| How are they going to keep up this hype of every food taste throughout the whole season? its going to, no, its already predictable and rather annoying. The food and cooking info is interesting though even if I have no use for it myself. Wish there was less actually echii and more food porn. |

| I have no idea what im watching but I do get hungry while watching. This is fun. That yuri moment was kawaii but I dont like Erina. Being unprofessional like that...its not cool. I'm glad her grandpa went to taste the food! |

| Erina is the worst kind of tsundere I don't think she should even be put on that category. She should have a bitch category of her own. Glad they keep the foodgasm scene to the minimum here. Mini Souma was slightly amusing but I'm still waiting for something that would make my tummy hurts from laughing like Yakitate. People getting naked all the time over Souma's food is boring. |

The ecchi was actually less in this episode than the previous which was good, but I couldn't help but FF through the Erina foodgasm scene.. My mom almost caught me watching that >_> Anyway, I'm more interested because of this episode, art animation and soundtrack are amazing. Looking forward to the next episode. | Eh, I'm really liking this show, but even as one who doesn't particularly care one way or the other for ecchi genre itself, I can't help but feel as though the ecchi scenes are extremely unnecessary from time to time. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving the cooking elements etc., but was it really necessary to have a bunch of chibi angelic versions of the mc molest Erina's breasts (and other parts...)??? It isn't like they have offended my sensibilities (what sensibilities) or anything of the sort, but it just takes up screen time that could have been used much more effectively, or it takes up a scene where they could have been more creative with expressing the foodgasm etc. Does every single foodgasm have to exude sensuality, or couldn't they vary the reactions? Not every dish is the same after all. I mean, it is obviously called a foodgasm for a reason, but like most people have probably noticed, you don't have orgasms when eating food. You may feel elated, delighted, fulfilled, complete, gross, etc. Thus, there are a wide variety of reactions that can be had, but realistically I doubt an orgasm is one of them... of course it is an anime so some degree of this is perfectly acceptable. Just... every single time is way too excessive In the end, while it may have been in the manga, that doesn't mean it is a part that has to be adapted. Hell, they could have just toned it down or something, I would have been fine with that. The scene where she was being breast fed, however, was hilarious. Definitely liking the show, but disliking some parts of it; so, it is about upper mid pack imo for the anime this season. Hopefully in the upcoming episodes that changes cause I really had my hopes up for a fantastic cooking anime. Looks like it will be another pretty good anime at this point, but we'll see. TL;DR -> Foodgasms can be a bit excessive and they need more variety to the reactions to the food, but overall a funny and very entertaining show. |

Souma's real rival(That will come later in the series) are way better than her and his love interest is definitely not her from how the mangaka chose to write the story, it's someone else and she isn't even main girl so that's why I'm pissed at how J.C Staff made it look in the Op like she was main girl. If the first appearance of Erina right after Jouichirou says that the secret to becoming a good chef is finding a woman "that will make you want to give all the food you make to her" isn't enough for you, I'm not sure what is. Considering that Erina is the top student in the entire school shows that she would ultimately have to be the one that Souma has to beat to be the new top student. Erina also fully acknowledges Souma's food as good, but refuses to accept it out of her own pride and dislike for Souma's background and cocky attitude during the entry exam. Also, there has been no hint at Souma's own love interest as of yet, only girls that have shown a love interest towards him. |

| HOLY SHIT THE ADAPTION IS SO FAITHFUL I'm in love. I've been looking forward to this for such a long time but the adaption actually blew me away. I wasn't keeping my hopes up because what if it turned out shitty and low budget?? But I was worrying for nothing, it's great so far. I'm just excited for Takumi to show up. Megumi and Erina are both too archetypal imo, but I love NIKUMI. Actually liked Erina in this episode though, surprisingly enough even though I normally hate bitchy tsunderes like her. GLAMSFASjfsdfnbvmldfmasfa The fanservice is a little over the top but I'm pretty sure it'll be toned down soon enough. Not bothered by it too much because it's funny. ALDINI SOON PLEASE |

| Brilliant episode again! I'm at the edge of my seat watching this, and smiling the whole time! I hope they didn't invested too much budget in these 2 episodes.. I don't want to see the quality dropped as the episodes goes on.. Erina looks good, and her assistant is too! Soma's really confident of his cooking skills! He messed around with the God's Tongue like she was nothing! the foodgasm in this episode made me laugh! xD lol that ending! The nerve Erina failed him! Well, Pretty sure he will pass anyway after the old guy at the end tasted his food. Megumi next episode! Can't wait for the best girl! >< |
