You've also got OP 2 which hinted that the Beast Titan had different forms in the past. Some more foreshadowing. Freedom is obviously the main theme of the series and flying symbolises that more than anything. Hell, the survey corps logo is "The Wings of Freedom." Isayama isn't pulling this idea from nothing. This is just off the top of my head as well. There's most definitely more hints if I were to look into it more lol There's a possibility that Zeke will give the other titan holders his spinal fluid and that will give them beast abilities. This is maybe hinted at the s2 opening. |

| Interesting chapter. Finally, no amount of talking will stop Eren from moving forward. He is truly every bit the attack titan. 'If you want to stop me then you have to kill me.' Armin and the others will have to make a hard decision from here on. They are free to do so with Eren practically saying there will be no hard feelings whichever decision they make. Now, I want to see Falco in titan form willing himself to sprout wings. I'm not saying it's impossible given the history. I'm doubting that he can just easily will himself to do it. As far as I can remember, this will be the only third time he'll turn into a titan. And turning into one and having your consciousness in that early stages won't be easy. Remember, when Eren attacked and hurt Mikasa? It took Armin to doing something drastic to pull Eren's consciousness out. And that's Eren we are talking about. He has the strongest will out of all of them. I'm not saying Falco is weak but he doesn't have the same will as Eren. He even attacked Pieck's titan form in chapter 129. So, willing himself to sprout wings... I'm not so sure about it especially they're in the middle of the sea. Well, maybe Gabi and Annie will help him out. but given the situation yes, there's a high chance the boat will sink next chapter. And Levi's fingers has grown back! The miracle of the sands (paths) It's actually very convenient for eldians to be honest. It also seems like Levi is fully recharge and ready for battle. Make me wonder if he washed his face with some sands would the wound heal, too? |
| Maybe I need to reread the chapter, but can anyone explain how falco would be able to fly, If I'm not mistaken falco has the power of the jaw titan right? So how he would be able to fly, if beast titan had a prev form of flying. I seriously don't wanna buy the excuse of spinal fluid and stuff. I seriously can't seem to understand this. The only way would be to eat Beast Titan. Can someone please explain? |
| So much happened! We finally learnt more about the the female titan. Falco's bird-like titan also got explained. Reiner understands Eren the most right now. I really love their relationship. If it weren't for the war, they could have been so close and wholesome. Eren and Ymir both look alike. Eren didn't take anyone's freedom to act. I had forgotten that Ackerman people were Eldians. Levi wanted to kill Zeke instead of Eren. He still cares about him. Well, Levi has been like an older brother to Eren. (I'm sorry, I don't see romantic tension between the two. I think Armin and Eren have more of that instead.) So, Eren's plan is indeed similar to the Zero requiem, but I think it fits the characters and the build up. Does anyone remember the happier times when Eren got his teeth kicked out by Levi in an oddly erotic way? |
| I don't understand why people are complaining about Falco and not Annie's titan. There was foreshadowing for it, you may not like it, it may be a bit ridiculous, but it was properly written. But saying that that the Female titan main power is to copy other titan abilities when Falco just said he gained a little bit of the beast power by consuming it and when Eren gained hardening a while ago... How is this special? Does it mean that she doesn't need to consume the spinal fluid like the others and will gain it by eating any part? And it wouldn't hurt to hint it on some flashbacks or hell even 5 chapters ago or something... |
| Of course the airships won't stop the rumbling. We are yet to see what Eren's new titan does. He might even annihilate them in a single sweep... So Eren made it clear: Either they try killing him and end the rambling; or he flattens everything and only leaves Paradis. So he's basically on autopilot-mode now and whatever happens next, he won't care? Kind of strange decision... |

Basically the beast titan can change his form according to his personality. For Zeke's case we have seen him playing with a monkey toy in his childhood that resembles his beast titan form: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D9Oj9rYXsAAyj_O.jpg And with the explanation in the chapter about the spinal fluid and Falco's bird-like titan which is in itself a great foreshadowing there's also a couple more like his name is an actual type of bird (Falcon), and the fact that in his first appearance we have seen him talking to a bird like wishing he could fly and have wings to get away from there: "Hey you, It's dangerous here, go fly... Somewhere.. Far away. You got wings so use them". (chapter 91) So I think this is by far top 3 most crafted foreshadowings I've seen in SNK. |

Female Titan's true powers were never actually revealed, but going back we can see that she does have powers similar to other titans (Zeke's scream, Warhammer's crystal, Reiner's hardening). Also the reveal semmed very Isayama-like, so I have no problems with that. Granted, it is probably true and has been shown before without explanation that ordinary shifters can also do the same up to some level (the various serums in Rod Reiss's cave is an example). But memory transfer has never been mentioned, nor foreshadowed (they should have at least shown something when Falco was asleep). That's why I thought the flying titan reveal was bad. If every titan can have a fraction of the other's power then this is not the Female Titan power is just a thing that titan shifters can do in general, therefore, unless she can copy more easily the female titan still doesn't have any special power. We will only know how it actually works when she shows up again but he could've hinted it in that arc where they were still training, now it'll be revealed 3 or so chapters before the ending... This smells like a planned scapegoat and maybe a Deus Ex Machina if it turns out her powers can do more than copy or if the can copy the founder or something. But the memory control is the whole deal with the royal family, King Fritz modified everyone's memory when they got to Paradis, the Founding titan and consequently Eren has this power, by touching Historia he could use it and he even proposed to modify her memories not too long ago. Zeke is a member of the Royal family so, while I agree we should have at least one page for Falco's dream I think it's pretty foreshowed. Eren powers is sending memories to the past, he said Armin's fellings for Anne are from Berthold and didn't Ymir said she remembered stuff from the previous jaw titan as well? ...I'm not sure now, but anyway, memory transfer has been a thing for ages. The thing people (not necessarily you) are upset about is the ability to fly which, as some post before already said, was foreshowed. I think Anne's case is bad writing, a single hint for her actual power and not the experiments could be placed at chapters where they were warriors and it would solve it (I'll reread it later), if her powers turns out to be crucial to defeat, save or whatever happens to Eren, then it's gonna be BS and if it's just copying the Female Titan wouldn't have a exclusive power (Isayama sexist confirmed lol). Falcon's case was properly written but people are upset for the thematical change (I guess?) or because flying in itself is BS....? If Falco had inherited the Beast titan I think people would be less upset, but getting it's powers by drinking spinal fluid was too much for some reason... Edit: it's Galliard who explicitly says he has memories from Ymir (93) and I couldn't find any hint for Annie's real power nor any foreshadow for Falco after he becomes a shifter on my fast reading |

| Well, at least now talk with Eren is out of question. Mikasa and Armin need to accept as soon as possible that they will have to kill Eren to stop this genocide. A flying titan? I think is too much convenient for them to suddenly find that a flying titan exist, but ok. |
| Eren proved to his friends that his alliance with Ymir can't be broken in other way than killing the Founding Titan's holder (which is Eren himself). He also explained why he didn't use his special abilities as the Founding Titan. Free will was the reason. It was very interesting to see Eren so calm about being able to reach freedom, but at the same time he was able to share his resolve to his friends and he was able to explain everything to them. Heh, the mechanism behind various Titans having extraordinary abilities, not really corresponding with their type, has been explained. Falco is gonna become a flying titan? If so, then I'm hyped to see him in action! :D Liberio's rebellion succeeded, as I see! I'm glad that Annie's father managed to gather a lot of people on the train straight to that Fort Salta. An all-out attack of zeppelins have been launched against Eren and the Rumbling, eh? Is it the last card that the World outside Paradis might play in this game? |

This series seems to be saying superpowers aren't a good idea/more likely than saving the world someone with superpowers would be a villain. Welp, Annie's plan to fly via the Beast Titan's powers is interesting. Eren's been hyped up like Moriarty though... Reminds me of some other series where it's mostly talking an absent foe to death/hype. Young Eren looking like Ymir is pretty cursed. | Please I hope it doesn't take decades to kill Zeke to stop rumbling because Eren's intention to avenge his friends doesn't seem to be working. Also everyone admitting their own sins was truthful of them and Levi sure wants to kill Eren especially the fighter spirit he has in his own ability. | So this chapter revealed that not only Annie's father is alive, but basically the families of all still alive warriors are with him on that train. Mrs Braun, Mr Finger. So despite the Rumbling has long past Liberio the warriors can still reunite with their dears. If any of them survive till the end ofc |
