| Not that the anime's animation is bad but I prefer the manga's artsyle more than the anime's. Other than that I really have no complaints. It was perfect and I'm glad BONES picked this up. Hopefully the quality stays consistent throughout the season. |

| Hm, just your typical shoujo story. I'm only interested because Shirayuki's rule as a herbalist though. Not bad first episode, just alright I guess. [s]nevertheless watching Zen is a real treat for my eyes |

| IT'S FINALLY HERE!! YASSS. Alright, so, to talk about the episode. First impression: the art is amazing. No doubt about that. From the posters that I've been seeing going around I was worried about how they were going to animate this but they did exceptionally well. I was constantly amazed by the scenery and the animation on the character movements and such. At times though, the characters kinda looked off at certain angles. Nothing too bad that will bug me. I'm glad they relatively stuck to the manga. I actually enjoyed the store scene. It's nice to see her in action before having to wait a couple of episodes. The voices for the characters aren't bad either. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing FukuJun as Raji; he plays him so well xD Shirayuki and Zen's voice are pleasant on the ears and Kiki sounds just as her character personality is. Mitsuhide's voice wasn't as I was expecting it but it's not bad. The ED actually OP song is nice as well. I wouldn't mind having to listen to it before getting to the episode. The background music suits the theme of the anime too. It really makes me feel like I'm actually in the story and not just enjoying the ride, which is always a good thing. All in all, this anime exceeded my expectations. Coming from someone who read the manga, I am really happy with how this is going. Excited for the next episode (which I think Obi's finally going to make his appearance Cx)! |

| Very well done first episode, they allude to the original Snow White story while mixing it up to be more original very well, and got through it all without feeling like we were being cluttered with information. This show has one of the best first episodes of the summer, and it definitely has my full attention. |

| This show is perfect <3 Loving the voice actors for Zen and Shirayuki (Same as the leads from Yamada and the Seven Witches). Also really digging the visuals/animation and the OST. Really gives a Disney feel to it. Shirayuki <3333 |

| "We have white hair, blue hair, yellow hair- wait the entire rainbow minus red. How dare you be red. Oh, how strange." That's what I feel whenever someone questions Shirayuki's hair. Anyways, the show itself is enjoyable and charming. I like the setting and I like Shirayuki quite a bit, she's a boss. Zen and the others are nice, too. Some of the dialogue felt cheesy but who cares. |

| Man i remember trying to read this years ago i still have it in my bookmarks lol never got pass the first chapter,but this was a nice start animation/visuals were great. ill keep watching i like the MC plus even though Hayami Saori is getting so many roles now adays she does a solid job so i'm cool with it |

| I like Shirayuki.. she's more likeable than Yona or even Nike (so far). Of course it helps that she's voiced by Saori Hayami's goddess voice. I thought it has nothing to do with which one has higher status but rather the act of poisoning another country's prince can be regarded as an act against the nation itself. I mean I assume it'll still be a huge incident if say, the crown prince of Japan assaulted prince Harry. |

| Thoughts for this Episode: Okay the adaptation was good and the animation was alright. The OST and ED or OP was also good. The story really reminds of of Akatsuki no Yona. Maybe Because of the red hair? Well, I'm really gonna watch this show every week to find out more! |

According to ED (OP), she's going to join the kingdom? lol @ the CMs for the manga. That was so fun. Him aside I found Zen and Shirayuki to be sweet. Not insta-feels like other couples bring but it was sweet nonetheless. |

| I hope this gets better. I wasn't a huge fan of the characters. They all felt really cliche and unoriginal to me. I liked the animation, but if the storyline doesn't get better, I'll probably end up dropping this one. Obviously since it was the first episode, it's unreasonable to expect character depth from the get-go, but I hope there's some serious character development/depth introduced later. |
