| The backstory of Kage was entertaining but not really that sad, seems pretty much by the book way of creating a drama by killing both of his parents, somehow the story fall flat because you know what will happen next and the expression of Kage and the overall atmosphere wasnt enough to carry it, but I would like to see Kage meeting the girl that saved him, could be interesting. The way it constructed such sentiment to the end of the episode was excellent though, the facial expression of Bojji was wonderful to see. The animation is extremely beautiful to watch at honestly |

| I really love this anime!!! Kageyama and the Prince makes me cry :( I want to protect the babies T-------T Kageyama at first is annoying but after seeing his backstory, I understand now why he's like that :( I hope the Prince will get better and defeat this older brother!! |

| Well, looks like ousama ranking finally picking up some attention its needed, even though its comes from some fools that understand only about this episode as 'tear bait' bullshit reason. Bruh, idk how human can be that naive and suddenly become high while facing against this out of nowhere show. To me, this is just some classic story about an inability prince and a mere shadow. That's it. This is not isekai. This is not even an action packed shounen series. Not even show full of cute girls and fan services. Imagine how can someone be that low to writing that bullshit reason against this? Sigh. Whatever. Person can have that bad matters, i forget it sometimes. So, yeah, end of it. But, honestly, Wit Studio really know how to pick up a good thing. They really got their attention to shitting this, lol. Anyway, back to these episode, this is an explosion start. Explosive enough to building up their precious beginning. Bojji was so precious. All of the loyal one and the guards still hands-in their pride as a warrior, dodging all over wasn't good to defeat the enemy alone. Dodging style isn't suit well with their swordmanship style. So, yeah, poor Bojji. But, Kage understood all Bojji's feeling, because its suit well with his black background. That's it, nothing complex. Now, for the sake of their goodness, looks like the inevitable journey must come to them. Or no? Well, whatever it is, lets see what else people reason to shit on the next episode. |

| I can't believe this made me cry. I never imagined Kage would have such a tragic past and Bojji was completely robbed in that fight and Domas will forever be a clown in my eyes. I really hope Bojji ends up proving them wrong one day.. |

| It was touching and heartbreaking at the same time. I never cried watching two consecutive episodes of one anime, it beat Fumetsu no Anata e for me. How Kage got emotionally attached to that guy even though he treated him rudely. He was after all the only person who helped Kage in the most hardest time. Now that's the beginning of Bojji and Kage's heartwarming friendship. Can't wait to see their development. |

| This show really pulls on my heartstrings,I was so emotionally invested in everything from Kage’s backstory,to boiji’s fight,and the ending where he breaks down after Kage acknowledges him as a friend. This is really a one of a kind anime. |

| Kage's past must've been tough. Tried to trade his toy for an apple but failed and losing his precious toy in the process. Got abandoned by the thief who he cared for and witnessing him getting killed afterwards. At this point I'm just keen to know how the duo of Bojji and Kage will develop in this anime. Was an emotional episode. |

| that shit hurted more than the manga even... i guess that's what happens when you're given a much more grand portrayal of kage's fking tragic childhood, i was this close to shedding a tear... but no. not now. and this motherfker daida, this dude, the sound effects of him beating on his own brother until he's wrapped from head to toe in bandages. execute him i would execute half of the cast in this episode alone actually. splendid animation at the end. |
| Which was the most emotional? - Cliché orphan tragedy. 2/5 - Kage being so needy that actually symphatized for that horrible scumbag. 4/5 - Kage eyes losing the innocence. 4/5 - Boji happy for have a friend. 10/5 Happy moments are the most emotional to me, by far. |

| It feels like it's been a long time since I actually cried because of an anime and when I saw Bojji cry at the end.. I immediately cried T-T When he tried to do the best he could but it was "wrong" and he ended up losing.. it must be very frustrating for him. Kage and Bojji's moment at the end was so touching that I couldn't help but cry, I hope they both can continue to support each other. Also, I like Poise. She looks a little odd and creepy but I think she's a nice girl. Oh and thanks Apeas, you have indirectly saved Bojji. If the sword fight continues, Bojji might have a more serious accident. |
