| Nooo, Karen, what did you do?! Why all the girls in this series has to be short-haired? o_o But we got two new girls... Yozuru, wonder how she turns out. Have to say she's not my type so far. But Ononoki Yotsugi on the other hand, that's something different, I kinda like her. It's interesting though they both know about their demons. Another possible customers perhaps. Or rather... overseers to replace Oshino? And is Hanekawa real profession stalker by any chance? :D No wonder when Araragi isn't properly doing his homework I guess :) And when Karen-chan stood side by side next to Suruga I had to laugh how different heights they are :D Karen is taller by full head yet she is 3 years younger (Suruga 2-2 high-school and Karen 2-2 middle schools). That was marvellous scene. Could it be that Karen cut her hair because Suruga is her idol and Suruga grown her her becuase she is secretly worshiping his sister? Well, who knows :) No sign of Tsukihi this time. I guess Karen is stealing her arc the same way she stole hers. |
| High places and little girls...that sounded wrong. Ep 9. Plot: After a series of misadventures and a meeting with a strange but powerful woman named Kagenui, Koyomi lets Karen meet Kanbaru. Dear lord. And the there was that Yotsugi girl with the posed look. Both seemed to know about the group's Oddities... Character: Kagenui and Yotsugi are the most interesting here. Karen could tell that Kagenui was not only strong but dangerous. The fact that she could stand on high places in heels with great gravity control it seems. Not only that but she could tell that Koyomi and his group were not ordinary people. Yotsugi...she was just plain odd. And we all know what that means in this show. Animation/sound: It was like the animation wanted me to grope Karen... 4/5. This ep was brought to you by delicious Karen. |

| hachikuji and araragi's interactions are always funny to see as well as him and his sisters. The new characters introduced seem to be highly capable of causing mayhem and disarray i wonder whats to come as the plot builds. |

| Whoops, I accidentally skipped an episode and didn't realize it until the end 😅 Oh well, I'll just edit this post if I have anything else to say about this episode later! Woah, Karen cut off her ponytail so casually. But I liked her ponytail :O I thought I at least saw all the characters of this show before I started, but I never saw Yozuru anywhere else before. I wonder if they're looking for Oshino? But they also said they're planning to set up a base there like he did. I wonder what that's all about. I love how Shinobu tripped Kiyomi before he could harass Hachikuji 😂 |

His and Hachikuji's little skit is one of the best things and it just gets weirder and weirder over time XD Two interesting new characters also got introduced and they clearly have some link to Oshino/the oddities. |

And I wonder what they want from Oshino because I'm pretty sure they're looking for Oshino-san since that's Oshino-san's place, maaan. And they know what "kind" Karen, Koyomi, and Mayoi are. So curious about these new characters. I swear the Mayoi and Araragi scenes makes me happy. Hahahaha. They're just so cute always when they're spending time together and just teasing each other. Damnit, Shinobu, pervert Araragi is back, but you stopped him from harassing Mayoi? Hahahaha. Nice. "I'm dating Senjougahara, and I love Hanekawa. But I plan to marry you" BYEEEEEEEEEEEEE! | Impressive that they managed to escape Tsuhiki and your malevolent awls. Not sure what part of this arc is "Tsuhiki Phoenix." She hasn't even appeared that much these past two episodes, if at all. Of course, Kanbaru immediately thought Araragi was offering Karen's virginity. Karen's strategy at rock paper scissors was entertaining, as terrible of a formula as it was. They spent a lot of time on that piggyback scene, eh? Wonder how Hanekawa knew where Araragi was heading. I'm getting Oshino vibes from Kagenui. The monologue scene Araragi had while contemplating harassing Hachikuji was funny, with the three Araragis going back and forth. Shinobu fucking with him was amusing. Hey, that's the girl from Tsukimonogatari! How do these people know about the snail and the hornet, I wonder? |

| Not really a fan of how many of the female characters are just abandoning their look for something new and shorter. They basically all just have Kanbaru's haircut now. At first Hanekawa kind of looked like Kanbaru, and now Karen kind of looks like Hanekawa. |

| The ep. was interesting, though Karen/Koyomi's scene took half of the screentime of the ep. Amazing how long you can discuss a topic in this series. I got to say it was worth it, though. The nice ass of Karen was worth it Also, this sign can really be misinterpreted. LOL I was hoping for interesting action from the Karen and Kanbaru's meeting. Oh well, maybe we will see something interesting in the next ep. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Looks like there are new characters introduced. And somehow they have an ability to see if a demon has been inside a person. By having introduced the girl with a little sack on her head, all of the characters on by banner has been introduced. Lately we have seen a lot of Hachikuji, though I would think she wasn't an important character. This is an arc about Tsukihi, but we have seen Karen more. LOL! I hope we at least get to see something regarding to Tsukihi Phoenix in the last two ep. ^^ |

| Yep, another filler episode except for the two new characters and just like Karen mostly in the first arc, Tsukihi is not so important in her own arc, and this is worse we have only 2 episodes left. |

| Platinum Disco is actually a pretty good OP, the visuals of Tsukihi dancing really match the vibe the OP gives off. Also totally would've mentioned this last episode but for obvious reasons, it slipped my mind hehe. Well now Karen has short hair too, and she actually kinda rocks it. I'm pretty sure Kanbaru and Karen will get along pretty well since they act pretty similar to one another. The two new characters seem pretty interesting, especially Yotsugi who I didn't expect to see this early on in the series. And another great interaction with Hachikuji. Well we're now two episodes into Tsukihi Phoenix and so far it's kinda lacking the 'Tsukihi' part lol, hope the next episode has more of her in it. |

| Great episode! Again, the OP is so freaking good. You know what, the more I listen to it the more I like it. Aww, I was looking forward to more Karen and Kanbaru interaction. At this point I hope everyone cuts their hair now since everyone's doing it lmao. Either way, short or long they all look great. Araragi and Mayoi interactions will never get old. Kagenui and Ononoki are interesting, their definitely related to Oshino in some way. |

It never ever gets old! lol at Araragi being so horny for Hanekawa, (first he said she was the perfect woman, then he said her breasts were perfect or something like that then he gets all excited that he gets to talk to her and now he literally said that he's in love with her) he really should just try to be with her if he loves her that much. that's kinda scummy to lust over her when he's with Hitagi. Two new girls are here, are they gonna be like Kaiki? are they gonna go after big boy Oshino? very curious. Karen fanservice was awesome as usual, but still no Tsuki wtf. 5/5 |
| That 'nishishi' laugh reminded me of Miya from Amagami, and coincidentally (or not?) there was also an 'amagami' in the episode lol Tsukihi's arc but it's two episodes with not much Tsukihi, I wonder what's up with that. |

| This ep was hilarious XD especially the The piggy back scene and the interactions with Mayoi. I definitely wasn't expecting Karen to just cut off her ponytail like that. I can see Kanbaru and Karen getting along pretty well. The way Shinobu randomly made Araragi trip had me rolling XD We've been introduced to 2 new characters-Yotsugi and Kagenoi. I look forward to their roles in the story. There's a surprising lack of Tsukihi since this is her arc. I guess her arc was shorter than what I had anticipated. |

 Probably Nisemonogatari's funniest episode, so damn funny in the imagery. This whole segment of his inner monologue was done so well, was fucking dying.   Fucking around with Hachikuji is always a lot of fun to watch. This episode had some really fun, moe jokes with her catchphrase and puns. Of course, Araragi's reactions to Hachikuji were great, too. "A LOVE-BITE?!" Ah, hilarious episode, loved it. Glad the comedy is the way it is though, because it's not comedy entirely of absurd situations or one off things, it's easy to forget how scenes play out when coming back years later. I'm sure I'll be laughing as much in the future as I am now. Don't think I even found it this funny when I first watched it, or maybe I did, has been too long, don't recall. Both of the new characters introduced seem interesting. Looking forward to seeing them more. |

| Somehow Araragi was able to survive his younger little sister's awls. Would've been cool to see him and Karen dodge those to save themselves. Karen shoulder-carries her big bro while talking about random shit. But why did she have to randomly cut her ponytail to carry him? Bruh. I'm gonna miss that ponytail. It's not as if there are plenty of anime girls with those. Anyway, Araragi brought her to meet Kanbaru. Surely nothing will go wrong with the two together. Kagenui and more importantly, Ononoki Yotsugi made their debut! Not much to say about them now except that they look really sus. I love Hanekawa's theme. In general, she gives such a peaceful vibe. I doubt there'd be many people who'd hate Hanekawa. She's such a sweet girl. Araragi and Hachikuji's conversations never fail to entertain me. Even tho Araragi is a pervert and a literal lolicon, they somehow manage to make it so absurd that it's hard to take it seriously unlike some other anime where it's just creepy. It's a "this is just a drawing, no need to take it so hard" moment. "I'm dating Senjougahara. I love Hanekawa. But I'll marry you." Peak comedy. Monogatari has better comedy than most comedy anime probably. Anyway, I did check just to make sure. There is some nuance in the Japanese that is lost in the English subtitles. In Episode 12 of Bake, Araragi uses "suki" to express her love to Senjougahara. But in this episode, he used "daisuki" for Hanekawa. Even though "daisuki" is supposed to be a more intense form "suki," in this context it doesn't mean he "loves" her the same way as Senjougahara at all. "Suki" has more or less replaced "ai" which is probably the most extreme term to express love in Japanese. At least that's what I learned from reading countless random forum posts and comments. Even without that, as other comments said, you shouldn't take everything Araragi and Hachikuji say to each other at face value. |
