The forums here isn't too friendly. Most of the people here troll a lot. Serious discussions hardly get good responses unfortunately. If you go through other topics in the casual discussions section you'll find this trend of rude replies in >80% of the replies.
Its better if you reply to any queries (though they rarely come up) regarding the language in threads you come across. Some people are definitely keen on learning seriously. Putting up your knowledge in blogs would also help people who want to learn.
And its really not that all people here know Japanese, few who have learned the language at some point of time might. Just fans of anime who like to imitate sentences spoken in Japanese to kind of show off that they know some words. The forums users are from all different countries asian, european, american. Plus the average age group of forum posters is ~20 perhaps. So most of the people don't tend to discuss things seriously.

To make a blog-> After you log in. Go to profile-> In the dropdown box click on the "Edit" besides the Blog field. You'll be taken to a new page with title "Create a Blog Entry" there you'll have to fill up the "Entry title" and in the "Entry text" you can write anything you want on the topic in your title of the blog.
In the "Entry Anime Relations" you'll have to type the name of any anime and click on the Search Anime button. Some search results would be displayed below. You'll have to choose one. - This field is actually only for some safety purpose to avoid spamming or something. So you can choose any random anime for this.
