I've watched about 20 this year. Mainly European/Japanese stuff. I'm slowly getting my way into the works of acclaimed directors like Bergman, Kurosawa and the like. The past month though, I've blown my leisure time entirely on gaming. Re-playing some classics as well as playing stuff from the previous years.

Any movie(s) that particularly blew you away?

Life's​ keeping me busy and all. Actually I came back since one of my friends wanted some anime recs.
Tried reading a few manga this past month, and actually found a really good one named Saturn Apartments. Folks here tell me that anime is still the same old, same old. Hence gaming or movies is a safer option atm

I'm doing fine.
Even though I came back to mal, still can't watch anime without getting bored haha

btw you planning on completed nobunaga concerto soon? Despite its abrupt ending it was such a fantastic series and it really has so much potential to be a classic if it gets a continuation(seriously i demand one it would be 9/10 worthy)

yeah parasyte is really fucking good, though im somewhat worried it'lll end up getting a bit hurt in my eyes later on, its just kind of a though been going around in my head so hopefully i wont be let down by it.

Garo is a really underrated gem though that you best keep an eye on, its start is off putting to some cause it takes a little while to get its plot going(justifiable as its looking like its a 50 episode show split cour like jojo part 3 is) but man once its plot got going it blew me off my feet, its been a really long time since a show has completely caught me off guard in the direction its taken and garo is pretty much on the fast track to greatness at the moment. even though parasyte is a better show im much more excited every week to see where garo is going instead. Definetly consider giving it a watch.
