Loved it! Sonezaki's transformation was amazing, but then they teased her and Amagi, and her reaction seemed to have hurt him so I was worried he was just going to distance himself from her, but he was brave and confessed his feelings to her. Even when she asked for a 50 page report, and that was so sweet. Sonezaki was so used to be shunned for the way she looked, that Amagi's words were like a soft "kawaii rain", and I would melt too. I hope she is strong enough to answer him without freaking out or causing a misunderstanding, because she clearly likes him too, and I loved the way she reacted to pretty much every phrase he wrote while reading. xD Momoko met an old classmate who couldn't forget her, and that was kind of sweet too, but she doesn't seem to like him back. She blushed way more with Sugawara, but then again that might not mean anything either, time will tell how she feels. Kazusa was down because Izumi doesn't think about doing it with her, and now she saw him smiling with Suguwara, and her feelings are bound to get even more complicated. I love Sugawara though, that annoying girl offered to pay for a new notebook after stepping on purpose on hers only because Izumi was watching, and thought that Sugawara would reject it, but she got even more than what she needed. xD This might teach that girl a lesson, if it were Kazusa I would be worried, but I doubt those girls have what it takes to bully Sugawara. She seems to know how to deal with that kind of people. Oh, and Hitoha finally felt the "real thing", and caught the poor teacher off guard. I gotta admit she was bold with the "teach me reality", but it feels so wrong, and being the shortest of the main girls doesn't help either. lol Milo-sensei seems to be definitely in trouble since she really has her eyes on him. I don't blame her though. And I loved what Sugawara said about "borrowing feelings" from fiction, and then what Sonezaki said about understanding what you feel better after reading about it. Fiction is that amazing, and I love that this side of the story isn't being neglected, their books are a part of them. |

It looks like each member of the club has its own route, which give me a little aura of tsurezure children... extra sex edition. Poor Kazusa it's the second time she must saw that kind of sight, just... go faster girl, you will always lost with that pace. Honestly I start watching this because some of funny clip around the internet, but then I also interesting with the drama. I want to know where this will going. |

Interesting, Sonozaki changed her look. The art for this show is so pretty, I'm loving it. |

Still ain’t sure tho Haven't read the manga, but I feel like they did everything in their power to say "she's a lesbian" without saying "she's a lesbian." I could be wrong, but I'd be surprised if she turned out to be straight. It seemed like they were setting up the whole "I don't like guys but I'm gonna try to like guys" thing. Don't worry, man. This question will be fully disclosed near the end of the original manga. Short_Circut said: Xenocrisi said: Sooo Momoko is lesbian right? I mean, it was quite noticeable from this episode. Some of her lines ... I would say that some of her lines are subtle as anvil fall. |

caio_brb said: This isn't a shoujo. lol It's a shounen, literally published on Bessatsu Shounen Magazine. Every demography have romance. There is something ironic in the fact that people see female protagonists in every second male-focused anime, but they still think that a deep show with a female MC should be shoujo. |

I'm liking Sonezaki's story more at the moment. Hongou's story is quite interesting too. |

How in the world did I forget to watch this on friday.... Sonezaki's new look is really cute, suits her well. Her over the top reactions are still brilliant. 50 pages of writing why/where/how you have fallen in love with said girl. Just too funny. Credit for the guy for still giving her something eventho the challenge was big. Yeah, I also believe Momoko is lesbian, signs are there but I guess I'll wait till it gets confirmed. Hongou sure had an interesting experience this episode.. It was throbbing after all. When she said to the sensei that she now knows what it's like to be sexually aroused, gave him a big surprise! Poor Kazusa though :( I wonder if Sugawara is gonna be in the way of what Kazusa wants. |

Yea I feel the same way, was kinda gutted whenever their relationship was shown because there never really felt like there was any feelings behind it, just her being dragged around. I'd honestly be fine if Okada did do some sort of idiotic way to bring them back together, like she did with Jun in Anthem of the Heart (except I didn't really like that one), but knowing her previous works it's probably gonna have some lame open-ended conclusion. Don't like Momoko x Niina as well, especially after the actions the former did in the latest chapter she's probably my least favorite out of all the girls (with Sonezaki being the most fav xd) I'd laugh if Niina straight up gets rejected and decides "welp I guess I'm lesbian now." But again knowing Okada's works, it's probably gonna be an open end on that front |

Of course, bisexuals exist, but such a twist implies that girls become lesbians because they have not found the right guy, or that sexuality is something that you can change depending on the situation. Intentionally or not. I myself love to joke excessively about the plots destroyed by Okada, but I hope that this time I will not have a reason to break the keyboard and shout "Okada!" like Captain Kirk, lol. |

But we are talking about a person, two-thirds of whose works literally say "your first romantic experience will most likely suck, so accept it" so I'm afraid to relax, lol. By the way, it only seems to me that half the cast of this show is a copy of her Hisone to Masotan? |

Just seemed to me like he mainly wanted to date her just to flex lol (like with the festival shit) I feel sorry for him, because I am extremely uncomfortable to observe relationships that are doomed to failure in advance. Well, only if Okada-sensei doesn't want to bring them together with the help of that idiotic tropes, you know. For the same reason, I don't like Momoko x Niina, by the way. However, I even came up with the theory that "that gal" would turn out to be a lesbian and in the future will get along with Momoko, since Sonezaki and Niina are completely straight. Well, the last one at the moment, at least. Don't like Momoko x Niina as well, especially after the actions the former did in the latest chapter she's probably my least favorite out of all the girls (with Sonezaki being the most fav xd) I'd laugh if Niina straight up gets rejected and decides "welp I guess I'm lesbian now." But again knowing Okada's works, it's probably gonna be an open end on that front You really get it! I've pretty much given up on Okada romances lel. Her and Makoto Shinkai both tend to really follow their trends with their romances (in a bad way) and I have a sad feeling this show will follow suite At the moment it seems that the manga successfully ignores her most beloved trope - an "ordinary girl loses to a poorly written beauty". But we are talking about a person, two-thirds of whose works literally say "your first romantic experience will most likely suck, so accept it" so I'm afraid to relax, lol. By the way, it only seems to me that half the cast of this show is a copy of her Hisone to Masotan? Well lest not forget we still have that love triangle in the mix, so there's still time for Okada to do what she does best :P Haven't seen that show so can't say lul |

Oh, boy. Are we really getting a teacher-student relationship here? Mari Okada doesn't give a shit about taboos. Respect, I guess. Sensei sounded like a psycho, at first, with the way he was talking about high school girls. O_O Momoko is adorable and it seems like she may be realizing she has feelings for girls? I don't know. I could be interpreting things? At any rate, the conversation she had with that guy was quite wholesome, including his reasons for liking her. That ending. Ugh. Drama incoming... |

On the one hand, I can say “yeah, you are really into it!”, but on the other hand, I even feel a little sorry for this guy. In any case, the awareness of the true development of her route has already allowed me to come up with several ships and interesting options for further development. Feeling bad for said guy? Idk, their relationship never really felt like it was gonna go anywhere since the beginning, especially with how assertive/pushy he was being with all the texts and the fact that she seemed totally uninterested. Well lest not forget we still have that love triangle in the mix, so there's still time for Okada to do what she does best :P Haven't seen that show so can't say lul Oh yes, I remember well how she completed True Tears. I understand that this was meant as a kind of message “romantic feelings cannot be controlled", but my ass still burns. Well, at least Kazusa has no incestuous older brother on a motorcycle, lol. The worst one for me was Anthem of the Heart, that was just such a complete buzzkill ending that correlates with what you said about "ordinary girl loses to a poorly written beauty," doesn't even matter if it's considered a unique ending or whatnot. I can't wait for her to make another asspull in this show and make some plot twist like Momoka is actually asexual or something lmao Well, in my opinion the most explosive would be the option where it turns out that Momoko's crush "was just a phase" and eventually she will find out that she just likes feminine boys, lol. Looooooool yuri fandom would explode at that then. She might as well go full Kuzu no Honkai and reveal that Niina was just horny regardless of whatever gender Okada + cynical ecchi ... It's like giving someone a gun and a bag of acid in HitoriBocchi. Can't wait for the ecchi OVA special where Okada cucks Kazusa and gives Izumi x Niina fanservice the whole time :P |

Absolute gem of an anime, looks like it’s starting to gain some traction the ratings are up. I love the character interactions in this, every episode is very novel and surprisingly funny. Each of them is maturing in their own way ... interested to see how it unfolds, especially for Izumi/Kazusa and Hongo/ Yamegishi pairings Hongo is my favourite so far, I like how forward she is |

I love the first 3 episodes so I read the manga and I love Sonezaki love story, it's too cute, innocent and sweet! (I hope mangaka won't destroy it) To Kazusa, it's good too but I read spoilers from recent chapter of the manga and makes me want to drop this.. I love it at first, but knowing something makes me sad :( Hongou seems have similarity with Tomoko of Watamote in terms of appearance haha I still hope for the better but I stop being excited for this. |

papsoshea said: The girls were really annoying in this episode. Kazusa is the worst and literally couldn't give a damn about her, she acts as if she's the only one in the world with feelings and has made Izumi feel like shit this whole time. If Sugawara ends up fucking Izumi then ain't she a shit friend? The Milo subplot is just nasty. It would be one thing if he’d shown any inclination towards improper behavior with Hongou, but he hasn’t. This is all a big game to her, but if he’s caught in a situation she manufactures, his life is effectively over. First, she blackmails him into being the club advisor, then she literally jumps on his lap and sets himself up to be fired and shamed for life if anyone walks in. Then we have Rika who is just a total bitch lol is her segment supposed to be some genuine, sweet, and positive moment in the show? Amagiri is apologizing for being the most decent person in the class who had the temerity to stick up for Rika when she was dealing with the usual bullying and abuse. The whole “write a 50-page report" bullshit fails at being close to anything romantic or funny, more so, it makes Rika look like a jerk. Is Momoko the only saving grace? All of this hormonally-charged misunderstanding dramedy is starting to test my patience. The subplots developing here are just shit right now and the main girls are really becoming unlikable for me. heyy!!! the 50 pages report is the sweetest thing I read in manga! you're too critical on it.. it's nice, Momoko love story is not nice if you will ask.. only Sonezaki story have sweet romance and I hope mangaka won't ruin it. |

Ah this show.. Hitoha being all bold again and Kazusa overthinking. The guy confessing through the report is super sweet and Sonezaki needs someone like him! |

God dammit! this episode was amazing! The parts with Hitoha and Sensei were awesome, the 50 page letter Amagi wrote for Sonezaki was cute AF, more struggling Kazusa with her feelings for Izumi everything was great....Until the end...when we see Sugawara and Izumi on the train....and im sitting here...saying to myself...oh god...the drama...with this as my reaction God Dammit I hate love triangles. But with Momoko hinting at being a lesbian this might be a love square. |

Sonozaki 2.0 looked great! So far it seems the most wholesome arc is Sonozaki's, no perverted antics happening between her yet unlike Kazusa seeing Izumi masturbating and loli writer asking teacher to teach her the real thing lol. Also, knew it, Momoko's a lesbo. So we probably getting a love square? Im cheering for a route where Nina wins! Kazusa's a damn meme, that scream in the ED was gold. |

I loved this episode. First we saw the new look of Sonezaki (It's beautiful) and Amagi's declaration of love (That boy has all my respect. His feelings for Sonezaki are sincere), I like that couple. Then, the reason why the teacher has nickname "Milo" (I can't believe I was right about that 😂, LOL). After Sudo's meeting with his elementary classmate, Sugimoto (He seems like a good boy. He's still in love with her after so many years). And finally, the final scene of the episode, that will cause misunderstandings 😅. Ray! This anime makes me feel like a child in love. And to think that, I had my doubts when I saw the first episode of yes follow this anime or not, but now I see that I made the right decision. I like it a lot 😁. After this episode I see what the main theme of this anime is: the answer to the question "Sexual Desire or Love?", And if you combine it with literature, even better 👌. "The books are not an escape, they are there to name those cloudy feelings that I cannot understand." I liked that phrase from Kazusa. |

All the girls seemed to have found a love interest, only one I'm really not rooting for is the one between Hitoha and the teacher lol |

Four-eyes really went all out blunt with "highschool girls." The guy was right, she is nice looking after a little change. Everyone's relationships seem to be somewhat progressing. |

I loved this episode, Rika was cute as she was (in my opinion), but now she left me surprised, she can be beautiful if she proposes it and the rest of her class was surprised, especially Amagi, the one responsible for Rika for making this makeover. Rika is still very insecure about her feelings and also has a hard time believing that Amagi really loves her, so she demands a 50-page report about why he loves her, it's really a challenge to get to Rika's heart. Kazusa is still sad about what Izumi said and Momo is worried that she cannot support her friend, since she has never felt love for a boy, but Niina tries to cheer her up and make her understand that she can help Kazusa, Niina also seems to have done something inside Momo (I feel the yuri bloom there, I feel it, I will have to read the manga to know if this is heading for a yuri route). The conversation between Milo sensei and Hitoha was intense, Hitoha tries to have the superiority, but the harsh words of the sensei hurt Hitoha and she rides on top of him and apparently something happened there that made Hitaha run away blushing. Kazusa is still frustrated about Izumi and I don't blame her, but it seems that the words Rika said made her understand how she should handle this situation. Momo seems to have a boy interested in her, Sugimoto looks like a good boy and apparently he met Momo a long time ago, but I think this boy has a long way to get to Momo's heart. Amagi fulfilled his task, he really wrote the report of why he fell in love with Rika, at first he seemed to wander in his report, but every time he added that Rika seemed cute to him and this gradually began to soften Rika's heart to the point of making her cry with happiness upon receiving so many beautiful words from Amagi. Asada continues with her attitude of bitch in heat towards Izumi and now her target for bullying is Niina, but Izumi appears and Niina attacks with her particular personality cornering the bitch to continue with her attitude as a good girl, at least Niina won 450 yen, but now Izumi wants to talk to Niina and I know this will lend itself to a huge and sad misunderstanding. Hitoha and Milo sensei make me laugh a lot, I think this relationship can develop into something interesting, but that will depend on whether Hitoha stops being so unpredictable. I knew this would happen, Kazusa saw Izumi chatting with Niina on the train, I don't want this to happen, that desperate scream of Kazusa when she saw such a shocking scene, please let this misunderstanding be solved by Niina, if Izumi says something this will get worse. What a beautiful episode, I feel very happy for Rika, she is finally finding happiness and someone loves her and not because of her makeover, but because of who she is. Momo starts exploring the boys' terrain and I hope something happens. |

I am really enjoying the meta in this, about borrowing feelings from fiction and stuff, it's a really nice touch, and it's great that these ideas are being spoken more. Fiction is rarely given enough credit for it's worth and it's ability to transmit feelings and ideas, and be used as a teaching tool as well. |

Sonezaki went from being simply likable to best girl for me in this episode. Not only because of her appearance shift, but also her hilarious personality when faced with a confession. Poor Hongou. He was using Yamagishi at first, but seems like he has the upper-hand now. Would be sad to see her not ending up with him, which is a high possibility given that he doesn't think much of high school gals. That train scene at the end, though. Funny stuff! Sensing an imminent love triangle, so I'm hoping it's done well without too much senseless drama. |

This episode was a rollercoaster of disasters, the build-up to the next one is scary, I know I should have more faith, they are probably going for the cliché misunderstood setup, but at the same time, they are just a bunch of growing teenagers that can far for anything. Take notes girls, find you a boy who can write you a 50 pages report rather than one who can light a cigarette and look cool whilst doing so. |
