Lancer ga shinda!!!

Oh wait, wrong anime. Still, that orbital weapon attack was OP enough to count as a Noble Phantasm. Pretty good show overall.

This one was damn good. Been a while since a trending Isekai has left me this fulfilled. Really hope this gets a 2nd season.

Also, Maha best girl no cap lol

I don't really understand what's the point of the fight between the Berserker. To prove what is Lugh capable of? I've seen that in the earlier episodes. Yeah he is much stronger now, but I think there are other ways to prove that.

Also, I'm still not sure if Lugh really loves Dia or wants her only for the sake of his mission. His reunion with her feels really bland.

clever way to dispatch that berserker dude. i can't decide if it was awesomely anticlimactic or just a massive letdown. i wonder what happens to that spear weapon thing now

we finally meet the actual hero? a little boy apparently

and now he's going to pretend to be siblings with his cousin while fostering a romantic relationship with her. what in the actual fuck. also, we're supposed to believe nobody EVER mentioned that his mom was that girl's aunt before? or the silver hair connection being a family trait, etc? bullshit

some parts of this show are interesting. but it's not great overall. 6/10

so, did Lugh secure the Gae Bolg? or it's missing together with Macness?
regardless, it's fun to watch. I hope there's 2nd season. I want more of this kind of anime. I don't know why the hate just because it's from the same creator that made Redo Healer.

I liked that tungsten spear skill, looked very strong. The ending felt a bit rushed because of the sudden appearance of the maybe-hero guy without any hinting of it happening.

Overall was an enjoyable series, minus that one episode where the girls were taken one by one to get raped by a noble. That left a bad taste in my mouth.

So Lugh won the duel and saved the princess. A happy ending for most of the characters, fair enough! That last scene of the Hero arriving whoa!

It's an okay show but I wish it was more about assassinations rather than magic. Magic in isekais is like a shark in a small fish tank. It's usually so OP that it makes things too easy. Additionally, most isekai protagonists retain their memories and experience so they can be better than everyone else unlike the the normie they used to be in the real world. It just defeats the sense of an adventure.

The main character already retains his skills and talent as an assassin but to make him even more OP he has god tier magic. It would've been better if he didn't retain his memories and started from scratch like everyone else without any magic. At least that way we get to see the struggles and hardships that would define his character and make the show more enjoyable.

There is not much to story or to the assassinations but it was still interesting to watch. The more darker concepts were brushed off to the side as they were less important to the plot. The characters were alright but I don't know why they have to be pre-pubescent teens. And the fact the Lugh is reincarnation of an old man with his memories intact is also kind to weird.

The last episode was just trash. The whole fight was just one sided until Spear hero arrives and even that ended very quickly. I really hope this show gets better if they plan to make S2.

If you don't enjoy overpowered protagonists, you will not enjoy this series. There is no fake struggle here with underdog heroes.

That said, this series is notable for having antagonists just as overpowered as he is (which is the whole reason he's overpowered to begin with).

This was an okay start to the series. I mean, it's nothing eye-opening but there also weren't more than a few major missteps. You get the isekai OP MC and his small harem, and the overarching plot is at least somewhat of an unconventional one--that of stopping the Hero.

I do wish they explored a bit more Lugh's transition. It's always kind of weird when a mentally much older person falls for someone who's essentially a kid to them. I also wish they'd given more ink to Lugh's decision to kill the spear owner as if killing the potential Hero wouldn't risk ending the world. But they at least don't present gaping plot holes and like I said, not a whole ton of bones to pick with this first season.

I suspect a second season will be forthcoming, given how this one seemed to have a decent budget and is clearly setting up for something. I'm curious to see what direction this is headed towards with the introduction of the Hero.

I also wish there was more assassinations' than magic, but I guess that was Día's purpose other than just a love interest.

A respectable Harem series. The guy chooses a girl and he sticks to her; he's not confused nor do his feelings wobble. "I love, Dia and I want to marry her," Lugh said it with no hesitation.

Best girl for me was Maha - smart girl, she read Lugh and their situation like a map and I love that she was outspoken about it.

Overall, a good anime; glad I didn't listen to the reviews.

Alright anime, had some interesting setup with the assassin stuff the first few eps but the rest turned out (in my eyes) to be yet another generic harem isekai instead of Lugh doing high-stakes assassin jobs that actually revolve around the Hero.

She's impersonating his younger sister (in reality she's his older cousin). The reasoning for this is explained a little later.

As for why they can still get married, this country has no laws/taboos against brother-sister pairings (assuming both are mages) since the aristocracy cares about creating more mages above all else.

They apparently left that second bit of explanation out of the adaptation, possibly saving it for the start of a potential 2nd season.

Glad that spear guy wasn't the real hero. The actual hero is actually quite good-looking.. I also wonder if Lugh managed to get his had that legendary spear.

Lugh's father speaks of the hero & the demon lord as if he knows about the rules of these fantasy worlds. Did Lugh maybe tell him about these things? Because that sounded weird in my opinion.

I used to think that Lugh & Dia are siblings before I watched the Anime, and now they are going to act like that. I wonder what will happen to their love story because of that.. I can't wait to see the two work together the way they did in episode 1. Hopefully in season 2.

The demons appear every few hundred years. Everyone knows about them, the hero, and how they interact.

The general mechanics of this world aren't a secret to its inhabitants.

what would have saved them the trouble would have been saying Dia and Lugh are engaged before the civil war started (when he told hes father about hes feelings) then the noble guy who set hes eyes on her would not be a problem, cause that would mean war with Lugh household to meaning the nobles forces would be outnumbered despite having this OP warrior, and he would not want to make 2meany enemies cause who knows how many houses would come to aid Lugh's household

Putting aside that the family is the Kingdom's secret assassin squad and as a result must avoid drawing attention to itself:

Lugh's family is, publicly, an extremely minor noble house. It would've provided no useful support at all from a political perspective.

if they declared their engagement before this mess begun he would have had excuse to get involved despite they usually keep out of political matters (there are always exactions to the rules that we don't know of), ur not much of a fiancée if i leave ur pride in trouble and that would be much worse for hes family rep

so things would have played out differently if after telling that to hes father he would have gone to see Dia and made it official

but does this dude know that they try to avoid political affairs, that's the question

second option visit the dude and tell him to hes face and then tell him back off or next visit will be to claim hes head i doubt he wants to make the boy hes enemy :), and do that in a stealthy way then he cab say he was never there :)

Really good episode. He wasn't able to beat that guy in a straight up fight but he defeated him in his own way. That 'rods from God' attack is frighteningly powerful. That's not a assassination technique anymore but a weapon of mass destruction. I wonder if that guy survived that.

Despite the 'failed assassination' attempt, Dia was brought with Lugh's family and is now his younger sister. lol. Its nice to see Maha again. The real hero makes an appearance but is actually a girl. Lugh should visit her sometime.

This series is a good harem isekai.

Its quite a unique of a show, with guns and gahd the magic system is really good on this one.

Unfortunately there were just points that I didn't really like, the "harem" for example and how Lugh is too boring of an MC. But nonetheless, its a strong 7 for me

Damn! Lugh is inventing all sorts of crazy stuff in this series.

I thought watching the first episode that I wouldn't get hooked onto this series, but I gotta say, I like the whole RPG level grinding type stuff. I looked at recommendations from Mushoku Tensei and I gotta say this recommendation was accurate.

Both Rudeus and Lugh are geniuses and the two of them get teachers that jumpstart their development in magic.

I like how Lugh was able to bring modern things into this world and he was able to live a free life, unlike his other one where he was just a tool.

I'm assuming since Setanta wasn't the hero and Lord Epona Rhiannon still hasn't defeated the Demon Lord that this series will get a season 2 at minimum. Otherwise this will be an incomplete story.

I'm looking forward to it!

She's your cousin, bro. Pick another girl, one who's not your cousin. It's not hard, they're horny.

Besides that, show fell apart a little bit in the last few episodes. If they don't make S2 then it's a waste.

second option: in hes shoes i would kill the person who wants babies with Dia and problem solved

also with the claim on her that hes her fiancé he could just take her away from there and say, i take my fiancé and u sole ur problems on ur own and leave her out of it, the noble that had eye on her wouldn't want trouble, i bet he even doesn't know that their family is assassins and they also wouldn't want 2much attention on themselves so even previous scare tactic should work the first1 i mentioned

Come on, Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru, we spent 12 episodes getting to the actual interesting part? I don't mind build ups, but this is too much. Interesting setup if there is ever a season 2. I would actually bet that the Goddess might be the actual villain later on, but who knows.
