Also, when you're going to give a spoiler, please write above what is going to be spoiled (example : "spoiler LN volume 6") because people like me who are further away than others yet haven't read yet all the material don't know if they're going to be spoiled by opening the spoiler tags or not. GEtting spoiled on that manner is always a bit annoying, although Danmachi doesn't have enough complexity in his plot for really annoying me there. If that was a Ln I care about, would have disliked that though. Noted for future reference. Though it's not really that much of a spoiler, if you read up on the Sword Oratoria manga that's already been translated. All I'm trying to do here is to add some perspective to what's been shown in the anime, by adding things that appeared in the LN, that I'm pretty sure won't be added to the anime itself. Unlike yourself admittedly, I do enjoy and care about this series and don't really mind doing my part in promoting it to those who either don't understand the story fully, or don't enjoy it as much as I do. Also, the things I don't put in spoilers are essentially things that happened in the same time frame of the current episode, which I suspect they won't come back to (and thus require more of an explanation). The varying view I had with you regarding Aiz feelings was one such item, because it relates to the events that happened in the current episode. For things that will be explained in the coming episodes, I'd either add the tag, or not even talk about it. Like the issue with Ottarl and the minotaur, as well as the scene after the ED, I'm assuming that they'll get back to it next episode, since it'd be irresponsible of the director not to. If they fail to do so, then I might have spoken up next episode (though some of us here have already explained it). I know you mean well, mate. Just saying what I had to since I don't really see them adapting much of the Aiz-side storyline. |

That other familia seem to be experimenting things on monsters. They can ''level up'' or what seem to be like that. In any case, I guess they'll defeat him with the help of Aiz and other people like Bell, etc. |

| Knocked out several times as well as waking up in her lap several times. That actually was the best part for me. I'm so curious about that guy who was kinda training the Minotaur. What was his actual goal of doing that? Pretty bizarre of him. |

Remember what Freya talked to him about in the beginning of the last episode? That Bell still had a blemish to overcome. Think back at what this blemish was (beginning of ep1), and you should be able to figure it out. |

Lili has a skill very useful for a supporter which activates when she carries something heavy, giving her additional strength. So her bag actually trigger it, meaning that she has no problems carrying it around. That's something that should have been already explained but was left out in the anime, just like 75% of the explanations anyway. This LN is actually quite logical, so if they are things that seems illogical when watching the anime version, it's probably just scenes or explanations that were removed. @L-Ryoshi Well I also find this LN enjoyable, simply, I do not think it's good either. If I thought it was bad, I would buy the new volumes and would just drop it. I appreciate the fact that the plot is simple but solid, as there is no real plot hole or illogical things/behaviour in it. |

| @Zefyris Totally agree. I think its the simple, yet solid plot with very few unreasonable plot holes that attracts me to this series. The dungeon adventures are all quite intense at times and the interactions between the characters never appears forced. The entire series flows quite naturally. As someone who hasn't read a novel in a while, it was really easy to pick up and enjoy. |

This is SAO all over again... can't we have more actual plot and character development instead of this harem shit? What saved the ep was bell training with Aiz and the minotaur part. Somebody please tell me this looks less like a harem in the light novel. |

I just want to have a anime like that focuses more on the actual plot, the dungeon, the adventures, the fighting, the items and equipment, the character interaction and development... Why can't I have that? Every f**king time we instead get your typical brainless main character who wouldn't realise a girl likes him even if they spell it out for him (and ironcally enough they even do that!) and has almost every remotely interesting girl fall for him even though he has the personality of a blank piece of paper with the word "STEREOTYPE" written on it and reacts to each situation like a badly programmed NPC who can only do two things and occassionally walks into a wall until somebody either puts a door there or takes it out entirely for him to progess. It's like a anime like this can't get produced if the actual theme and story of it isn't secondary to harem and fanservice. |

This looks less like a harem in the LN simply by the sheer fact that we have far more content to read outside of the harem scenes than the anime, due to them being cut out in the adaptation. far more dungeon crawling scenes, far more dialogues about dungeon mechanisms, about the city they live in and its circumstances, about the surrounding, and so on. Now, the harem component is still clearly here, just not as invasive. If you want a setting with a "real dungeon full of demons beneath a city " with RPG elements in "real world", yet don't want harem setting, your best try is to go with Yuusha, aruiwa bakemono to yobareta shoujo, which is a wonderful LN with a similar setting but no romance at all (all the main characters are female adventurers) Unfortunately, that kind of LN usually doesn't get adaptation, even though there would be enough content (since books are longer than normal) of it to fit a one cour season, because well. No ecchi, no harem. MC is a OreTuee though, so all hope isn't lost... maybe.... EDIT: now that I'm thinking about it, there's probably Sword Oratoria too. It's Danmachi's spin off with Ais as the main character. Which means no harem around the MC, and I've heard it's far more focused on dungeon crawling. Haven't read that one yet, and probably not as good as the first one I listed, but that's a good option too. No anime adaptation either though. |

| Lili looked too cute in this episode omg. Aiz is really beating the training into Bell. He's learning quick though. The scream everytime he wakes up from being knocked out was hilarious. Thankfully Lili won't have to worry about the scumbags who were exploiting her. They got what was coming to them. |

| Nice to see Aiz get a bit more time on the screen, though she's still pretty mysterious. Still my favorite though. Bell is a pretty likable MC for the most part too. Only real problem i've had so far is how easily he forgave Lili last episode. She literally sets him up and leaves him for dead, and Bell's like "Aw, that's all right. No harm, no foul." Anyway, I hope i see more Bell x Aiz in the future. |

| Aiz actually has fans? She's pretty much cardboard. She can't be best girl cause I can't call her her anything. Until she actually gets a character instead of "uber badass female with blandness" She's dull and we have no reason as to why she likes him or vice versa except "oh my godz she strong" it wouldnt have been so bad if Bell didn't risk his life numerous times just to get to a woman's level.. Said woman who he knows nothing about and no chemistry but some Aiz x Bell fan will try their hardest to make it seem that way Hestia is great when she isn't overly jealous which only happened once..Her talk with Lili was pretty good and hopefully we continue to see that side of her. Lili is good no problems with her. Bell is an embarrassment on all fronts Unfortunately this show is getting worse and worse. Like SAO 3.0 |
