Kugisaki really impressed me in this episode. Her game of chicken was unexpectedly hardcore. She actually might be the craziest of the three.

I do not think there is anything particularly unique about Jujutsu Kaisen but I guess every generation needs their big shounen with recycled tropes. It's just, I am old and I saw one too many lol (maybe it's time to stop watching anime aimed at 15 years old boys...).
It's not unique but it's (usually) pretty fun to watch. I quite like majority of the characters and I especially appreciate that the female characters are not being treated as a fanservice fodder.
But Kyoto arc was whack...as a Kyoto resident I almost felt offended lmao.
I will keep my eyes on the next season and more.

9/10, 2020 AOTY—what else can I say. Even better that the next arc will break the internet.

We don't know what kind of people we truly are until the moment before our deaths.
As death comes to embrace you, you will realise what you are.
That's what death is, don't you think?

Well, it was fun. I didn't care about a single character at the beginning and still don't care. So I decided to focus on the action, because MAPPA nailed it.

Kugisaki and Itadori Black Flash is absolutely dope! Didn't expect even Kugisaki also using Black Flash right there, but I guess she has to power up as well considering the other two has grown stronger, and boi she's not falling behind.

Great conclusion for the 1st season, excited for the sequel and the upcoming movie! 9/10

What can I say more? Jujutsu Kaisen is the best anime of 2020, and is one of the best anime in the last couple of years.

Aside from my fascination with the characters, MAPPA...you really know how to give us a boner with that fantastic and magnificent sakuga. At times, it is at fucking 60 fps, MAPPA thank you so much!

And this episode, I mean Nobara just owns my attention and fascination of her. She breaked out, went crazy mode, and we got to witness one of the coolest female characters I've seen yet. And I can't ask for more (also that Decomposition could make for a great tattoo design).

And we finally got to finish the anime with a BANG. The Tokyo Jujutsus are being recommended as first graders, the status of Yuuji as Sukuna's vessel are in the status quo, and our trio are having a good time.

And after 6 months of tuning, watching, fascinating, and enjoying week by week of JJK...it has now finished. We're gonna get a prequel movie on Winter 2022, and hopefully a 2nd season (Shibuya Arc) by 2022-23.

It has been such a very fucking great ride, and I will definitely read the manga if I have time to.
9/10 for this amazing anime, and hopefully the animators of MAPPA will be paid rightfully for their amazing contributions to this whole season of JJK. I love this anime, and I will wait for its eventual return someday.

Goddamn this episode was fire!! We got a tag team battle with Kugisaki and Itadori, and goddamn it was amazing with the top tier animation and fight choreography! Not to mention the big brain plays that Kugisaki did using her "Straw Doll Technique: Resonance" on herself in order to counter that blood poison technique, she's already one of my favorites along with Maki, Megumi and Itadori. Not to mention I'm kinda lowkey shipping the two of them together (Nobara and Yuuji) given their interactions, but I'm fine with how they are already and since there probably won't be any sort of romance between them in the future anyways.

Even had a feeling that Sukuna was going to eat the finger when Megumi was giving it to Itadori. That sneaky little villain not helping them but taking all the credit lol. And I'm glad those three plus Maki and Panda got promoted to first grade! They really deserved it given how well they fought in the past few episodes!!

Now we're getting a prequel movie and hopefully a season 2 down the road, man I can't wait for what's to come!! MAPPA was the goat with this adaptation!!

Also, wtf is up with all the 1/5 scores for this episode on MAL? I'm thinking these are bots, cause it's highly suspicious that it's getting this many, given how positive the reception for this episode has been.

Dint quite get the meaning of the last conversation between fushigoro and kugisaki, anyone care to explain ?
It relates to how after Itadori ate the first finger, all other fingers began to "resonate", in other words, awaken.

I mentioned the issue regarding the bots in the support thread.

Not only are the bots are messing with the episode ratings, but they are also abusing the number of up votes for anime reviews for popular series like Mushoku Tensei and Re: Zero Season 2 Part 2.

great ending to a great season! can't wait for the future arcs to be animated, hope the quality keeps up!

wish they kept the black flash exposition in the anime because it was pretty cool

nobara is really crazy, i wonder if she had killed someone before from her response to itadori's question...
the action was great and MAPPA nailed those unhinged expressions!
I felt bad for the curse womb brothers, they truly treasure each other and honestly they haven't done much bad stuff here compared to mahito and the rest.

did not expect choso to look this pale but maybe it's the lighting. those guys were really playing a game of life huh. chilling at the beach. playing soccer.

anyway, itadori is the sanest character from the group (trio + sensei) and it was pretty painful how fushiguro didn't want nobara to tell itadori about the fingers resonating and waking those curses while yuji didn't want fushiguro to know about it either...

anyway, now it's time for movie hype!

I started watching this like an another seasonal but when I watched the first episode I liked the Japanese setting, the Japanese curse designs.

The power system is very simple or even lackluster but it's okay.

The training arc was fun because it was filled with action fights and not just boring training.

I was also surprised the level of animation this anime had because of the anime I've watched from MAPPA was so inconsistent from episode to episode even the art style some episodes are very detailed and others like a scribble, so it was a surprise to me.

Also the thicc girls were so hot.

Overall, it's a quite decent series. Great fighting, animations and art work. Non existent and mostly uninteresting plot hurts it a lot for me though. The Junpei arc was great story, but before and after it I wasn't interested in the plot at all, if it even exists as a lot of times I felt the story doesn't have a direction whatsoever. I'm also not sure about the power scaling. Seems like every single character gets a ridiculous power up every fight.

But I liked the finale, so I will bump my rating to 7 instead of the 6 I was planning to give it. Still entertaining enough to watch despite the ton of flaws I didn't like, and wasn't boring, which is a plus. Will be around for the second season which for the sake of it, I hope it will start having a more coherent and consistent plot to follow.

this episode was sooo awesome!!!!!! honestly episode 17 in my heart can never be topped, but the fights and the action and everything about this episode is definitely superior in all senses!!!! i loved nobara and yuji in this episode sm. nobara is such a bad bitch and i love her for that <3 and yuji my little sweetheart was so cool and fought very well!!! those two definelty share the same brain cell esp when they both thought megumi was dead lol. and the ending was so funny and cool!! nobara punching yuji in the face >_< poor yuji but the ending sequence was soooo fucking awesome. love my three bad bitches and babies at the end. i can't wait to see the next mission in season 2, so ready for them to kick ass!!!!!!! love jujutsu kaisen and it ended wonderfully <333 100/10 can't wait for season 2 and the movie!!!!! <3333

Wow.. What a fantastic way to end.. That fight scene of Itadori and Nobara between the two curses is a freakin badass. MAPPA be pulling out that crazy animation really hypes me up every time. Wish they could do that to AOT final season too..

And we got a "to be continued" message to the end so besides the announced movie, there's a high chance of season 2! Rejoice, JJK community!

9/10 for this. Really glad that this shounen manga goes to MAPPA. And I think we can now concluded now that this is the one of the best shounen anime of all time that have ever been animated :)

Half of the episode was finally dedicated to a fight with those two, badass Kugasaki is good Kugisaki xD

what a duo man, it was insanely amazing to watch those 2 fight together, they completely outplayed those 2. I like Kugakisaki even more now, there's no way she could have been any less badass, this episode was straight waifu material, especially after what she said to Itadori.

1st years slay 3 special grades lmao, what a way to end the season! 10/10
And that TBC! Can't wait to see more of these three.

Did Nobara manage to accomplish her own Black Flash as well? Sweet.

That's it. All my complains about Nobara not being as relevant as Yuuji and Megumi in fights died with this episode. She was completely ruthless and managed to kill a Special-Class Curse in the end. I already liked her before this but man, now I totally love her. Also, I don't know why but damn does she look hot when she acts all savage.

Fantastic final episode. As with the rest of tag team fights in JJK, Yuuji-Nobara duo was another example of excellent execution. Not as choreographic as other confrontations but the synergy shown by these two sure made up for it. Simply epic.

Overall, JJK ended up being a pretty nice experience in terms of entertainment. Animation was its main selling point, writing was decent enough and main cast was incredibly likeable as well.
On the other hand, only cons I can find in this adaptation would be its weak OST and the fact of Mahito being kinda shitty as current antagonist. The arc involving Junpei's character was also kinda underwhelming now that I think of it. Dude had potential but was killed off just to make Yuuji's character grow.

Anyways, other than that, I had a great time watching this show weekly.

8/10 - Looking forward to the prequel movie and hopefully, more seasons.
