One of my favorite episodes.
The first half is very nice and sweet, Alya in an apron made my day and even Ayano was not so boring as earlier.
The second half with the elections was also interesting, Yuki acted very meanly, i must say that i dont like her much as a character and i dont understand why she is so popular.
Alya is so cute when she sad, although i feel sorry for her.
But damn, Masachika was so cool when he came and fixed everything, calmed Alya and generally just fixed things.
A main character like Masachika is much better than a typical anime whiner mc.
And that Masachika's past... I will not hide the fact that i really like his mother, such a gloomy depressive milf, that's something...
But the fact that Masachika was talanted and tried to impress his mother but she doesnt care makes me think, maybe the adult Masachika is not interested in anything and he does not try because of such a past?
And i didnt quite understand why he lives separately with his father and in a regular apartment. Isnt they had a mansion?
The next episode is the last one. Its sad because i have already become attached to this anime, despite there is bad and boring moments it was fun and i liked it.
But well, considering how popular the first season was, there will definitely be a second one.

Actually he lives in a pretty good appartement since it's a 3LDK (Living, kitchen, dinner room, his room, Yuki's room, his dad's room) the prices of which starts at a monthly 180 000 JPY in Tokyo according to SUUMO. Following the 1/3 rule it means a monthly net income around 54k JPY (his dad being the only one having a salary here)
So don't worry he isn't living like a poor.

So for me the reason why Masachika and his father live separately from their mother and what happened between them (like, when Alya asks Masachika about his family, he says that he lives with his father and "no mother"). Maybe i missed something or it hasnt been revealed in the anime yet. |

I dunno to be honest. They confirmed up to volume 11 so there is at least again 2 volumes but by seeing what volume 9 launched I doubt it will be the end of the story.

Yeah I would probably say 12 or 13 depending on what Gensei has to do with Akemi. Cuz that line in V9 really was sus.
My little theory : Akemi was Naotaka's rival in past elections. That wouldn't lead to a new issue to solve but it would be so good to have a Kujou pairing with a Suou to beat the heiress of the Suou who beated a Kujou years ago. (Akemi could be Naotaka's partner in the elections too but I wouldn't appreciate Alya's win as much as I would if my little theory was correct)

They changed the plans. Only confirmed to go till at least volume 10.
The character ranking vote elected Yuki at #1 and Alya at #2 so according to what they said a couple month ago we were supposed to have Yuki SS in volume 10 and Alya SS in volume 11 but they announced a special volume with the Yuki SS to be out on this winter so we don't know for volume 11
episode 12 preview is out and Alya said the thing in the PV if I'm not mistaken

I think this episode could have been much more, I had the edit that this episode was more to create anticipation for the last one (just like any anime does) but compared to the previous one which is for me the best episode so far, it could have been more
