| The long cheese speeches, along with the music. xD It's nice to see a fantasy anime that focuses on the strengths of an everyday person, instead of just always on a hero or a band of warriors. I'm loving all of Shirayuki's different outfits. |

Well if count Zen's hand kiss, then he's kissed her already, not on the lips but a part of her body. Shirayuki is asking for it. She's overworking herself which isn't good. But she did show her great skills. |

| Episode nice, not very eventful narrative, just a bit at the end, the rest seems to dwell more on the story protagonists that show new events, although the final rekindles interest in the events that revolve around Zen and Shirayuki, perhaps clash between Zen and the bandits is a bit surreal, but manages to be interesting due to the OST that well accompanies the event. Discrete drawings and animations. |

| Not to say that it would be a first time for this series, but the dialogue in this episode was unusually obvious about being expository. For example, I think we would have understood the gist of Mitsu and Zen's bond even if Kikki hadn't spelled it out for us. This time Shirayuki really pushed herself too hard, and even decided to keep her friends in the dark about her sleep deprivation. It's kind of the obvious flaw to have with a character of her type, but it works, I guess. And the romantic moments made it all worth it. Other than that, this episode was just cute, but so far probably the least exciting one. The little scuffle with the bandits looked nice, but I'm not sure if it added enough to the story to be justified. I suppose it served as a break away from the record slow pace of the episode, and the bandit B-plot was probably there to establish that Obi isn't only a good cat burglar, but also good at gathering intelligence. unbewithable said: shirayuki is just plain boring. e_e i wouldn't date her in a million years. and oh god, i'm falling for obi. and he's not gonna get the girl. i just hope he doesn't fall into her harem as every male in this seems to. I can see why you'd feel that way about Shirayuki. She's had a handful of humanizing moments of weakness, but I'll concede that she's still a bit too perfect and one-dimensional so far. With a first-year high school student, I'd be more willing to overlook this, but she's basically college aged. While not a reverse harem technically, there is indeed a strange shortage of other young adult female characters, besides Shirayuki and Kikki, although the time period could be an excuse for that. |

| I think this buffed up my hope for this series a tad. I think the clever figuring of the logs and how the bandits tricked the fort was really good, I think Shirayuki tenacity is well handled, I think it's when it wants to fall hard on some dramatic shoujo tropes I get kinda meh about it all. Oh well. |

| The kabedon was funny, if a bit awkward XD Zen's trying to look cool in front of Shirayuki too. Their honesty towards each other is so refreshing, compared to other anime where misunderstandings and drama would be what moved the relationship forward. Seeing actual, proper communication feels almost alien. Speaking of which, I hope Shirayuki learns from this and starts relying on others to help out as well. I liked her short conversation with Obi and the fact that she didn't let her guard down around him completely, but trusted him a bit more since Zen allowed him to stay by his side. |

| awww, this is so cute :) I love how shirayuki's skills aren't just for show. Her being a court herbalist is partially to move the plot along and give her a closer bond with zen, but it's also her persona and who she is in general. loved this episode and am going to watch the next one now! 10000000/10 |

| I enjoyed the previous episode a bit more but still really liked this one. Shirayuki continuing to use her experience in the herbal field to good use as she helps all the people in a fort who were poisoned by toxic wood that was burnt in the fireplace by some bandits who wanted to steal the armory in the fort as well as other key goods. Even got to see Zen, Mitsuhide, Kiki and Obi kick the bandits' asses and serve justice per say which was nice. The show continues to develop and deepen Zen and Shirayuki's relationship and characters in such a soothing, satisfying manner for me and the tone of the show continues to be really calming to watch, almost like I'm being healed just seeing these characters be able to do well independently but also depend on each other when needed at the same time. That's the kind of couple that I love to watch and the kind of partner to be with by my side. |

OOOOOKAY WHY DONT YOU GUYS JUST FUCKING KISS ALREADY? ah also this justt popped up in my head but zen's the 2nd prince right? i wonder where the 1st one is and when we'll meet him. but he's probably just like the king/queen, we know they're there and that they're important, just haven't seen them yet |

| Nice episode once again. I just like whenever we don't have to deal with some over convoluted drama, and this series for the most part yet didn't try to play that card. Also dedication for your work doesn't equate to getting yourself overworked, Shirayuki should realize. Looking into the preview of next episode, maybe.. just maybe I think I'll have to take my no drama yet statement back. |

| at times this show feels like it wants to be some detective mystery show but the solutions are found nearly immediately. though this time im surprised people didnt suspect the fire sooner since they knew that the further away you were from the fire place the better off you were. |
