If I had've been reading it weekly for years rather than having binged it I might be invested enough to defend it but it completely fell off a cliff around the time it turned into a Korean Dragon Ball homage. The author even apologized for it turning into a confused mess with no coherent story during the Ragnarok saga. It's the pure essence of a story based entirely on cool/'epic' stuff happening all the time and that's it. And that's fine I guess but it's also not something that can run for like 7 years without people looking at the whole body of material and coming to the conclusion that it's a pretty dumb mess of writing. |

How was the story? Only focuses on fighting. Red Ribbon fights, searching for Dragon Ball, etc. Was his backstory anything good? No, it's utter shit. What makes DB so good then? The comedy, fights, artwork, paneling. Story still shit, it was fun to read and watch but the story was shit because it had none. Same goes to GotHS, 6 episodes in and we're given zero, I repeat, ZERO information on ANYTHING at all. All we know is, there's an organization with apparently beyond normal people in it, a cult that has ZERO information other than they are evil, MC who thinks stronger=cool, no backstory other than dead but alive grandpa cliche. If you think this is world building, then holy fuck DanMachi must be god tier in world building and Log Horizon must be beyond Godlike. |

Right. 350/450 (and 5/6 sagas completed) is definitely "the middle" and I'm sure it got so much better during the unfinished final arc after being bad for several years straight. | I'm not looking forward to the future episodes. How are they going to fit all of these characters with just 7 episodes left? From simply martial arts into the supernatural without proper exposition, I'm quite pessimistic on how will it turn out. |

| I honestly like this episode as it is more on exposition which this show needed. And they finally named those powers that Commisioner Q (R.I.P.) and that blue haird cunt had. Charyeok which harnesses the power of God's more or less, interesting. F for Sim though, he seemed pretty cool from the short time we saw him outside the tournament. One of the better episodes for me personally, hope they keep it up. |

| This is getting goofier and goofier. So the powers are using legendary figures and gods? Oh, yeah, that legendary clown with a scythe. I remember him from uh... And the names on the six. What kind of theme is that? And the bunny suit. Was there even anyone to hide from? He revealed himself in public to his target. What was the point? Anyone else notice almost every team has two guys and a girl? I get the feeling they didn't think long about most of them. |
| this episode reignited in me some type of hope for this show, wish they keep it at this pace and not that rushed and also felt refreshing the new stuff introduced. If everyone has powers can't wait to see what type of shit the main cast will pull. honestly series next episodes has become very interesting despite the fails in the past. |
| I’ll watch one more episode just the sake of it, and that’s it... The overall pacing of the series has been awful... It also lacks interesting characters and any kind of world building. At this point, I doubt things will get any better. This has been a mediocre series from the very start, and with each episode, I find myself enjoying it less and less. |

| Dude wtf was that scene of the main protagonist describing himslef? The only logical way of this scene be created is that author felt like he wanted to have the most generic shounen character of all time. At least I'd definitely write something like that if someone described me they wanted to be over the top generic. Also, this whole dark subplot feels like the author is trying to create a more interesting story, but is just failing in even get the attention of the viewer. I honestly don't understand how there are still so many people defending the state of the plot of this show. Just watch the show and the flaws are right in your face |

There were definitely a few fast episodes, but what people are failing to see is that this show isn't really about a tournament. It's about everything surrounding the tournament. I get that we might have trouble connecting with the characters now, but I think it's something that builds with time. Is this the greatest show of all time? No. But I think it has the chance to build up very well with time. I wish this show was getting 24 episodes because I think that would really help eliminate a lot of the criticism. |

| I see people are being really mean on this show and I want to say were you guys expecting 10/10 performance from this just because it is made by MAPPA or it got big attention? Dude seriously, there is already hundreds of shounens and there will be nothing pure original anymore. Think about a %100 original idea right now. You can't right? I think people criticize the series just because they're favourite manga isn't getting adapted. |

| Finally, an episode that allowed the viewers to breath a little! A lot of answers were given and a few more questions popped up. It was crazy that in one episode, two powerhouses were killed offscreen (although I wouldn't be shocked if one of them was a fake death). Starting next episode there will probably be non-stop battles and here's to hoping that they are good fights. |

| I'm really not sure why they waited until halfway through the series to introduce any semblance of an actual story or plot. Going this far without any actual investment into the characters makes it hard to care when they're being killed off... |

| I personally also think it was an interesting episode. The cult got active again and found out about the location of Moris grandfather where it came to an fight. I like the fact that the national tourney will be a 3v3. This means Mira and Daewi will get a second chance to fight side by side with Mori. So the tourney got created to awaken the key what ever exactly that means and the cult is called Nox. Muzan also talked about the six and the first one of those people got introduced very quickly after. Damn that old man is strong. Guess it's no wonder if he also was the master of Muzan. Holy shit I don't know what Moris grandfather did but he destroyed a lot of the Nox people. I have no clue what happened afterwards with that giant sword which came out out that circle but I hope they will explain it in the future. It surprised me that the announcer was blind. How was he even able to do his job? Daewis conversation with Muzan was also interesting especially because he finally asked about those weird powers we saw. It's something about god but tbh I still don't really know shit. If it's really true that every single person in this tourney can use this power, oh boy. Atm I can't imagine how Mori, Daewi and Mira could possibly win. A lot of new characters got introduced which was almost overwhelming. The ending was fucked up. Not only killed that Nox guy the announcer (how dare he attacks someone whos blind), it also seems like Q is dead? or at least badly injured. I'm sure from now on we will get a lot of action filled episodes. |

When they showed the bunny costume right after the wife and kid left, I just knew they'd kill him and i just thought ''of course they did that lol'' Also, there's a couple of time that i feel like the background music buried the dialogue a bit |
