Someone give Kyou an spin-off already. It's crazy how bro keeps throwing fact after fact with each passing episode.
And in the end, Ayame did end up being a walking plot device used to speedrun the love triangle storyline lol.

And so, the "good morning's" are forever gone for the Hina bros. There are just "morning's" now. Hina-over indeed.
As for me, I couldn't care less about picking sides in mindless waifu wars so as a result, I didn't feel particularly happy nor bothered while watching this episode. Still a good episode tho.

So... how are things supposed to continue now that the love triangle drama, which was like 80% of the overall story, is solved? Genuinely curious about this.

Right at the beginning, Hina talking about her feelings—her expression was amazing. I don’t want to talk about the main event of the episode because it’s just too sad. Not just for Hina, but for us viewers too.

Go look at my comment on episode 1 and see how cheerful she was, and now see how we’re all hurting for Hina.

About the main event: I’m not happy. Why does the writer deliberately hurt a main character so harshly? Maybe I’m emotional, but there were many kinder ways to reject someone. Like a simple intro:
“Hina, listen, you’re my close friend, but I know this is hurting you, so I have to set boundaries.”

I know Taiki was confused about his feelings for a long time. But Hina begged him, gave him chances, gave him everything, and he was blind. There are many ways to ease someone's heart. Rejection doesn’t have to be cold.

Also, why is Hina this weak? She knows Taiki loves Chinatsu. She expected to be rejected, yet she clung to hope. Her reaction was so intense and sad.

I’m not biased toward Hina, but the scene was truly heartbreaking. I wouldn’t want to go through that kind of emotional pain. Damn, I’m moving on to episode 25. Enough writing.
I love slice-of-life works.

Man that was painful. I've always been impressed by Hina, and she did another amazing job this time. She conveyed her feelings well. She always does.

Honestly, both Hina and Taiki did well. Good for Taiki that he stands his ground and knows what he really wants.

All the pain aside, I'm seeing an unexpected development between Kyou and Ayame. Hope this is going somewhere good.

sorry guys, I am a Chinatsu Senpai supporter... Even though i really like Hina's character, it was still the perfect answer given by our Dear Inota... the whole episode itself is Very good... After this episode i started liking Taiki More and more... but the Best scene in the episode was Kyo-sama's Roasting... 🔥🔥🔥

You just know it was coming. Forget about this being the penultimate episode or this being a training camp with bonfire, which in the world of anime has a RICH history when it comes to making or breaking couples, but yeah, they weren't even a couple, as you know this was always about Hina and how one-sided everything was. All that talk over how she wanted things to go down and how it still will not, was genuinely sad.

It's easy to hate Taiki here, but for him, this was never something MORE THAN a friendship. We never saw him holding any sort of feelings towards Hina, even after getting confessed to by her some 10 episodes ago. Sure he was confused but that's normal for someone his age when two girls have the same kind of feelings for you.. which in itself is not really normal but okay xD He was clear with his communication, so yeah, the stuff could've been delayed(it actually would have if Ayame wasn't so super smart), but this was inevitable:(

The ship has sunk officially, deeeeeeep down. Power to Hina, and it's over to just Chinatsu from here on out.

💔/5
@Softhenic03 Ikr, I don't understand why people are hating Taiki. From the very start, Taiki's only focus of love was Chinatsu, and everyone knew that. Hina is a nice girl, but her confession was the first step that pushed her to the abyss of "expectations." A guy who has always loved someone else wouldn't just accept you just because you are a nice girl and have shown courage by confessing your love. It would just make the guy feel awkward. If Taiki had accepted Hina's confession, then to me, it would just seem like he truly couldn't love one person before jumping to another. I don't want Hina to be his second choice. People seriously need to understand that what Taiki did was good for both of them! I pray Hina finds a very good life partner.

Well it was obvious, but still sad :( Hina is best girl, and I see most ppl think that way looking at number of favourites. I wonder what will happen in season 2.

I hate it when anime/manga that I enjoyed ends, especially when there could be much longer plot and when I love main heroine :P

I wish I had magic glasses that let me see real world in anime colors ;)

This is so heartbreaking. Ayame just had to meddle in a situation she doesn't understand. Much of the episode was Hina narrating about her feelings for Taiki, and how she will wait while he pursues Chinatsu. It's the night of the bonfire, and Ayame sees Taiki go to the gym to get his jacket. She asks Hina to go to the gym and get some sound equipment. She thought it was perfect. She thought they would get together. Hina wasn't going to talk about her feelings, but did anyway. Of course, Taiki rejected her. Hina knew this would happen, but she couldn't stop herself. And Ayame seeing that Hina was crying. She must feel like a fool.

This backfired so badly on Ayame. Now she knows that Taiki actually has feelings for someone else. Before, she had no idea, thinking that she could get Taiki and Hina together. But seeing Hina cry so much was heartbreaking. This was not a happy episode. Not at all. But in some ways, Hina needed to hear Taiki's actual feelings about the situation they were in. It was not healthy. It was constantly hurting Hina. She needs to move on.

One more episode in season 1. We know this will continue after episode 25. I'm curious about what will happen in season 2, but how long will we have to wait?
