| another great episode. ngl i wasn't very interested in this part of the manga, but when you have madhouse cinema involved, it's a different story. gotta love that camera movement and ost during fern's fight. get up my boy, stark. ayo madoka really grew up to be a demon lol. |

| Dang Fern was pulling out the spam attacks with absolute speed on the demon. Meanwhile Stark was getting his ass kicked physically and mentally. But his true power is getting up despite getting his ass beat. As dumb as that message is I still love the simplicity of it. Feels like something a real great warrior would have said. Frieren is ready to kick some demon butt herself wouldn't be surprised if a good portion of the episode is on her versus the scale demon. Good animation this episode as always. I really hope they can keep it up till episode 28. |

| Holy moly, that was some episode! Next, we’ve got the main fight, and if this is any indication of what’s to come, it’ll be insane. Disciples followed by the master, anime love these kinds of tropes, and so do I, lmao. Especially loved the scenes of Fern just walking up close to Linie and reading through her opponent’s moves, Frieren-Sensei’s hatred for the demonkind is serious. Shark’s battle was high on the emotions and the scene of him delivering the final blow prior to the sorcery fireworks in the background was way too good. | I had chills. Generational episode. Midjutsu midsen could never. I guess Madhouse are finally over their financial troubles and are back to cooking up masterclasses. It feels good to have a blue blooded anime studio back to their prime. Amazing character acting throughout the episode culminating in an amazing final fight. Both Fern and Stark living up to their masters’ reputations. Can’t wait to see Frieren take Aura out. All of these demons are such incomprehensible monsters. The look on Frieren’s face when Aura said Himmel had been dead a long time, implying there was no need to keep living by his standards. You can say what you want about Frieren, but don’t bring up her boo lol. |

| Demons weakness is that they take everything at face value. They just assume every human will be weaker then them, because for the most part they are. Then when they get in a real battle they can't really adapt, because they are so used to overpowering opponents. They almost feel like robots in that they imitate, but can never really become more as they lack the emotions that other races have. |

| I lowkey wish we could have seen Frieren absolutely anhilate more of Aura's headless army, but I guess we will see more of that next week hopefully. All of the fight sequences from Frieren's to Fern's to Stark's were fantastic. The episode was phenomenally directed and animated and this show continues to be the show I look forward to watching the most every week. |
| I'm very satisfied at the accurate period attire for all the characters. None of the female characters were wearing thongs or lace underneath like most fantasy or isekais would. Fern should at least change from her pajamas though. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Interesting that the fight scenes are much more of a spectacle compared to the manga. The original fight between Fern and Lugner was very static, with much emphasis on the subtle differences in technique, whereas the fight in this version had a lot more movement, and flashier attacks. I really liked that they leaned into the spaghetti western style of duel with the long tension of the initial standoff. I did find it odd that Fern doesn't appear to use any shields for this fight - maybe it was determined that they would be too visually cluttered? In any case, it seems like a fair tradeoff that she seems to be casting some kind of Eldritch Blast-based CIWS instead, so hats off to whoever contrived that. |
| In the end the demons are just pathetic arrogant jobbers haha. Pretty boring villains but they let the main cast shine. And the animation was amazing. Great episode! |
