| Holy balls was this one hell of an episode or not. Loved the absolute shit out of it! Now I have good reasoning for Shinomiya to be my second fav character in this series aside from being habitually attracted to Heel personas. And Goddamn that ending was sublime! The interaction of that group is Must See TV. One of the, if not the, best ep of this series. |

| So Shinomiya was still struggling even though he reached the pinnacle. A good reminder by Megumi's dish knocked some sense into him. Also, nice flashbacks. Good info about him was well appreciated. Soma's furious that he lost. I totally get him. I hope Dojima-san gets to bond with Soma more often. I think it would be cool. I sure would love to get those miniature Megumi dolls. I'll complete the collection. LOL! |

| I thought it was a good episode, to be honest I was surprised it didn't just go like, Megumi won she got the votes. The whole memory thing with Shinomiya's mother and his past in France was definitely the better way to go about it. For some reason I was happy to see that Soma got pissed after losing. |

| So we got a little flashback of Shinomiya and I knew I was gonna like him, but I think he's one of my favorites now :3 Also I'm liking Souma as a character more with every passing week. Didn't think they were gonna be expelled, but I was wondering how their "not-expelling" was gonna happen. This one didn't cross my mind. Good episode! :D |

Shinomiya is former First Seat of Elite Ten and he graduated from Totsuki. If Megumi actualy beat him, what message does it send? Megumi is better than Erina and at Alumni level already? She can just graduated already. Megumi never stood a chance in the first place if its a real shokugeki. |

| The episode has remained down-to-earth, nothing unexpected and imaginative, who had to win won, and the losers military honors. However I do not mind this, because in the end the focus on this particular event, has a meaning and an outlet for any future developments. Narration good as far as introspection culinary and character growth of Megumi. Even Soma and Shinomiya, while not seeming, they earn something from this challenge. Good quality of the drawings and animations; a love chibi versions of Tadokoro. |

| Wow very good, solid episode!!, my highlights:) -soma cheering and helping megumi's confidence in cooking, shows he's a good motivator and friend aside from being a good chef -lol @ judges reactions from the foods of shinomiya, gotta love that French touch from his dishes:) -megumi's home inspired cuisine really touched the judges and esp shinomiya after eating megumi's dish remembered him of his childhood days, really touching scene there.. -souma really upset about his defeat, well that's how the world goes..sometimes ur up sometimes ur down P.S: the youkai Megumi' dolls are like KAWAII!!haha easy 9/10.. |
| I hope they sell those chibi Megumi dolls for real. I would buy them in a heartbeat! =3 Anyway, this episode was truly great. Shame that Megumi's dish wasn't enough to give her the win, but thanks to Dojima's clever planning and persuasion, Shinomiya at least acknowledged her cooking skills, which reminded him of his past. As someone said earlier, he won the battle, but lost the war. Hopefully this should inspire Shinomiya to become a better and maybe more likeable chef too. ^^ For Souma, on the other hand, he was in this to win outright, so it's good for someone like him to taste defeat every now and then. This way, it should help him to come back even stronger than before to improve not only his own dishes, but to assist in helping other chef's dishes the best he can as well. The timing of the OST throughout the episode was excellent, capturing the tension of the vote of Megumi and Shinomiya's dishes, as well as the emotional moments with Megumi too. It brought a tear to my eye seeing her reaction when she learned that she and Souma weren't going to be expelled. I'm hoping now that the second half of this series as good, if not, better than the first half. ^_^ |

| Dojima is a really good teacher. Truly the best character behind Megumi, Soma, and Erina. I wonder if the loss is going to affect Soma in any way. It's hard to accept defeat, and harder to move forward from a loss. It takes a truly talented individual to improve from loss. |

| Got teary eyed during this episode. Megumi finally found her confidence and her own identity of cooking. Finding out Shinomiya's reason as to why he's so uptight was well done. It just makes so much sense after being betrayed and only trusting in himself. Didn't expect all three chefs in this battle to learn so much from the battle. |
| Officially in the underground Shokugeki battle, Shinomiya wins the vote of the judge (because being calculative) BUT!...it turns-out as a draw because of the help of Doujima...because he made Shinomiya realize that being a chef isn't about being at the top and isn't about being calculative...you also need the passion/heart and the consideration of other people...and then it was meant as a good lesson for Shinomiya which he is lacking thereof. 5/5. |

| Good episode, Megumi regained a little of confidence in her. I didn't expected to see Soma hit the wall at the end, but this moment showed us a nice part of his personality. |
| anyways maybe I'm missing something (I let it go during the manga & figured it would just get removed during anime) Didn't Megumi put some meat in the oven (WTF was that for) I still can't find the meat in the dish and they had the nerve to keep that *scene in the anime* Guess I'll just chalk it up to both of them being in panic mode/ to be more specific, even if one of those areas was some meat (they put a LOTTT of damn meat in the over for that tiny amount *I think 1 shoulder cut easily should've/could've sufficed* |

| Ah man, that was another really good episode. Interesting how everybody described Megumi's dish ... and after all the buildup, I wasn't surprised to see them all voting for Shinomiya. Of course he would be better - after all, he's had way more experience! The flashback to his past was pretty cool though. Seems like he's really hit a stump huh ... well, I'm glad that eating Megumi's dish was a way to push him to move forward again. Doujima's a crafty guy ... did he plan this all along?! :P Souma's all fired up to get better as well, since he "lost" ... hehe, Doujima knows everything! XD Ah well, looks like next episode will be more of the training camp. Seems like we have the other judge (with the black hair) in charge of this one ...? :O |

| The did well in portraying the feels during the judging. One thing to look forward to in the anime is those awesome looking dishes. They look much more appetizing than the manga. I love the next part. Time to shine Souma ! |

| Sorry for those who read my review for ep 11. After watching ep 12, I realise that I seriously must of looked like a twat. I was seriously worried throughout the episode. Tensions were pretty fucking high. 8/8-ign. |
| damn that was gooood! I didn't want them to win but I sure as hell want them to stay but I didn't know how and now I see that, that was awesome. Dojima is one hell of a genius. |
