| this episode felt so fast lol, i got so excited seeing annie back and then boom, it's over i loved the part where all the scouts were fighting off the titans, it felt really nostalgic to the earlier seasons. rip pyxis though, our main three wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him |
| damm bro, i literally cried when Barricades (ost 2nd season) started to play, the animation is more higher i expected for this episode , thats episode mappa make a great work, deserves it. |

There was so much movement and it even had quite a long cut tracking 4 no-name soldiers who were all moving beautifully. Mikasa killing 4 titans in a row was imho better than Imai’s cut of her in S3P1. Would’ve been nice if we could’ve seen this level of animation for Levi versus Zeke in S4E14 though 😔 OH HELL YEAH Mikasa slaying those titans looked really good. The 2D animation was eye candy in this episode, brought back the good old days where all we cared about was the basement mystery.. 2D titans also looked good, they also spiced it up with some cool 2D ODM gear. I personally didn't hate Levi vs. Monkey 2.0 LOL If anything I thought it was pretty good, it's just the colors and the blur (as usual) didn't stand out. The one thing that was well done back then though was the thunder spears and their animation as they were falling down on Zeke. |

They're missing out on some of the core themes of the story.. Her character symbolizes so many important ideas, but somehow some still see her as "the brat who killed Sasha". Couldn't be me. |

| This episode has so many great moments Also got a little emotional when I heard Barricades being played once again I can't believe this is how much MAPPA can improve with just a little improvement to their production schedules. I really want to see a movie made by them now. |

| Best episode so far. This episode had literally everything. I haven't seen such intense action from aot in a while now. Very nostalgic. Great ost. Gabby's character improves. Suspense builds up. Annie finally revealed. The wait till next Sunday is going to be a very painful one. |

| Yay happy to see Floch. Despite almost dying, his expression was so smug lol. I should say it's unbelievable, but I find it amusing how Gabi is basically the 3rd best soldier ever (Levi/Mikasa being 1st/2nd). 13 year old girl has more guts and skill than everyone else. After 2389283 years, Annie has been released from her self-made prison. |

| Every episode is getting better and better each week, Mappa really killed it this week with stellar animation. Gabi is honestly one of my favorite characters in the franchise, she's honestly just Eren from the enemy side. Annie finally escaped after being in dormant for a few seasons, anyways great episode. 4.5/5 |

| Fantastic scenes with Mikasa once again cutting napes. I miss when she did this three times per season, so nostalgic. Music in this episode was better than last one, Gabi once again in her Eren state. How much I used to hate her when the manga was still in this chapter. I still hate her, but for other reasons. Of course Floch survived, his plot armor is as big as Reiner's. Can't wait until he bites the dust. Best girl finally awoke. Next episode seems fillerish from the preview. |
