Nice! A creative use of his mind reading ability.

man, I have no idea why is this anime popular. It feels the definition of mid. I ask my friend what he thinks of it, he answers mid.
Wholesome but Sakamoto's family is so background that it feels weak, action but no killing rule + one punch man level op undermines any stake of said action, hitman-life balance but apart of action scenes all we see Sakamoto do is nothing, he just sits reading a newspaper or eat instant ramen. Even in the last episode where he rides with his his family he barely interacts with them, he's practically alone. This anime fails at everything SpyxFamily accomplished before it, it's soo boring

Dropped it.
Whole thing is so flaccid. The action isn't good enough to be interesting and the comedy isn't funny enough to be memorable or even make me chuckle.
The rest of the season is just going to follow the same formula as episode 3 with a retarded assassin showing up, failing to kill Sakamoto because of something ridiculous, and everyone's fine at the end and Sakamoto does his gimmick where he eats a snack.
I know this is supposed to be something fun and lighthearted for a certain age group, but god damn dude, even some of them aren't going to stick with it for long.

You cannot convince me this show is not Discount Gintama...

...I love it

(Sakamoto being voiced by Tomokazu, Shinpachi literally having the name "Shin", Kagura just existing, Nagumo sounding exactly like Kamui...the similarities are uncanny)

Another banger of an episode, the family is out on a trip to an amusement park, but assassins are out for Sakamoto. The action scenes were very good IMO, and I loved the Sugar Bunny fight, pretty clever way to get around Shin not being able to see.

After 3 great episodes I'm definitely watching this one all the way through the end of the season.

Bro I was talking about not adapting chapter 2 it actually had a lot of fun moments and characterisation of Aoi as a wife and her relationship with Sakamoto.

Shin really stepped up this episode! With not only a bounty but also committed family time on Sakamoto plate the wonderful Shin took over dealing with the bad guys. A fantastic episode! This show keeps getting more and more fun! I'm loving the cast and the world we're seeing each week now. We did see last episode that the assassin organization put a massive hit on Sakamoto head. The introduction to Nagumo was interesting, his shape shifting almost chameleon like abilities were very powerful. Shin couldn't even read his mind when he was like that, if Nagumo hadn't been so chatty he probably could've stayed like that longer. Shin and Shaotang reaction to his true self revealed and the constant lying was funny. Nagumo loves messing with people. The small time assassins sent after Sakamoto didn't stand even a small chance of doing something. They were handled with ease. Sakamoto completely forgetting about the family amusement park trip. Taking everyone including both Shin and Shaotang along with them. Even some assassins tried doing stuff at the park but those little fish could never, Sakamoto didn't even have to kill him to incapacitate that guy. Shin big fight with the silver haired assassin who used poison was awesome! I loved every second of it, flying around through the rollercoaster, crashing onto the performance stage. Sakamoto using his thoughts to tell Shin all the guys moves. That was so fun!

Two Sakamotos, what's going on here?
Ah, master of disguise. Sakamoto's been made aware of the bounty put on him
Sakamoto and Lu casually eating pizza since the pizza hitman chose to target Nagumo, first.
Lu and Shin are protecting their manager, now. I wonder if the Bunny will be an assassin in disguise.
The cleaner guy is downed, next to try his luck is the edgy guy. Shin is at a disadvantage since he can't be mind read.
The rollercoaster fight was insane, that landing didn't break any ribs? Shin is still going at it while poisoned.
Hero show!
Oh Shin dons the bunny outfit. He blocks all his other senses even sight and relies on Sakamoto in the audience to read the assassin's moves. Sakamoto managed to spend time with his wife and kid and help Shin out in the end.

The 3 episodes rule is over…

It was a nice family episode that started in weird way, but well that’s Sakamoto’s life now lol. This is better than episode 2, which was awful the more I think about it. The content of the episode was alright and cool, btw I feel they removed something here from manga, but someone could jog my memories on this. I am not talking about chapters 2 and 3, I know those already.

Now let’s go into the big criticisms of this adaptation, since 3 episodes are here now.

So the stiff frames with added effects is getting old now. The fight scene was okay. This really needed a better treatment, and btw that filter going on to the art style makes the anime look ugly, they need to remove that completely. The composition looks wack and there’s more to say but I think I made my point so far.

Is this the worse adaptation of all time? No. However is this doing justice to the manga? No. When I was really saying mid before, really encapsulates this adaptation so far the best way. It’s not bad but not good, it’s just average. And before defenders come here and attack me, I care about the manga and I want better. And no I amnot saying JJK2 or DS treatment, that’s so on the nose why you never watched other animes this season either. There are almost 40% animes of this season looking and animated better than this. This is C tier.

I will from now on not say anymore criticisms anymore till the end of this season. Will collect everything and say it on the last episode. I do hope it gets better, but that’s just pure cope.

I think this episode was a turning point for me. Shin's utter badassery really came out and I feel like the show will just keep getting better from here. Looking forward to meeting the whole gang some that we've only seen in the opening and endings so far XD

Things got even more exciting than usual this episode when not only did Sakamoto get a massive bounty put on his head, he also had to spend the day at this show’s equivalent of Disney Land with his wife and kid, definitely a nice recipe for some thrills, get it because it’s an amusement park lol.

And unfortunately Lu didn’t get much action besides enjoying that churro (at least I think it was churro), but Shin was the MVP, he quickly called out the janitor guy using his mind reading power, and later when his power was figured out, he still managed to kick ass by using his power in a different way, I do think it was a bit of a stretch he was able to fight that well while being poisoned but I was still impressed by the way he outwitted this hitman, also the scene was just stupid fun with Shin being in the rabbit costume and the announcer lady doing her job despite the show being botched lol.

And there was also the introduction of that Nagumo fella, I was also confused by how talkative Sakamoto was so I’m glad it wasn’t actually him lol, Nagumo seems interesting tho, looking forward to more of him.

Lu is really cute.
What kind of assassin goes through the problem of blending a poison to kill someone, yet doesn't make said poison deadly? Lame.
Sorry if my english is bad (っ˘▽˘)っ~~~
Btw, cry about it.
