| Wow! Didn't expect the first episode of this series coming back from the break to have so much impact! Drama! Drama everywhere! I thought that Tsumgu and Chisaki were a pair from the beginning of the episode with that living together and the "housewife" line but it was a misunderstanding :< Looks like even more drama is gonna appear! Maybe Manaka comes back as well? Next week can't come fast enough :I |

| Chisaki is now 5 years older and on a nursing school. Also the opening was just amazing, I couldn't wish for a better opening than that, the ending was also nice but again to much Manaka, who knows what it means, I don't know. I was really shocked after seeing the timeskip, because i never knew that something like that would happen even after seeing the preview video of the next episode. Miuna has grown older now, so another shipping could be Hikari X Miuna, maybe Hikari x Chisaki even if she is 5 years older, Kaname also can get another shipping pair. The last minutes were so intense, I don't know how to explain my reaction, I was kinda very very excited to see that, and then Hikaris reaction, as he see that everyone has changed. I really can't wait for the next episodes........ |
| Show pairings are probably going to end up as: Chisaki x Tsumugu (seems almost certain at this point) Kaname x Sayu (most likely?) Miuna x Hikari (seems very unlikely) My hypothesis is that Manaka is probably not going to show up until towards the later end of the shows (possibly epi 20+). In addition, I'm not entirely sure on the Miuna x Hikari. It is pretty accurate right now to assume that Miuna loves Hikari, but he's probably going to tell her something along the lines of : "I still like Manaka..." but nonetheless I am pleased with this episode and the wait time! Excited for the new time skip :) |

I mean, they showed subtle hints for both of them when they were kids and now they've grown up together throughout their teenage life and are now adults. That's a lot to go through together. In fact, there were a few times I thought they were already married, especially with Chisaki cooking and her helping Tsumugu pack and everything. Yes, Chisaki had a crush on Hikari when she was a kid, but times change and people mature. Also, Chisaki already knew it was going to be unrequited when she confessed to Hikari that night all those years ago. She knew he loved Manaka. Also, there's the issue of the fact that Hikari hasn't changed at all in 5 years. He still has the mind and body of a preteen. Not only do girls mature and get through puberty faster, but now Chisaki and Hikari are on just two different levels. She's either through with or in the last stages of puberty, Hikari is at the beginning. Chisaki is an adult in college, Hikari is still a middle schooler/junior high. That's a very large gap both mentally, physically, and in maturity. I mean would you as an 18-20 year old, really still be interested in a 13-15 year old? It's two completely different levels of life. |
| The OP is so heartbreaking. I'm glad that Chisaki found a new family. And it's Tsumugu's. (MY SHIP!!!) This episode was great. Nice way to start their second half. |
| Never thought the time skip would be so long but wow!!! This episode has opened another can of relationship circles. With Miuna probably being Hakari's age now, I only see further problems for her. Considering how tough her life's been already, it's not the greatest time for this to happen (not to mention Hikari shouting out Manaka! oh looorrrd) Only adds for even juicer drama though, so glad I chose to watch this anime, everything about it fits so well with each other. |
| Pretty drastic change. So much good drama in this episode, but still a bunch of things left unexplained like why Hikari returned and exactly what happened to everyone else in the sea. |
| My feels are overflowing. Almost cried during the Chisaki scenes. She's so precious. I'm guessing Kaname will return later on as well. Also, damn. This love polygon is CRAZY! So many one-sided loves going on. Idk who to root for but I can finally see Tsumugu and Chisaki happening as well. I would be okay with it. Those of us watching this show probably don't realize the roller-coaster we got on since episode one, and the ride gets more intense as time goes by and it's beginning to scare me when the climax hits and the resolution sets in. People will be angry, people will be sad, maybe some even might be happy. But we can probably agree this is one of the best written shows in 2013 -2014. True say ^ |
| This anime is getting more sad. :( I don't think what happened to Hikari can be considered the hibernation everyone was preparing for. Not only was it such a short amount of time, but conditions look worse than they were five years ago. Not to mention that he woke up on the surface, which seems more like a rejection from the sea than a welcome back. Hikari x Manaka... Not going to happen any other way. :) |

| This series has evolved from "I'm going to drop this if this doesn't get better next week" to "I can't wait for next week!" The character development, the storytelling, the twists...oh my. This whole hibernation thing is just sad. They're literally frozen in time. Five years have passed on the surface but for those who were frozen, it was as if it happened only...well a couple of minutes ago. The last thing Hikari saw was Manaka getting sucked under and poor Kaname's last memory was seeing Chisaki hugging Tsumugu. And now she's five years older than him...the gap just keeps getting bigger. My KanamexChisaki ship is about to sink. Plug the holes and ready the bail buckets! :( Well Sayu might be interesting but still... Hikari x Miuna seems unlikely (though cute) but I bet there's gonna be so much Miuna-drama. Manaka's annoying but I can't just ship Hikari with anyone else. |

| I'm soooo, so happy there was a time skip. Seriously. I chose 4/5 because I think they could have explained things a bit better in this episode, so it was still a great episode and I know they're going to expand on it in the next few. I really want to know what happened to Manaka. |
