| Poor Megumi lost. It was completely expected but still sad to see. RIP turtle. Hisako was ruthless. Loved how Yoshino didn't mind seeing it lol Love Hayama in this episode. That final line was too badass! Mimasaki is one of the most extreme stalkers I have ever seen. That face at the end is going to give me nightmares. Hope Takumi beats him but he gave himself a lot of death flags in this episode. Funniest part of the episode for me  |

| It's too bad that Megumi lost, but it was to be expected, as Kurokiba was the better chef. And if Megumi had won, it would have been because she's a main character, aka anime logic. It's good that Shokugeki actually holds true to its power hierarchy unlike some other shounen. As for the main match this episode, I have to say that regardless of how good it looked or how yummy it tasted, I would rather not eat turtle meat. On the other hand, Hayama's burger looked really tasty. No wonder he won! The new guy was being so mean when he started badmouthing Isami and spitting on Takumi's tools. Takumi better win against him next week! |

| Why a turtle burger? I know turtles are a popular food source in Asia, but the butchering and everything made it hard to watch. Glad Akira won by a landslide, even though it seemed too unbalanced and needed some veg, the anchaar looked yum. That f**ker being mean to Takumi, he better get his ass kicked. I hat weak shounen protagonist who bully their competition, they don't trust their own strength so rely on weakening the opponent. |

| Welp, as I said last week, they should have just announced the result for Megumi's match at the end, instead of trying to force a cliffhanger. Was still funny how the Chairman's fundoushi fell off in the washroom though. That was a good indication of whats to come for Megumi's future progress. Hayama was always going to win against Hisako. Their convictions were just too different. One hoping to play second fiddle to Erina would never reach the heights of one aiming to best her own master. What is it with this season having so many Subaru's with such disgusting attitudes, eh? :P |

D= It was fitting that Ryo won his match, as his dish had a bigger impact with the judges, but seeing the crowd showing their support and appreciation to Megumi is very nice to see. =) Speaking of impact, Akira's dish had Hisako's dish licked in that section. Although the way Hisako made her burger, despite the butchering of the turtle, was impressive, but the attention to detail with Akira's knowledge and his mastery of spices would always outshine Hisako's dish. Subaru, despite his OTT lock-up of his Motorbike, has some serious stalking skills, which makes him a proper creep. His insult about Isami is pretty low though. Looking forward to seeing Takumi Vs Subaru Shokugeki fight animated. =) |

| This week episode is really interesting! but also creepy ahahah, its all thanks to Subaru Mimasaka, but seriously tho, when he sprout something about Takumi undies it freaks me out pfft. Next week, it'll be a Shokugeki between both of them, I expected much! |

| Pretty good episode, sadly Megumi lost against Ryo, while Hisako lost against Hayama. Well Megumi vs. Ryo is a close battle, even Erina's grandfather admitted that Megumi has a dormant talent or something. But for Hisako and Hayama, looks like a one sided battle, Hayama's motivation to win is to become no.1 which is higher than Hisako, who's motivation beong no.2 cause her no.1 was Erina. Hayama's burger is much better than Hisako, his pickles alternative is much better according to him than Hisako. Well also Subaru, new dude here, said that hayama will win definitely. Subaru's talent is pretty useful, knowing all the detail of his opponent, his small talk with Souma then overly secured his bike was fun. Cliffhanger seems interesting. insteinsteadd of Takumi vs Subaru autumn selection battle for the next round, its a shokugeki. Takumi's triggered to Subaru's provoked, insulting his brother. What's interesting is what's their bet on this shokugeki. Looking forward for the next episode |

| Kinda dissapointing they left the cliffhanger of the previous episode just for they to reveal the result that fast. Oh, well, at least Megumi has been recognized for her efforts. I liked she lost to Kurokiba, if she would have won, things would have been too predictable. About the main match of the episode, glad Hayama defeated that Hisako secondary doormat, I never liked her. The scene of the turtle looked gruesome, glad they censored it (you will be remembered, turtle-kun ;_;). I gotta admit the turtle burguer looked delicious, but that kebab burguer was too match for Erina's bitch. In an unrelated note, an as expected, Suwabe's voice acting was top tier. About that Subaru guy, even that I like his antagonistic character, his introduction felt too sudden, like if they introduced him now for the sake of having a bad guy in the tournament. They should have put at least a glipmse of him in the first season to avoid this issue. Next episode, Takumi vs Subaru in a Food Fight. It will be weird if Takumi loses the battle, but would be even weirder introduce Subaru at this point if he will be defeated that early after his debut. Something wouldn't go well in that match... |

| I felt really bad for the poor turtle. He died for nothing. The result was kinda predictable, but it was okay. The pace is getting better but we're still not at first season goodness level. They barely showed Akira cooking too... |

Akira fought against Hisako and won... I know that Takumi got through, but that leaves one other person in the prelims who got through that I can't remember. Who was Takumi supposed to fight against? Because I certainly don't remember this new big guy from the prelims... |

| That beginning felt rushed, way too rushed, at least too me. But on the other hand, they aren't wasting any time at all getting us into the action. Considering the build up to the next match, I assume that's why this episode felt so rushed, so the pacing will hopefully be better on the next episode, which I look forward too. Mimasaka Subaru finally makes his appearance, and hes much nicer than I imagined despite being a total creep and a stalker with way too much information. |

| I don't get it, did grandpapa's loin cloth remove itself or something because Tadokoro's dish was unexpectedly refreshing and delicious during the match itself or did it happen after he announce Ryo as the winner? Hisako went to town on that turtle, I felt sorry for it even though it's animated and not real. I feel more sympathy for animals than capable humans (except for babies/kids, elderly, disabled, homeless, etc. people). Which probably makes me a shitty person and I don't give a fuck. Subaru Mimasaka's data gathering is admirable to an extent. I wouldn't want to know what color or fabric undies my potential opponent may be wearing but whatever floats his boat. Of course, Akira was going to win. For me, he's even better than Souma. He's the best cook in my book. He also looks like a foreigner and acts like a foreigner, which I like. I love the contrast of his silver hair and tanned skin. |

During the match itself. His reaction to Kurokiba's is to get bare-chested while for Megumi it was to (unconsciously) remove his loin cloth. It's stated in the manga that it means that even though Megumi's a good cook as of right now, she still has a lot of hidden potential that can rival the prodigies. |
