Personally I feel they both fail at being comedies. The big thing to consider with comedy is that not everyone finds the same stuff humourous. I'm a huge fan of dry, witty sarcasm. It makes me laugh a lot. I also, on the completely opposite side of the spectrum, find overblown and intentionally unrealistically stupid characters absolutely hilarious. KanoKano appealed to me because everyone is inept in their own unique way, and it's funny to see how all the characters will mess up even seemingly the safest scenarios. |

Not sure what you mean, Nagi told his parents at the beginning of the episode that he won't get married to Erika. Also, Erika shouldn't be blamed for being nervous, I mean imagine if you're 16 and you are told that your "parents" aren't your parents, breaking the ice won't be easy for most people. |

| Damn imagine rich dog got the same house as yours. I feel you, Nagi. But honestly, with that much amount i think its understandable for the dogs to had their own mansion! Anyway, looks like Erika its not what you think. Nagi overthinking about them getting a gang fight kind of amusing. His reaction still priceless and creepy at some moment. But at the same time, even if i feel like Akari as Erika va kinda not fitted much for me, considering i am still not getting used of her filling the harem show cast list. Still, Erika this episode kinda grew on me. She's so sweet when she really wanna get closer with her real parents, yet kind of forgetting the whole engagement with poor Nagi xd. Though i feel like i need to know more about that chick, Sachi. Guess its not the right time to get along more with her, its seems. She's still hiding inside! Alright. Based Erika, or Nagi father plan with the whole kmk setup, living together in the same roof within two weeks, sounds about right. Right? |

| Ep 1 was great but this episode lacks finesse. I didn't get surprised from the "poor vs rich house common sense joke" because I've seen many similar stories like that, the emphasis was rather average at most but it was kinda enjoyable, especially the main heroine crying on the bridge. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Lmao the contrast between poor vs rich is comedy gold and yeah I may potentially drop this because the cringefest is about to start next episode but anime and manga are both separable mediums so let's just wait and see, only time can tell. |

| I definitely enjoyed the reactions to each other’s homes, I guess Erika is the pinnacle of rich people being clueless when it comes to how normal people live, it was funny tho, and of course Nagi was surprised to see Erika’s place and the fact she has a doghouse that’s an actual house lol. The best part of the episode was when Erika met Nagi’s parents at the restaurant, I honestly thought the scene Nagi thought up in his head was real but I’m glad it didn’t go that way lol, I’m glad Erika wants to get close to Nagi’s parents, they’re pretty wholesome parents as well, I love the “former delinquent” dynamic they have and it works well for parent characters. Lastly Erika’s dad buys her and Nagi a house to live in for two weeks, this is taking me back to Girlfriend Girlfriend lol, I can’t wait to see what happens from here. And I like the tidbits of Sachi we got as well, I’m wondering when she’ll truly enter the harem that’s budding lol. | Erika is just a sweetheart. While others have the trait of of being bitchy living a prosperous life, she's a meek one. That's the kind of character that we must protecc. Enjoyed the bonding of this ep. Shows how 2 different people living in opposite worlds getting to know each other's life. |

| So far so good. Emphasizing the comedy vibe more than the romance aspect of it is really helping it a lot. But since it has 24 episodes, I'd still watch with caution and prepare for a heart-breaking disappointment in case it ends up having a very generic rom-com/harem execution later on. |

NNNNNN MMM UNNNN GAH GEH GHHHH and BWAH ? overreacting at every little thing is already a big nope in my books & its probably the worst "trait" a character can have. i can't put up with that for 20 more weeks. inb4 someone looks through my list and tells me that i do indeed like an anime that has a screaming overreacting character |
