| I'm sure that the root of the problem in this story is Turbo Granny herself. However, this is only episode 4, and they're already fighting the "final boss"? Anyways, that night, the two of them immediately went to the forbidden tunnel. After getting into it, they were sort of trapped (confined) by Turbo Granny from the front and back. Their plan was to use Turbo Granny's controlled power. Seeing this, the creepy granny immediately returned Okarun's genitals, so that the curse was gone. Realizing that their situation was now in danger, the only way out was to challenge the old grandmother to a running race. Actually, it wasn't a running race either; it was more like playing tag, where the old granny had to catch them both. As simple as that. With very little training, Momo is now able to control Okarun's power just by feeling it, without having to see it directly. This makes Granny "small" and unable to release her power. So, basically Granny has already lost. However, the next problem arises, namely the location-bound spirit. It seems that this spirit is a much bigger problem than Granny, mainly because of its enormous size. All they could do was run. They ran, ran, and kept running. Eventually, they managed to bring the tunnel's resident spirit and Turbo Granny to Kamigoe City. As a result, Turbo Granny and the location-bound spirit were soon erased from this world. This means, they managed to defeat it! With the disappearance of Turbo Granny, Okarun's curse also disappeared. This means, Okarun's genitals have returned to their owners. Then, what will be told next? |

These two are just one in the same lmao. One wants to live by the misuse the logic of "ladies first" and the other is guilt tripping with fake tears.... scratch that, just an adorable face because NO tears came outta Momo lmao. But yeah, the finally made it back to the tunnel where it all started and right off the bat Turbo Granny on her dumb shit, using her eyes as a mouth and such xD

They get the whole thing over with rather quickly though, and they turn Turbo Granny into an eel of some sorts idk lol. Which just leads to the bound spirit best girl Seiko was talking about last episode to chase after them now instead of Turbo Granny lmao. One very well animated chase scene later and we're at the bottom of an onsen, to which they fry the crab ofc and saving the day!.... or not because even MORE spirits start chasing them now.. sigh.
They have to fight, duh, but you know, running away is always a viable option, which they do, with Okarun running like normal, while Momo just becomes Spider-Man for a second there wtf lol. Don't remember that being the manga, but I'll take it (the Beethoven track in the back was the cherry on top btw xD) They get on a train, the Takasaki line to be exact, a train known for it's top speed of 120 km/h, which just leads to Kamikoshi... which means that they ACTUALLY SUCCESFULLY EXCORISED TURBO GRANNY!!! With her remain in this beautiful ass scene.
Poor Okarun afterwards though, dude was NOT tryna have no crab after what had just happened, meanwhile, Seiko and Momo were just bickering and fighting over a piece of it lmao. Then dude gets investigated to see if he actually got his dick back, but maybe that'll be saved for another day. Making this arc come to a close, with Momo and Okarun not saying goodbye, but see you tomorrow <33333

| The tunnel that has the origins of Turbo Granny, it's pure psychedelia between Momo and Okarun for the usefulness of her curse enough to taunt it whilst in Okarun's psyche. And for Momo to bet Turbo Granny to a running match until the start of the tunnel, she agrees, and doesn't wimpers the way the latter chooses to lay her rules by. Of course, Momo getting sucked in is normal, but Okarun being able to outwit it for Momo to be able to exercise her psychic powers, they're the power duo to kick her ass at the right moments. And Okarun sucking Turbo Granny's nipple is the cherry on the icing. The location-bound crab spirit chasing the trio around Shono City to the best of Okarun's abilities, the impressive cinematography following the seamless action finally led them to a hot spring, literally cooking the crab alive. But that's not the end of the problems, as people being controlled corpses chase them both endlessly around the city, there's just no choice but to go full speed ahead no matter how excessive the power is used, alongside superb choreography. But all of this effort still doesn't let loose from the heels of Turbo Granny, only if she's taunted enough for Seiko to take the lead at Kamigoe City, fully exorcising Turbo Granny who used to be a bastion for girls who've willingly gave their lives for sacrifice being tainted in one way or another. Welp, Seiko never got to see Okarun's balls despite cooking crab hotpot as consolation, and for the time being, Okarun has finally made a friend through Momo. What shenanigans will both face going forward? |

| I dont think this was the best of Dandadan, maybe i need to rewatch to find out but dont get me wrong- the animation , direction and the shots are amazing but the story should be the top priority i feel (subjective ik) , i like momo and the guys relationship but the story has dimmed down after momos granny showed up, really not a big fan of her addition. JUST SHOWING ACTION ISNT THAT FUN. |

| Finally getting back to Dandadan after a few months and boy, this episode kicked all of the asses. Watching this at night on the new TV is so satisfying and felt extra cinematic with the striking red filter that was a major part of the episode with some awesome action, animation cuts, choreography and high-octane intensity to boot (with bonus points for the William Tell Overture remix I think I heard there). Just a very fun episode, and it's a big appeal to why I like the start of the anime so much, it just embraces its weirdness and eccentricity and dials it up so many notches and the animation and adaptation notes support the series' style really well. The awkward goodbyes at the end to Momo giving Okarun the 'chance' to see him again with the 'see you tomorrow' was awkward yet adorable too in a way. |
| Holy, the chase scene was pretty intense, but Momo and Okarun had this exorcism task in the bag. Okarun went crazy on his mad dash, his feet must've been scorched by the end there and Momo also managed to support their escape with her power, though what impressed me the most was the range of her reach and that she was now capable of throwing entire cars??? Is she that powerful?! DAMN! At last, the infamous Turbo Granny has been successfully exorcised along with the location-bound spirit giant crab. Now time for a post-victory feast starring crab legs as the main dish! Lol. Kind of feel that they skimmed over the explanation to Turbo Granny's existence to fit the time for this ep. It's almost as if the more sentimental aspect of her identity is glossed over. |

The dead shouldn’t attack the living, no matter the situation. And the other way. Thems the rules. He claims he got it back. But as I recall, that’s the whole plot. They think the same thoughts. | Ayase was really cool in this episode, she went nuts. Now that Turbo Granny's gone, does that mean Okarun don't have any powers? Hope that's not the case because I want to see Okarun on the spotlight too |
