| Amazing episode one after another. Parasyte is slowly becoming the best anime of the season, maybe of the year. Murano needs to chill with the whole, Are you Izumi thing. People change, it's part of life. I wonder if it's wrong for me to ship Izumi x Kana instead of Izumi x Murano. The parasyte's murdering for a special reason, that's pretty interesting. But the whole Parasyte running for a position in our community is unbelievable. Crazy. Love it. Give me more, why the hell did the episode end there. Don't take a break next week! |

| Well if the previous episodes were rated "shinichi/10", this one's "MENTAL/shinichi". I wish they had ufotable's budget for this show, so far the shaky animation has been my only gripe. |

| That kiss. So they're official now. I'm sure it's not gonna last long though. Rather slow episode but enjoyable as always. Something big's coming for sure. |
| Next episode will be huge. Ending of the first half of the season. It looks like his life will only get more complicated now. That parasyte who killed the Yakuza not only noticed Shinichi but also the girl who was with him, meaning they will definitely go after her. This is by far the best anime of the season so far. Beats F/SN, PP2 and others completely. |
| So the Parasytes begin to organize themselves? Maybe they'll start an invasion of the planet. Kawaii date, but Murano still has doubts. I mean, she's right, but it's not like Shinichi's a full parasyte. |

| Just noticed that Murano kinda reminds me of Chisaki from NagiAsu with her almost fear of change... which isn't a good thing cuz I hated Chisaki with a passion. She was the primary reason I couldn't enjoy that show. Hopefully Murano gets over it soon, or at least keeps it to herself. I don't wanna hear her say the same thing every episode. |
| Couple of issues with this episode. 1) Why didn't Shinichi's hair wiggle around when Kana plucked it? He is part parasyte and so that hair follicle should have been still alive. 2) Why is Murano so damn annoying? Yes we get it, Shinichi isn't the same and you think he is a different character but would you play another tune? It is getting to the point, I am expecting her to say "Is he really Shinichi"? every episode. 3) The kiss between Shinichi and Murano was forced. It needed more development and shouldn't have happened after a first date. |

| Awhhh Kana :,,( Damn man I love both girls and although I still want it to end with SatomixShinichi I really want Kana to be happy too :( I'll just put there out there but as someone who HAS NOT read the manga my heart is telling me that one of the girls is going to die at some point. I hope I'm wrong but I will cry if it does Anyways although this was a character development episode IT WAS A GOD-TIER CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT EPISODE Also I'd vote for the Parasytes. Seriously more fucking charismatic and interesting than our Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper... Seriously Parastye makes Wednesday's go from a shitty halfway point until school's out to one of the best days of the week I cannot believe how much I love this series. Also I have a question: Are parasytes or "monsters" just common knowledge now? I mean after last week I assumed all the government did was push the hair greeting and nothing else. Also does Satomi know that what her classroom was attacked by was A monster/parasyte ? When she was talking to Shinichi in the cafe she recalled her attacker in Parasyte form so is she just denying it or does she just not want to tell anyone? Or like i said before; are Parasytes just common knowledge now? |

| Art/Animation: Bleh, so many CG people this week. Some derp faces too but they weren't all that noticeable. Besides those 2 things, it was fine. Music: Actually pretty good this week, mostly just light-hearted stuff with the occasional dark scenes that require atmospheric music. Story+Characters: Got some psychological stuff this week. I really liked the scene in the park where Shinichi is faced with a misbehaving kid saying he hates his mother, damn that must have struck a blow. In his situation, I would probably have a panic attack too. Happy parasite goes off to kill a bunch of yakuza members to test and see how well he can go against a group of humans who are using guns and edged weapons. Then cleverly switches faces to escape. It's pretty cool how we are starting to get into the parasites objectives. Running for mayor, testing their limits in case of emergencies. They are starting to build their own secret society of sorts. It makes the line between humans and parasites become that much thinner. I thought it was pretty creepy how Shinichi tells Murano to think of humans as cattle or pigs, obviously quoting Migi. I guess in a way it does help but it's clear Shinichi is still having trouble with his empathy. At least he's a little better at it now. Murano does her little, "Are you really Izumi-kun?" stuff again. She wasn't as annoying this time around and she had more to her than just that this week so I wasn't bothered by it as much. Still... wish her dialogue was a bit more interesting. |

| They are really overusing the CGI to the extreme in this episode, I really hope they don't go that far down in budget for the last arc, that would be quite a shame :-/ |

It wouldn't hurt to give her some character development. I mean, at some point, she has to realise that something's happened to her boyfriend's mom, right? Lol smh. |

| I would like Murano more if she wasn't just Shinichi's tie to humanity.. Also it would help if she didn't keep beating a dead horse.. She's concerned and that's not a problem but you have to blind if you can't see those "are you the real Izumi-kun?" questions aren't bothering him Kana's growing on me which sucks because well... Good to see parasites aren't just mindless killing machines.. Makes them more tougher to deal with though and more dangerous |

| It seems like I come into every episode expecting this to be not-so-good, then I'm pleasantly surprised to find it's still interesting thanks to the latest development. The increasing seriousness of the parasite situation was definitely needed. They're forming coordinated groups with objectives now. Democracies and democratic republics in particular will be vulnerable, since there are more opportunities for takeover. I shudder at the thought of a monarchy or tyranny takeover. Murano's lines are getting pretty repetitive at this point. I hope she has some development outside of pointing out Shinichi's change. |

| That dream sequence was very....interesting to say the least. It felt very random, but I really appreciate that they put it in the episode. Also, geez. That parasite did not hesitate to absolutely slaughter every single one of those yakuza members. Makes you kind of feel sorry for them for a bit. This plot is starting to get even more interesting. I'm really curious to see where they're going to take it. What, with a parasite running for mayor, things could get hairy very quickly. |

| i hope this animation will be back on track for the next season it started to take noticeable drop these last few weeks fact the parasites are learning to test their strength is scary and one of them running for mayor reminds me of MGS2 for some reason if this goes the way i tink it does lol |

| Not the best way to handle the material they have, but hey, this is the first episode that actually makes me feel something. The Yakuza massacre scene is done really well. Although I don't know who the key animator is for that scene, it definitely screams Madhouse none the less. The drama between Shinichi, Satomi and Kana is nothing spectacular but it's going somewhere. Let's hope they don't mess it up. The parasite is already organized, the whole situation is getting out of Shinichi's hand(see what I did?), it's a nice direction, but kind of expected. The music is still unappealing and the timing is all over the place, but I guess that's something never and ever change. A long-awaited good episode. |
