What isn't usually done is a decent and interesting explanation of the effect or what may have triggered it; what is almost never done is a good explanation of this. That could be said of many other generic concepts writers simply throw into their works at their own convenience. With this in mind, I naturally thought that the side effects on the other witches is a logical jump that has decent potential in this show. Definitely interested to see how things progress from here. Not sure that this episode necessarily changes my current view of this show, but it definitely brings in a lot more potential than I saw beforehand. |

I think with Brynhildr it's a shot in the dark at this time. it could be anywhere between a 7.2 and a 8.2 depending on how it is all presented from here on out. There are certain things we can say with high certainty won't change, i.e. the art and audio. The OP is excellent, the rest is not memorable and the voice acting is decent. The art is fairly generic, personally I'd take Elfen Lied graphics any day over these. I'd say a fair average for the audio would be a 7.5 and art a 7. So you can see already that, by rough estimates, the entertainment, plot, and characters will really have to develop well for it to go beyond an 8. Personally, a couple I'd consider would be isshuukan friends and Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei. I can't see either gettign anywhere below a 7.7 at this point unless they really **** up. Both are sitting on 8's atm and I get the feeling the later hasn't gotten into full gear yet. As much as I'd love to go into detail about all the shows I'm watching, this isn't the right place so I'll leave it at that. |

| Have to say, really great episode. This series just keeps getting better with each episode, can't wait to see how this fight turns out. I'm guessing Saori's second power will be the plot armor to keep Neko kicking, the way they blatantly skipped over letting us in on that part of the conversation before they hit the lab kinda screams "I'm useful and you're gonna need me". The third button deal will probably be withheld for a bit longer, it'll probably be some kinda major development towards the ending or something. Especially since it seems this will copy Elfen Lied with an anime original ending. Personally I'd like a second season to this, keep it going since the manga is still going, that kinda thing. 10/10 here!! |

| still haven't got tired of the OP :) just great that saori is a badass girl... just wondering how will kuroha survive with all that blood spilled also.. i know it is consistent with the story, but isn't his eidetic memory just way too convenient? if i was writing the story, i would somehow mention that in the very beginning, so it doesn't feel like they are changng the rules in the middle of the game don't kill and then ressurect kuroha pls, if she lives she lives, if she dies she dies |

| The pacing of this anime is way too fast. All the darkness and gloom needs more drama and more time to let it sink in, but this moves on steroids, I think it's amazing but the pacing hurts it a little bit... Don't you think? |

| She can't be dead...or at least not for long. There's also the matter of the third switch and the "Secret" ability of that chick...who knows what it is. If they indeed did kill her off right as the main character finds out that it's really her childhood friend...then fuck this anime. |
