I thought the judgement would be solved by the end of the episode, but that fat bastard is going to make things more difficult. And they even have their goods removed. What a bitch move. Hope it manages to be as good as the first season. It has started strong, that's for sure. |

| Already off to a better start. This episode made me realize just how much I loved the first season. The character designs look ever derpier. I guess DEEN's intentionally making character faces look stupid for the extra humor. Overall, great start!! 5/5 |

I hope nothing bad happens to her. Just when it seems like things are looking up for Kazuma it somehow gets worse.  |

| Hm, the art style seemed a little different, seems like the art and animation budget seems a tad lower than last season, I'm disheartened by that as it irks me because I want to see this get more funding but it's still got a lot of heart! It's really wacky and I think while being off-putting during some scenes, it really enhances the comedic aspects of others! Password and Star Wars intro was funny, though I noticed they misspelled chaos as "caos" in the long segment xD It was a really funny ep, loving the character interactions again and I was actually really distraught to see just how poorly Kazuma and co were treated at the end there T^T They took everything... even... the TRACKSUIT!? That OP looked hilarious, loved those small segments where they were doing the wavey dance and then turned in sync to give a thumbs up, especially the second time when you see that they're all exhausted from their pitifully hilarious adventures. Hope the art stays more consistent during the season, but that's only a minor nitpick, can't wait for more! sad that it's only 10 eps again though Olem said: You, my friend, are awesome to have posted some of the best parts in the OP! 10/10 start there lol That prosecutor was the best thing ever this episode That OP(?) is pretty great too |

| The animation is just shit and the characters look stupid than before. Studio Deen does it again and ruins another anime with it lack of talent. The drawing style is a complete disaster and lack of attention to details. A real shame. And think that there are people who complained about the good animation of No game No life. This world is crazy. Fuck Deen! it's just a bunch of crap. |

| Very happy to find again my 4 "troll" friends!^^ Why trolls? Episode1 will answer the question. It is an excellent episode with a rather important role of Darkness, very surprising. The dialogues are as usual very spontaneous and well written. The animation is however very average, hoping that it improves in the next. (Although I didn't really hope given the errors on the OP) The OP is cool and I like it enough. 4.5/5 |

| Oh boy these goofballs are back and are funny as ever episode was godlike and savage at the same time they really went in on him poor guy was just a NEET now hes being treated as a terrorist having to pay off his huge debt with nothing but his jersey. with the surge of popularity and it looking "worse than S1" i really think the animation besides the effects are a style choice like they are full on embracing the derpy-ness |

 In most cases, the MAL Average Scores don't mean anything, here is a question: were the works made before 2000 all shit? Why are they so damn scarce in the Top 50? Think about how MAL is quite literally a filtered amount of the Anime fanbase. Here's a timeline of the Top 15 in which you can check that, almost always, the scores are affected by the freshness, popularity and other factors that have nothing to do with quality. |
| Lots of laughs, so the episode was generally quite fun to watch. The source material really _is_ great. "Kuzuma" had me in stitches. BUT. To call the art "inconsistent" would be a drastic understandment. It was nothing other than horrible - barely B-team level. And sorry, it did affect my enjoyment significantly. Why is an A-level show like this plagued with amateur doodles? The first season wasn't too great either, but the art was competent and consistent. Now, the ugliness especially of the character faces detracts me from the enjoyment of the jokes. Please fire the art director before you continue. Due to the bad art, it's impossible to give more than a 4/5, and if it gets any worse, even that might be too generous. |
| Geez this came back swinging hard. This first episode was everything I wanted it to be and more. The star wars opening, the "prison escape", the interrogation, the trail, the stupid faces, all of it was on point. Here's to more KonoSuba! |

| For those uber-fans who are willing to believe that the degraded amateur doodles especially of character faces in medium-range are supposedly "intentional": Why do this? Season 1 had already established an art style. Why degrade the art to barely B-team level in season 2? What's the point in doing so? It absolutely distracted me, and reading the feedback here, I'm not alone in my displeasure. |
| It's so great to have the whole crew back! Kazuma is still that loveable scumbag and i'm reminded why he's one of my favorite mc's. Worst Girl Aqua and Best Girl Megumin were amazing as usual and i'm really concerned for Darkness! And like others have said, I can't imagine Konosuba drawn and animated any other way than it is, even though it feels somewhat different this season, it's still just part of the charm of this show for me and only adds to the comedy imo. Whether it's intentional or not... Can't wait for next week! |
