Hi I'm Alex, welcome to my profile! I'm a fan of anime and visual novels.

I rate shows based on enjoyment, while still trying to implement some critical thinking. This being said, I consider myself pretty lenient with rating shows.

General ratings explanation:
9/10 - Excellent shows. Personal preference bumps up shows to a 10
7/8 - Good shows. Would more confidently recommend the 8s.
5/6 - Average shows. 6s were a fine enough watch throughout whereas 5s dipped in quality infrequently.
3/4 - Bad shows. 4s might be saved by animation or technical aspects but fall flat on story. 3s were bad without those particular saving graces.
1/2 - Bottom of the barrel garbage. 2s are terrible and so are 1s. But with 1s I can't comprehend how they thought adapting it was a good idea, often being frustrating or baffling to watch.

I've noted my opinions on anime I've watched for each anime on my list, if you would like to see. Just for fun. Some are likely outdated and maybe a bit corny. I'm aiming to eventually review everything!
The reviews in question have been marked and I aim to either revise them or rewatch the series if I'm a bit foggy. This all assumes I can get the time to do so! >_<
