| I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I'm enjoying this show, the studio is doing a pretty great job. I really hope the quality keeps up. And I just recently learned that Daigo is Eiki Eiki's brother too omg, that's kinda awesome. I wonder if they'll put in some Back Stage!! stuff. |

| I don't want to admit this but...Damn! I am enjoying this show so much. I've said the phrase "so cute" at least ten times in this episode alone and the main couple is adorable together. So worth the 720p downloads. Gorgeous animation! Usually BL anime are shit, but I can see this show getting a solid 8/10 from me if it keeps this up. |

Maybe I missed it? Nope you're right. It wasn't in the manga. The beginning threw me off a bit, but it's still good. n_n It's really more that it was a change rather than any filler scenes. In the manga Rei knew there would be a kiss and deliberately chose not to tell Izumi. But the anime adaptation changed it so that for some reason it's Izumi's dad that chooses to edit the version of the script that Rei receives so he doesn't know about it altogether. Not sure why they bothered considering the situation still doesn't make much sense really, but yeah. |

Those intense H scenes in the manga were toned down a lot in the anime. As a non-manga reader, I'm kind of worried about this issue too because this show has gotten some positive reception from the male audience but if they add something sexual, it might just make the guys drop it and give it a bad rating. |

If a straight guy is so repulsed by gay stuff that they'd drop a show as soon as something gay appears on screen, yet they chose to watch this show, they must've been completely ignored the OP and ED, since that has boys holding hands and embracing and etc. But in all honesty I hope they do tone it down for the scene in the 3rd episode, since that scene is really legit molestation/rape, and nobody even treats it like a serious thing in the manga. Rei just says to Shougo something like "oh play nice with him, he's still a big favorite nowadays". Yea, cause that's a reaction to have when Ryouma almost raped someone in the family you work for? Ugh. I know a lot of people probably wouldn't care, but in general the reason I like Love Stage and was looking forward to it be adapted was because it avoids a lot of the ugly yaoi cliches. But that was one I was sad to see it did not avoid. So I think it's be great if they somehow retroactively change it in the adaptation. It would certainly help the story flow better. |

Eiki Eiki and Taishi Zaou (the authors) like to make things extremely sexual and they like to make it graphic. Therefore adapting it is difficult business. A lot if yaoi manga is like this, because yaoi is different from shonen-ai, which is boys love. Yaoi is based around sex and therefore sex will be a part of a lot of it. Thankfully Love Stage has a plot, but the sex is still a requirement for some of the development. I haven't seen episode 3 yet, either, so I don't know what they're going to do with it and honestly where this scene is concerned I would also like to see it tuned down, but I have no problem with the other sex scenes in Love Stage. |

| omg that opening LOL it cracked me up so bad Hilarious episode overall. I wasn't expecting to find this series so funny. I love Izumi though. He's the best. Shougo is really funny but Rei x Izumi would be nice <3 |

| That Lalalulu scene in the beginning confused me and I'm kind of disappointed in the one where Izumi's dad and Rei were talking.Both scenes weren't part of the manga and the pace is kinda irritating,considering how much material of the manga it could've covered IF it had followed it closely.Which I was hoping for because it's one of my favourite manga. All in all,it was nice but the manga is way better so if you like the anime so far,I'd suggest reading it. |
