| speaking of OPs I really don't seem remember many game OPs that exude a lot of style like your favorite anime OPs do. let's see: Ayesha's undoubtedly my favorite game OP if you exclude my nostalgia OPs like TotA's and KH2's. It has the #symbolism, trippy visuals, and a really matching song. Eschatology's OP probably the closest to a SHAFT OP that's not made by them, in games at least. It has a lotta colors, lots of close ups, and its just them walking but its cool af. Missing a headtilt. Atelier Shallie's so weird because it doesn't feel like it belongs in an Atelier game, but it's actually pretty darn fitting considering the Dusk trilogy is set on a dying world. .Hack //Link's feels like it was made by the guys that made Serial Experiments Lain. Everything's like set in the uncanny valley, and since those things aren't supposed to be there it should. It's supposed to be made by the guys that did the Animatrix, so that explains something. Persona 3's opening... is Persona 3. I don't think I need to say anything else considering most people here that play games probably played this already. P3P's really good, too. Persona 5's opening reminds me of Baccano! but with even more style. That alone should stay something. Edit: i totally forgot about the God Eater Burst OP. Fucking slowmos, transitions, and electro music. Might not be that different compared to the others, but it's something. ...and that's all I remember. I didn't put P4's or P4G's here because, iuno, they feel lackluster in comparison to the other two. They're just like shift to one character doing something they actually do then shift to another. P5 has, like, dancing and stuff. It's odd that I don't know many games do kool OPs considering I've played like a bajillion of them and can't even name 10 with unique styles. |

Well, I know it's not a guarantee for quality but still, based on my live-action experiences from the last few years new Netflix shows have a much higher % of being good or even amazing than random TV shows do (excluding maybe HBO stuff), and personally I'd even say so compared to the other streaming services even tho that's definitely closer. So they must be doing something right in terms of what/who they give money to. I was just hoping that would translate to their anime productions too, and who knows, maybe it will, the sample size is still pretty small. |

| hey aico, making your 2nd episode a fuck ton of exposition even down to naming who the cast is and what their role is just makes you world feel fake and like your desperately rushing through things. I definitely see why this episode made so many people drop the show. Had to pause the episode midway through cause of how boring it was. I really want this show to prove me wrong, but these first 2 episodes have been a bit worse than i was expecting the start to be (I expect a decent start, followed by a medicore middle and abysmal finale), hey maybe this is a good sign, maybe it starts shit and improves which is infinitely better than my expectations |

| So real talk what were you actually supposed to do in the big fight in chapter 4 of FFXV, like what is the proper way that you're supposed to do it, because I feel like I jobbed the fuck out of it. Actually I feel like that in most fights in this game. I don't really have the whole blocking thing totally down yet. It feels like I'll be in the fray, landing blows, and then out of nowhere the enemy will hit me with one blow and instantly drop me into danger and I have no idea how I end up like that in almost every fight. Feels like I use up a fuckton of potions as a result. |

| Just finished the GuP movie. Wasn't as good as the series, especially because it kinda... recycled, but it was still pretty fun. I like that despite the somewhat serious implications it never really takes itself too seriously. Only the movie OVA remains, I think. | I've finished the GuP series, or at least the translated ones. That was fun. Will be waiting for the finale movie alongside Nanoha Reflection. I also noticed that I'm close to 400 anime completed. Not sure what I should make my 400th completion, maybe Utena or Texhnolyze. |
