| Uhh, I must admit that I found that semi-recap a bit anti-climatic... I expected so much an emotive confrontation, that when that cliffhanger came, I was mad xD Well, now we know that Yuuji have feeling for Shana. I mean, it's obvious that the romance is between the two, but it was never said explicitely as Shana was able to say it. Yuuji to do all this because he want to protect Shana. But how could he protect Shana by becoming her enemy? What have the Bal Masqué planned that is so big that he have to become their leader to save her? I guess the Silver denizen gave him information about the real goal or the ultimate goal of the Bal Masqué. I mean, the crazy scientist said that the real goal of the Bal Masqué was that giant artificial Tomogara, but he's just a minion to them, he probably doesn't really know in the deep the Bal Masqué. |

| Basically a little summary of the previous seasons. Usually I'm not a big fan of them, but in this case it was well done with Yuji as narrator who showed us how he has grown over the course of the show. |

| Still didn't explain how he became this way. I mean, even if Gin is king of guze and he accepted him, how is he hoping to destroy all the tomogara, flame hazes and their seat included? How can he even fight against everyone he knew and defeat Alastor? Other than an ultimate sacrifice and his rule as sole king who guards the order of the world in the end he can't achieve his goal. Recaps were good to reminds us of forgotten key moments yet too long so that nothing really happened in the episode other than build-up. Heck, even slice-of-life scenes in S2 were better than this. Also, with his confession, was Yoshida just disregarded for the rest of the season like that? Like come on! Also, it was pretty annoying how everyone got suddenly and conveniently those mobile phones and started using them instead of bookmarks. No fight with the Shana the next time, obviously, as it's Margery who wants to defeat Gin first. |

| Not a bad episode. Mostly it was Yuji reminiscing. But it also clearly shows how determined he is regarding his new goal. He also admits that he likes Shana now. |
| The slow burn build-up towards the confrontation between Yuji and Shana was great. Considering S3 had come out a whole 4 years after S2, the pseudo-recap episode was both understandable to exist and useful to follow Yuji's thoughts on how far he's come. He's changed a lot, both in power and mind, and this episode illustrated all those changes, plus his determination |
