| The girls passed and Uchiki sensei has joined their school! "Everyday katsu sandwich." lol. I thought we will get to see Uchiki once again but I guess they ran out of time. This anime was really good. I loved the combination of cooking and SOL. It had its refreshing moments and really, it wasn't boring at all. Very relaxing. 8.5/10, would love to watch a 2nd season. |

| Nice conclusion of the series. Liked how the ED was a compilation of all the foodgasm scenes. Though, no taberu at the end... Overall it was a cute series without much drama. Sometimes it felt a bit too calm, but it still was enjoyable. Good art and sound were helping too. Shiina best girl. And I'm sure this has been said before, I don't know, but the spoons in the opening always looked too me as if they had balls... |

| Absolutely adorable show, with adorable characters and episodes that made me SUPER hungry. I might try my hand at cooking... Im sad we didn't see neighbor girl at the end though. AND NO CUTE CHIBI ENDING! THAT WAS THE BEST PART OF THIS SHOW! 8/10 I very much enjoyed it. |

| I imagined a final a little different, but even so it was enjoyable as the end. Narrative does not differ too much from previous episodes showing a tale similar in structure. Eventually this TV series belonging to the genus SOL, has as substantially different from those seen in prior component culinary, even if I imagined a little more different. Overall not a bad story, but you could do a lot more in this anime, I wonder if there will be a second season, could be an opportunity to improve the product. One thing that could have been handled well the drawings are not to satisfactory levels. Not bad the major and minor characters, good soundtrack. For now my rating is 6.5 / 10! |

| Kind of a slow episode, but it was remarkably touching, and brought back memories of my own graduation. Plus the ending with Ryou realizing the importance of people to eat with and to make memories with was well made and shown. This series was okay, I was looking forward to it, I should have known what to expect. It's a nice slice of life show, with interesting characters, good looking food, and great art. But that's about it, its unfortunately pretty forgettable. Ryou was probably one of the best girls of the season though! I give it a 7/10 |

| Why do final episodes always have to be so tryhard with these kind of shows? Although pretty interesting to watch in a way it is sort of plain at the same time. Shaft made this show, black magic! Average, so 5/10 I guess. |

| This was an average anime. I like it, has a good animation but it was too slow for me. All the series I thought that Ryou was a high school girl but when she prayaed in front of ther grandma photo she said: I graduated of Middle school. In average I put a 7/10. When I haven't eat enything I got hungry watching this anime. When I saw the anime later after I eat something I dint want to see tyhe 3 girls eating. |

| Simple yet enjoyable show. Ryou is waifu material. Its nice and relaxing and makes me hungry at the same time. I lol at Ryou's crying stomach and her classmates pretended they didn't hear that. I like this show. Sad that its over 7/10 |
| As the girls graduate Middle School Kirin moves in with Ryou at last in our heartwarming finale. This was such a feel good show, I loved it so much. Only Shirobako can rival it for best show of the season for me. I'd really love a second helping...sorry, couldn't resist! :D 9/10 |

| Great show! It's a shame it took me this time just to finish it. Been delayed due to College, Homework etc. They're finally graduating from middle school!! Omedetou! Ryou, Kirin! Hehe her stomach was so loud from the auditorium XD I kinda feel sad about Ryou being left alone after her grandmother passed away. But at least she begins to appreciate all these people who came in and helped her when she's alone. I want to taste Ryou's cooking! Everyday Katsu! I notice how Ryou was kinda bummed how everyone knew about Kirin moving in. I guess in Japan you need to tell someone your plan beforehand so they can prepare ahead of time. Finally they showed Kirin's parents!! Her mother is a beauty! Kinda like hair, but same hair color as Akira. They showed Shaft Stills with Ryou, Kirin, and Shiina, but not Kirin's mother nor Akira :P The series is over :( I love the animation, but the music is what takes the cake for me. I have the OST and it's been one of simple yet clean OST's i've ever enjoyed listening. Didn't saw the ED cards(i'm using caffeine's version) Hopefully it'll be included on the BD's! I can't wait for BD's to watch this again in the future in HD!! I do want a S2, but not right now. Hopefully maybe 2 years from now. Now i'm thinking i should watch Shokugeki no Soma after this. I give this an 8/10 just for the amazing soundtrack and great animation! |

| Loved the show. It wasn't anything special, but it really tugged the right strings for me. The choice of VAs was great, I loved the caracters, the usual shaft syle. I can clearly understand why people found it boring though, it was pretty repetitive. I like to cook myself so I know what it means to make others enjoy a meal. It gets a solid 9/10 from me, for personal reasons. That preview song was just adorable. |
| Will not be revolutionary, but to see cute girls doing cute things with a splash of good feelings and friendship, I sincerely always like it. Then see the dishes designed and cooked so well, it's just a virtue more. The ending song is wonderful. |
| 7/10, but that's only because I like the food-fan-service side of things. Otherwise ok SoL. Didn't really hit me in the feels, which even Nichijou can do, so loses points there. |

| I'm kind of surprised this show is so underrated. A really good show to step back and rewatch. It was a good ride in getting to watch Ryou's growth and fleshing out through the story. Going from a pretty lonely and isolated kid to one with some truly precious friends/family. They took their time just touching on how much she buries her problems. Someone who has had to become self-sufficient in a hurry and struggles to really reach out and lean on people. It's a work in progress for her, but she's come a long way. Slowly, but certainly able to rely on Kirin and Shiina for things. And in that way there's been nice steps taken for Kirin and Shiina as well. Kirin starting to become more responsible and not just relying on the kindness of those around her. Brought a mountain sized amount of light into Ryou's life. Pushing herself to grow in areas that she isn't very good at (such as cooking) and going above and beyond for her family. The little things like being there for Ryou's graduation despite not being asked was important for Ryou to not feel so alone. While Shiina gets less focus than the other two, she does mature. Someone who really didn't have many if any friends before all this started. Opening up her life to her friends, realizing how much support she has all around her, and pushing herself more to be there. The last episode was a solid way to leave it off. Some nice moments, good capping off for how much brighter Ryou's life is than it was in episode 1. Sure the over the top food segments were there. But I never thought that was the key draw for the show. The little moments, the deepening of friendships and remembering the past was the important parts of this show. Kirin and Ryou just becoming better and more complete people. |
| Man, what a sweet conclusion this was. Ryou receiving her grandma's apron as a graduation gift was really nice. And not to mention that now, she and Kirin will be flatmates, how great. All in all, it was a very enjoyable SoL with some really heartwarming moments. And the food, being its strongest point, looked beyond delicious during every episode. Without a doubt, a very pleasant experience. 7/10 |
| I can't believe I completed this anime after watching half through and leaving it in hold since 2015. I liked how it turned out in the end. However the anime didn't have the punch to make a name for itself. 2019 and no signs of sequel. We won't see the girls finding out the girl first floor is actually her art high school teacher. 7/10 |
| Re-watched: This wasn't as warm and sentimental as I remember it being. Too much focus on food porn and narrating the taste and not enough of the characters actually connecting through cooking. Since Kirin has to break 51% of the dishes she washes it's not like they can really learn and grow together doing it. The anime seems to think that cooking is something that can only be done for someone else. I feel like the show had a unique opportunity to showcase the communal aspect of cooking itself and with a stronger focus on that it would've been more interesting for sure because watching anime girls eat doesn't do much for me. Some episodes were better than others though, like the one with the library was really nostalgic for me personally. I'm convinced that this show would have been better if Yuki was a regular character. As nice as it was seeing her 'in-full' after only getting glimpses of her the whole time, she really stole the spotlight and I wanted to see more of her. All of the older women in this anime were great, like that OL aunt and Kirin's mother were fun to watch (and hot). Copy-paste SHAFT 'style' at it's most copy-paste-y. Visually it looked good though. |

| Aww. They are living together for now on. That was the perfect ending. :3 Overall, it was a heartwarming CGDCT. All the characters were cute and likeable. The story was a bit repetitive, but it wasn't a big problem IMO. 8/10 |

| Unexpectedly touching finale with the grandma stuff. I thought I was going crazy when her picture kept changing lol. And it was nice seeing Ryo going from a lone wolf to everybody at home. Overall, a very enjoyable series. Not one of my best CGDCT shows but well done and I would be down for more. I was very disappointed there were no shorts or specials with the chibis. Even a "clean" version of everyone dancing and singing that little jungle in the previews would've been great. 8 big gulps /10 |
