| Pleasantly surprised, this is looking really good. Good designs, likeable chars, nice atmosphere, and it has soul. Also gives me a lot of Bleach vibes. This is pretty much looking to be my personal AOTY, if it keeps being this good. |

| Fantastic first episode. Humor, horror, action were all spot on. Characters were great. The comedy scene at the beginning with the teacher reminded me of Urusei Yatsura. This is the blend of humor, horror and action that we need. If it keeps up, and the Higurashi remake turns out to be good, this could be a great season for horror. |

| Damn this first episode really looks good. I had problems with the pacing of some scenes but I enjoyed it. I got some good laughs here and there. Especially on the part when Itadori said if he can eat the freaking finger lol. I have high hopes with this one. I hope MAPPA can deliver with the rest of the season since this looks promising. 4/5 |

| Great passing until the plot happens. So many overused tropes. The power level is too high. MC is a god. All the remaning story will just be BS since the MC can do anything the plot want's it too do. It's a special effects anime, but even those weren't that impressive for the frist episode. |
| Wowowowow. That was nice, it's been some time that I watched an episode within a quick flash of time not paying attention to anything else, like phone etc., but only the anime because it is fun and interesting. I hope this will continue with this series! *thumbs up* Need more like this! |

MAPPA has tons of good adaptations so GOHS really has no place in judging the pace of an adaptation for the studio. |

| This...is very good. After an amazing showing with their adaptation of Dorohedoro, I was looking forward to this when it was announced that MAPPA was animating this (I was already interested, but that made me even more interested), and I wasn’t let down, so far, but that depends on if the source material goes downhill or if MAPPA butchers the adaptation later on. I am a little bit late, but I really enjoyed this first episode. Can’t wait to see more of this. 4.5/5 for this episode. It’s MAPPA, a studio I really like thanks to their Dorohedoro adaptation, so, is there anything more to ask? |
