| Don't look now, the Akito development arc is definitely starting. Her mother is getting more and more screen time, and even though it was fleeting, you could see in her face after Haru walked away that something clicked inside of her, there was a bit of self-awareness that woke up there for a moment. I think something people lose sight of us is that Akito is just as wound up in the damage the zodiac curse wreaks on everyone as the "animals" are. She's also been damaged and fucked up by the infrastructure of the Soma clan, to the point where the worst aspects of her behavior have been constantly enabled by the entire family. Decades of being told you're an infallible God and constantly having that reinforced will inevitably mess you up. She's a victim of horrible parenting just like the rest of them. |
| 11/10 episode i love this show so much I cried at the kisa & hiro scene ngl i love hatsuharu so much he was MAD like we've never seen him before about time someone snapped on akito will probably cause alot of development |

| It’s obvious how to break any curse, true love kiss of course *kidding* I loved this episode so full of feels I cried with Hiro and Kisa and feel so proud of Hiro character development he matured in very short time and I’m also happy for Haru and Isuzu reunion. But, with curse or with no curse, I blame Kureno, Shigure, Ren, the head maid, all of them are responsible for Akito’s twisted behavior. It’s sad for the characters but I’m glad Akito isn’t simply evil and cant wait to see more about her backstory. |

| Damn man, this was one of the heaviest episodes I have seen in a while. Fuck Akito and her bitch ass mother. Two garbage human beings. My Girl Rin deserves better and she fucking got him in Haru. I thought Haru was going to knock Rin's block off but I think he got his point across. |

| Cutting Rin's hair like that is a crime! ;-; Akito went too far in her actions, not that it's surprising -_-; Rin doesn't deserve to be treated so badly... Akito sure loves to go to the extreme, doesn't she? How I wanted to see Haru punch Akito in the face so badly... it's a shame that didn't happen >_> Kyo and Tohru didn't have screentime this time, and that's ok. Hopping to see those two soon :) Great episode as always, full of emotions :D |

| Finally Rin's long journey of being used and discarded whenever comes to an end with returning to Haru's arms. Rin and Haru have been my favorite couple since the beginning. They were a pairing of the start. So its good to see they have come to a closure with their feelings and will live for each other now. |

| The amount of tears this episode showcased was insane. Also there goes the last 0,01% of pity I had for Akito. Quite interesting antagonist, all things considered but that bitch can burn in hell alongside her mother for all I care. Another great episode. Truth be told, filled to the brim with angst and despair but featuring a pretty sweet ending to conclude Rin's "solo journey" in the brightest note possible. She has stopped seeing herself as a burden and now fully accepted the idea of letting Haru support her whenever she needs. Also, Haru's intense love for Rin managed to tore his curse's bond if even by a little, huh? Interesting. And finally on a side note, I'm also quite happy with the character development Hiro has received this episode. And the catalyst for said development is his profound desire to become a good onii-chan for his baby sis. D'aww~ |

| Hiro and Kisa are looking a lot older in this episode. It was really nice seeing Hiro apologise. Hopefully he can let the guilt go a little. I never cared for Rin but the final scene was really nice. |

| Was hoping Haru would slug Akito but of course I knew that wasn’t gonna happen lol, and gotta love Kureno being a legend once again, can safely say he’s one of my favorite characters. Loved the bit at the end between Haru and Rin, super sweet stuff. We were the preschoolers watching it lol. |

| I cried when I read it and made my eyes water again when Haru tells Rin he already grown a bit to be able to carry her when she can't walk but are not a burden ಥ◡ಥ Akito is a terrifyingly great character to me. I do not accept her behavior nor is it possible to justify being abusive. I just find it really amazing how his backstory is narrated, how he was raised (and convinced) the zodiac lives and dies for her, and how it becomes so painful that everything should be their destiny is finally starting to break. Ugh the little box did wreak troubles (TᐞT) and will continue to bring them |

| Akito is a horrible person, no matter what was done to her. But the people surrounding her like old Ba-san are even worse by enabling her and allowing to get away with the things she's done. And please don't tell me its understandable considering her upbringing. Lots of people and characters come from abusive homes and they don't turn into little monsters. Pushing someone of a balcony is attempted homicide where I come from. So glad Haru and Rin seemed to walk away from what is objectively the most toxic family in anime. What is is that happens again if you quit the family for good? Can someone remind me? What is the curse? Do you turn forever into your zodiac animal if you don't pray to Akito or something? |

| I read that some people are saying they feel sorry for Akito and she doesn't desire this which blows my mind she deserves everything she gets she pushed Rin out a window. I don't care what she went through there is no excuse for the all of her actions. The worst part about this episode is that Haru didn't punch Akito. |

| Finally, someone well and truly calls Akito out on her abusive bullshit, on her constant deflection of blame onto others and constant abdication of responsibility for her psychotic, evil actions. She deserved to have Haru's fist plow through her face multiple times for all the monstrous shit she's done, but I'll take that long-overdue telling off for the time being. That aside, that whole sequence gave us another hint of how the zodiac curse can be broken, and it seems to be that they have to break free of it of their own free will; Haru choosing to walk away in the end despite Akito's protests and begging seems to have been the catalyst to begin breaking his bond. And the emotional payoff for both Haru and Rin as they both take a step away from Akito's abusive oppression is utterly fantastic and one of FruBa's best moments so far. I feel like a broken record when I keep reiterating this, but I don't care what sort of upbringing Akito had or how terrible Ren is as both a person and a mother, none of her actions are justified and I will never, ever feel sorry for her. Frankly, I'd consider her one of the most villainous, detestable characters I've ever encountered in fiction, and no amount of "tragic backstory" will change that; in fact, the glimpses into how even the servants in the Soma household enable her behaviour only hardens my stance on that. Fuck you Akito. You deserve every piece of retribution, every "betrayal" coming your way. |
