| It could recreate the replicas....that's just mean. But they beat the final boss.....but fell to the dreaded mimic again. Mimics are very smart you see. |

Ok so if Frieren is THAT strong why was she unable to kill that dragon easily and needed Stark's help? Thats the only thing that is bugging me on the show so far, other than that 10/10 episode and series 100%, Madhouse is INSANE
| @Aaronide_ger bad writing. nothing makes sense in this series. not the setting, worldbuilding, power level, magic system, and the fact that mages have to do life-risking chuunin exam to enter some territories don't make any sense. actually it does, the editor wanted the mangaka to do a battle shonen arc because it was serialized in a weekly shonen magazine. I just turn off my brain and enjoy cute elf, fat bitch and armpits. |

| @Aaronide_ger The fact that they need a "frontline" seems silly to begin with when Frieren alone is this OP lol Like do they really need a warrior? She doesn't lack either magic and physical (summon golem) damage, plus she has insane defense capability too. Only priest really contributes anything to the team since Frieren is prone to control magic used by monsters. (Come to think of it, that monster that can put Frieren to sleep is insanely OP cuz it works on Frieren to begin with. |

| @Ventus_S Healing magic requires no explanation other than "if it ain't dead, it can be regenerated to full health in time" for the most part. It seems to be the case here as well. |

| OMFG OMFG OMG OMG OMG THE ANIMATION THOOOOOOOO this has to be the best animated episode of Frieren ong, the lighting the shadows the shading the fluidity just everything was PERFECT man😭😩😩😩😩😩😩🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 So Frieren is basically the same strength as the Demon King and Fern is hinted at being as strong as the Demon King and the one who can defeat Frieren, very cool how Fern is a prodigy that girl is just gifted at magic😮💨 So the second test is over I wonder what’s gonna happen from here and if there’s gonna be a third test?🤔 I gotta talk about the animation one more time bc Frieren was SO cool in this episode, the part where the clone looked at Fern and blasted her away and Frieren came in behind her clone like Gon did to Hisoka gave me so much goosebumps bro like this episode was a striaght 10/10😩😮💨😩😮💨🔥🔥🔥🔥😩😩🔥🔥🔥😩😩    |

| The long awaited, the long detained episode is FINALLY HERE!! Frieren fighting for real. The source of the clones are also revealed through Frieren's efforts, albeit how hard given trial was, to fight their distinctive clones. Fern is showcasing her abilities to the fullest, undoubtedly the most awaited. The whole exam had been a complex challenge, but great to see all of them passing it with limited causalities. Frieren ended up in that treasure box again LMAO, second nature to her with her curiosity for tomes of spells as first. Darn awesome episode, worth the wait. |

| Truly the height of magic, we are at the peak... Props to all the animators, this was a treat to watch, a true visual spectacle. The battle against the Frieren clone was such a high quality, polished fight, it just goes to show how much love and care the staff have given to this series, and it shows. The story material covered in this arc has just been alright in my opinion, but the production quality has really elevated this to new heights. Übel continues to be probably my favourite character in this arc, as her smugness and confidence is so fun to watch, along with her strong abilities, that command every scene she is in. I can't believe that there are only two episodes left. This series has been running for close to half a year now, but the time has just flown by. I'll definitely miss this when it's over. |

| That's right... aside from magic power and strength, luck is necessary. I don't think Lawine and Richter are weak, but unfortunately they had to meet Sense's clone before Ubel cut... her hair. Even though there was Denken, Ubel and Land coming there shortly after that moment. Like, they could have survived! But it's not time yet. Their decision was right, they had to stay alive because if they died there then everything they had done so far would be in vain. Of course the highlight of this episode was the fight between Frieren's clone vs Frieren & Fern!! Honestly, it was really, really great. Aside from the super eye-pleasing animation, I feel like this is the "worst" wound Fern and Frieren have ever gotten, even though Frieren wasn't hurt at all... but at least there was a slight scratch on her arm. Even when the clone was battered and had no arms left, she could still throw Fern hard against the wall. With just a stare. That was... horrifying and amazing at the same time. And that's still just the clone, not the real, actual Frieren the Slayer. Although... of course the real Frieren we know is a great, powerful mage who is easily trapped by mimic. It was funny to see Fern's nasty look when Frieren, who was so fascinating a few minutes earlier, was now tricked by cheap magic like mimic lol. xD |

| @Hikinekomori It's a bit more complicated than that, because it deals with interpretative perception of one's reality and its possibilities over their understanding of what something can be affected by. This will get further detailed as a plot point in the next big arc, but the gist is that in Frieren's lore, one's imaginary being conceptually inclined to intuitively understand how something work is directly connected to their prowess in mastering an understanding of the whole they are trying to identify and counter. Ubel is one such abnormal human for being mentally capable of such a thing, which is why it's almost like a super power to a mage such as her. |

Fern couldn't detect any mana from it, and she doesn't even recognise it as a spell. She called it the height of magic. I wonder what it is. 80 years ago last time that would be the Demon King huh. Sad that Lawine had to bail the second test though. She really tried her hardest, but no one can expect an attack like that. I almost thought she had been killed. Glad she's alive. I guess everyone from the second test is alive, passed or not. Sense really did mean what she said. I can't believe there's only two episodes left T_T |

| @Shikkakku Well, you can rest easy knowing that there's enough material for a season 2 already, and that this is a gigantic hit so huge that it is amongst the highest TV ratings in Japan weekly at the moment (only behind the usual top 3, Sazae-san, Maruko-chan and Conan). It may be almost over, but it will be back in no time I bet! |
