| I'm actually pissed at myself for not watching this anime sooner and for such a stupid reason; simply because I don't like 3DCG anime. My opinion hasn't change - 3DCG is ugly af - but it works with this anime because they're anthropomorphic so there movements and such aren't comparable to real life. In only 12 eps there is so much emotion and even though this is about animals, I think the situations the characters face can be relatable to real life. Everything about this was perfection to me; the plot, the characters, the way it makes you think deeply about identity and society. 10/10 from me! |

| 9/10 overall. World building needed a bit more work in the first season, but the characterization, production and story were all really impressive for the first season overall. Now that I rewatched this show, I'm excited now to see how the second season is adapted, even with the manga faltering bit by bit towards its conclusion. I had a great time watching this. |

| Come on Legoshi, we all know Best Girl is Juno-chan... End credit scene though, so tem murderer was someone that Legoshi knew... This is Interesting... I'm watching this right after Season 2 Episode 1 just drop, so I'm Hyped... Wow i come into this series with zero expectation, I'm surprised how Great Beastars was... Absolutely Fantastic series, the universe itself was amazing, i love how the Characters act, especially the relationship between the Carnivore and Herbivore... Music was Great, no complain at all.. OP and ED Song was Banger... Holy Cow, it was a Very Good Season... I will give it 8/10 Looking forward to Season 2, now my expectations are really high... |

| I hesitated so much to watch this anime because of the furry clichés but it turned out to be better than I expected and I’m so glad I finally watched it. I was so drawn into the anime that each ep felt like it lasted only 5 minutes leaving me wanting more. The story was gripping and dark. The drama and romance was amazing - the perfect amount. (I’m actually stunned by how good the love story was!) The animation was really good. I know the 3D kinda throws you off at first but you’ll come to realise that it’s not that bad and you’ll get used to it. Actually, out of all the anime I watched that uses 3D, I believe Beastars has the best one out of all of them. You’ll see once you watch it. The art of the OP as well as the song was amazing too. An actual masterpiece! I can’t even begin to imagine how long it must have taken to make it as it’s stop motion but the studio truly delivered! I’m impressed! Finally, I loved every character and their personal stories. You grow to understand each of them and sympathise with them. Even the “antagonists”. They all are complex and have depth with unique personalities. Legosi, Louis and Haru in particular. I couldn’t come to hate the last two as I could see their perspective only too well. By far, my favourite MC has got to be Legosi for his cool and collected demeanour. He doesn’t act too much on impulse and actually thinks rationally before making a move unlike the regular crybaby shonen MCs. His sense of moral righteousness make up for his lack of confidence and low self esteem. Once you see his good qualities, you come to support him more. Finally, I know they’re all anthropomorphic animals but goddamnnn! This is dangerous |
| What a season, this show managed to keep me engaged and on the edge of my seat every episode, shame on me for not jumping on the hype sooner thinking it was some Furry trap that I was going to end up hating. |
| I enjoyed it quite a lot but tbh the "sex scenes" scarred me for life.....at least I know I have no furry predisposition I guess..... I may watch the second season someday, after I forget the trauma lmao |

| Well, the best furry anime so far, but still furry, lol - Legoshi x Hal relation is tiring, too much tiring. - Because Legoshi is a pain in the ass. He is boring as hell, thinks too much, everythig is sooooooo slow with him that even fight scenes become slow. - We can understand all the reason for this in the show, but it dont means it is satisfying to watch. No, it is not. - Hal is another pain in the butt, her fatalism and stupid trauma that made her become a bitch is annoying. - The MC of this show should be Louis, his position, backstory, reasons, are the best, BUT he is also a scum of personality. The direction of this anime was wonderful. PERFECT use of soundtrack. The best cgi anine since Land of Lustrous. But all characters are terrible (and i see comments that some suport chars are even worse in the manga). 6/10 |

| We're ending the first season with Juno vs Haru catfight hmm, the depiction of forbidden love in this show is great Definitely will be watching Season 2 later to find out more about the "secret" character near the end and what happened to Louis |
| Good to see how much Legoshi has grown from keeping his feelings inside to now being honest and also to see Haru to have grown loving him. This season has quite suprised me with how much adult stuff was in this, can't wait to see more and also who the murderer is in the second season |

| I was very conflicted about this anime at start. I found its messages very deep and meaningful, but at the same time I thought maybe this is just author's fetish and I am imposing depth into it without any reason. In the end, that does not matter because I found this very enjoyable to watch. The part that proved it to me was the episode with the Hen who tried to make her eggs tastier. Such an interesting perspective to look at the idea where animals have a human-like society and keep their personalities. |

 Ah that confession was perfect:) This was a damn good show and I have to say I fricking love Haru's character. Actually all three lead characters were so well-written.The OP slaps and I like how the ED's change so often. 8.5/10. First time I've loved the CGI animation in an anime. Oh no Louis(It's BOUND to be him).He might have become a drug addict. Shit's been wrong with his head since episode 11. |

| Typical sentimental and superficial anime for a female audience. Chosen demographic audience does not match with a core concept just like Penguindrum. In the end of the day this anime is no better than "Rent a GF" in terms of exceptionally disgusting fetishes heavily powdered with bitter-sweet romantic and lack of actual meaningful events. In short: NTR, furry, fanfic-tier story, author is pathetic and made it because of her father's influence, case closed. |

| I really like how Legosi is portrayed with anxiety / depression. He constantly has to grapple with it. An addition to his I like how he says at the end that he is a dark minded person and why someone as bubbly as Juno isn't what he wants. |

| Loved the cliffhanger leading into season 2. A great series; I couldn't help but binge-watch after the first episode. A different story, and plot with a unique presentation. Not sure why I waited so long to watch this. |

| I've had this series in my "Watching" list for five years. FIVE YEARS! Back when this first aired in 2019, I couldn't get beyond the third episode. I don't even recall the exact reason why other than I just wasn't vibing with it. However, I do remember being incredibly impressed with the animation. The characters' movements were some of the smoothest I've ever seen, & the same thought struck me again today as I was marathoning those last nine episodes. I still think that the animation is gorgeous! I'm glad that I decided to give the series another go rather than dropping it or moving it into my "Plan to Watch" list. I mean, after five years, it was time (as some crudely say) to either "Shit or get off the pot!" I ended up really enjoying the story this time, tho. I hope that will continue into Season 2. |
