| Hehe, I didn't realize these were going to be short episodes. But I'm not disappointed, I think I like this format. I noticed that this show sounds particularly great. The soundtrack, the sound design and the theme songs are all on point. The characters and the setup seem pretty good so far, too. I think I'm going to like this :) |

| After rewatching with subs the Yuri vibes are stronger then I first thought Mika are such a good lesbian and my little sweetheart. Climbing all over Himeno and saying she loves her and wants to be with her,,,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! Awwwwww my precious lesbian princes are in love, She is so cute ❤❤ Also love the animation. Warm colors that looks delicious I really enjoyed this episode. IMO this is right now the best anime this season  |

| I liked this, I picked it up because it sounded fun and cute and it delivered lol. The OP tho, blew me away, reminds me of folk rock, and that’s really good. The live action part was alright, I like that the VAs call everything cute lol |

| sort of a grim first episode. It seems Himeno's mom died from too much work on making mugs? Maybe she was too obsessed in it, and the dad did not notice her health going bad. Setting aside the sad past. It's a nice start to the school.year, and those mugs are so colorful. :> |

| cgdct always attracted me, no matter how similar their concept of the story is. Last year i got the fishing club girl, now its a pottery club with such an interesting bunch of girls. Even though the backstory of the mc look positively different, they had the same vibes around them, and already met a new interest at their first step. The yellow haired genki girl already stole my heart in these premiere. Oh wow, its fast. In short, i love this one. Even though i am still sad, these show only got half of the normal duration. But, well, its still ends well to me! Can't wait to see their next activity. |

That is really a strong start. I have watched a lot of CGDCT and knows very well how It usually plays out on the Yuri. I am not saying it's going to be a full-blown lesbian romance. But I think I'm going to get a lot of sweet Yuri from this. And I am so happy about that =) |

| From my prespective, there is nothing really special about the anime at least for the first episode, same consumed story with no creative characters design, the animation is not bad. But this is just the first impression, we'll see in the upcoming episodes if there's something really special about this anime. Peace and love.  |

| Wow! A 15-minute episode usually fails to fully convey its goals, but Mug Cup has managed to make a great debut. The protagonist really is very charismatic and is an anime that may have some dramas involving her mother and her experiences with ceramics. A very moderate start, but an undoubted potential. |

| I always look for an anime with is based on prefectural speciality and Japanese Culture. There are 47 prefectures in Japan and each small cities within those prefectures has unique quirk. One those more known quirk is pottery. I have seen many YT videos about pottery culture in japan country side. People there give lot of importance and passion to it. It's fascinating. Even though tradition is slowly fading away with time. I'm very happy to come across this anime. |
| not something id usually Want to watch but its an ongoing show rn so i think itll be nice to see it every week animation is decent, so are the characters. but it fits since we dont really need any complexity here, its literally just cute girls doing pottery. |

But yep, the original idea for CGDCT was the idea of a "harem of audience", which was mocking back in Azumanga. In Japan itself, such shows are called "Girl's Zoo" and Yuru Camp, which focuses on the comfy experience of camping or Byori, whose female characters are too small and innocent to be fetishized, are far from it. Classic CGDCT is a show like K-ON! or GochiUsa, where the yonkoma format is combined with ship and waifu baiting. P.S. Only the siths create false dilemmas like "either full fanservice or no fanservice." finally someone who understands! I'll add to that one more thing, not all cgdct anime are iyashikei, and not all iyashikei are cgdct. and of course, yuri isn't shoujo ai, and mecha musume anime isn't magical girl only cause they do henshin when they switch to their power armor. |
| Read the synopsis, maybe it has attracted my curiosity more, and seen the promos, I started this anime almost as a bet. As a beginning it is quite nice and funny, the chara doesn't appeal to me very much, but the characters don't seem boring, and I liked the humor put in place during the narration very much; then I like the field of ceramics. |
