I guess part of Wolfwood's cross upgraded from a rocket to a lazer in this reboot huh... looks like they're adjusting the series' tech/ weapons to be more futuristic than before. RIP GIGAworm, it ded-ded now. Tho... I noticed the worm... doesn't actually look like a worm... it's more like a Sand-Fish... since it's body isn't really that long, but rather round-like with a long tail (similar length to that of a fish tail to body size) |

You should actually watch the original too They have VERY different art styles. A lot of ppls actually prefer the original over this remake. |

| Best episode so far, and why? Because of Nicholas Dokonokuminomonjawaresumakinishiteshizumetarokakora Wolfwood baby! Wolfwood's always been my favourite character in Trigun, and it seems like that's going to remain true in Stampede. In a lot of ways, he was a fresh of breath air for the show here. The personality of the main cast have all been toned down in the show so far it seems, with the most obvious example being Vash himself, with several noting in this thread he's a lot more shy/passive this time around, as opposed to the exuberant buffoonery the anime version of the character often could be. There was some shades of that in the very first episode, with Vash laughing maniacally while hung upside down, but it's largely been absent since then. And as such, doesn't seem Meryl has had as much opportunity to highlight her personality, but Wolfwood seemed to change that. More with Meryl than Vash, but the episode felt a lot more fun with the character dynamics than any of the previous three. I agree that it's probably a bit too fast to just reveal his alliances, but I don't mind it. The episode already was playing with the idea the Wolfwood wasn't really trustworthy, with Roberto calling him out & even Wolfwood telling it to Vash directly, and if Wolfwood's a permanent fixture in their party & this interpretation, they can play with the tension of the audience knowing he's a double agent. Right now I'm inclined to prefer how the original handled it, but Stampede could definitely make this play work. |

| Bro what the HECK were those desert wandering NPCs? I get that you don't want to model a whole model for every rando we see, but the 2D drawings need to at least gel. You can't conduct the most gorgeously nuanced illusions of life this season and then put them next to this bargain-bin no-easing ping-pong animation that might actually consist of four frames per cut. Attack on Titan did a better job integrating its 3D beasts among 2D men, yet they recieved death threats over it? We cannot let these people see this episode, for the safety of Orange. ..moving on to higher-tier characters... before the Beast recieved a name reveal, I gave them the placeholder name "Kai," because it sounded like a standard mysterious-character name. For the undertaker, I thought, 'This dude looks like a Guilty Gear fighter' (even before he reveals the cross as a giant weapon and executes a super move to rival Arc System Works' works), and, struggling to think of GG characters' names at the moment, pulled out "Ky Kiske," shortened it to "Ky," and then realized one second later I was overlapping my other idea. |

| Lol does everyone in this show have stupid ass names like "X the Y"? This was pretty cool tho. But ya I guess cross man is maybe an assassin out to kill Vash but is "gaining their trust first" as the kid said. |
| I fell like the last scene with Wolfwood and the kid talking did came to fast. We needed at least 3-4 more ep before this big information about Wolfwood revealed. Other than that after 4 ep I can say that I enjoy Roberto and a character like him was needed but I still miss Milly |
