5th graders are agreeing with decision that 6th graders going for the extended round. The guy is explaining how the members are improving. lol @ Tomoka being his Shiny gift. OP during most of the round. They lost though because that final shot didn't count. They made a promise to fight again during junior high. Crying together for final game. Looking at "Subaru" star together.

While the 6th graders are junior highschoolers, the highschoolers can rejoin the club! Young Tomoka after the ED, and IT WAS the main guy who introduced her to basketball then!

The ending to the game went from heartbreaking to heartwarming in the span of a few seconds, I loved it. That stargazing scene was great as well.

On a separate note, the episode ending... I finally realize where that scene from the opening theme comes from! So that's why Tomoka has a jump shot light years ahead of others.

I hope this series is over now.

I kinda (7/10) liked the first season but this was a struggle to get through more weeks than not. Don't see myself picking up this again if it appears again in another installment. Which with the way it ended, I doubt it but you never know.

6/10 just because it isn't a complete flop. The part B of the finale was very heart warming given the journey the team and Subaru have been on. It was touching. Aside from that though it was very lukewarm week to week. I will say these kids got game > >

I don't get the reason for them losing. Is it for the fck winning everything is more important? or for the Drama at the end? or is it something a message that they didn't practice hard enough? i was so fcking hyped for this game to win! at least win this game! i don't hate it but you know they coulda put all of that with them winning! but that's good enough i had fun with this anime! really really nice! xD

Look at all of those lolis racing to grab the ball in the middle. I was surprised that they lost to that same team again. But like they said, the memories they made and fun they had were more important. The part where they all cried was bittersweet I guess, it didn't really move me but I can understand what it meant to them. The star gazing scene was nice, and so was the flashback at the end where Subaru inspired Tomoka to take up basketball.

Overall I found it to be decent. It had its fine moments but overall I had a hard time following it and found it less interesting than season 1. This is most likely my stopping point should they decide to make another season. 6/10 from me. Lolis rock regardless.

On a final note, this has put me in the mood for KnB season 2 next week.

I'm guessing that Tomoka remembers Subaru but Subaru doesn't remember her.

That backstory is interesting though, wrapping things up nicely and leaving me wanting more at the same time. I hope we get an OVA, specials, or possibly even a season 3.

Also seeing tomoka as a kid was very cute.

10/10 from me as it was better from the first season.

Better be a 3rd season with them in middle school or something

That lost. I did not expect that lost.

Not really a surprise that Tomoka learned about basketball from Subaru. I mean IT WAS IN THE FUCKING OP. Like almost the exact scene. But I guess the only thing I want to know is if Tomoka knows that was Subaru when she was little because it seems like Subaru doesn't know.

Awesome episode.

Loved S2 much more than S1 ^^

The match was amazing. Loved how tense and close it was. Too bad Tomoka didn't make it in time, but really nice either way.

Subaru harem route complete XD

And was that a confession to Tomoka hahaha :P...Also Tomoka is the best when waking up XD

Loli Mokkan Kawaiii <3

Anyway...loved this season a lot. Cuteness, Basketball and other good stuff :D

That was a nice finale, really wasn't expecting them to lose, and the scene where they were all crying was very emotional, but at least they're all still together. That backstory with Tomoka was interesting as well, looks like she has known Subaru for a while, this season is really an improvement over the first since they were on the court more and the characters were more interesting this time. I hope they make a season 3, as for this season, I give it an 8/10.

I'm SO glad this is finally over.
Even though it focused more on basketball than season 1, I found it to be worse. Probably can't take any more of this crap.

This show is horrendous and I hate it.
Can't wait for season 3.

Loss was expected. Apparently the girls need to learn how to cope with a loss once in a while. They can't always be winners (even though they are outside of the basketball court).

Tomoka's middle school uniform was damn cute, I like it even more than her elementary school uniform.

Though all the girls proclaimed they love him, Tomoka took it up a notch with a (sorta) confession. She didn't say so directly, but she said the Pleiades are her favorite stars. The cluster is known as 'Subaru' in Japan. That can't be a mere coincidence.

You CAN stop watching you know ...

I enjoyed this season, but not as much as the first one. I wish they had put more real development towards Subaru/Tomoka, but they seem determined to keep in the 'just hinting and teasing' level, at least for now. With the ending we find that Tomoka's been in love with him since she was an even younger loli, so she definitely seems destined to end up with Subaru-sensei, even if she has to wait a few years before she grabs her favorite star.

for me it almost felt like the 5th graders where the main characters of the show; they made much more development than the 6th graders in this season; almost felt sad to see them lose halfway

anyway, basketball sucks but elementary school girls are the best, so 7/10

This was EXACTLY my thoughts. The ball was in the air, the buzzer went off, the ball went in. That's known as a "buzzer beater" shot. It should have counted. I don't know what the series was thinking with making them lose, it was complete bullshit.

I wouldn't mind a third season with them in high school with Subaru as a real gym teacher there.
A few years time skip would do so much good to this series but I guess it won't happens because Japan loves it's loli, sigh.

RKB wa saikou daze!

Really enjoyed this season. I'm glad there was more basketball action this time around so that I can justify that I watch this for the basketball, and not the lolis I'm waiting for a season 3.

I'm disappointed. When I saw episode 10, I thought Rena is going to be like Aomine from Kuroko no Basket. But in ep 11 & 12 she was suddenly weak even when she playing one on one

Still I liked this show overall. I can't wait for season 3

There's plenty of reason.
For starter time skip are usually done after a big event has happened and I think that we can consider their graduation to be such an event. Subaru is not their coach anymore and even if they join the basketball club of their new school they will have to do with someone they might not like.
Subaru is their coach at heart but technically they will see each other less often until they barely see each others anymore.
Subaru will concentrate on his basketball club (he took the job of being a coach because he had less time because his club was closed) and the girls will enter a stage where they will have less time to play and will have to focus more on studying.
Basically the time isn't proper for them to reunite enough to warrant a new basketball focused season.

It would also bring a lot to the story if the character were to mature instead of doing another turn in the same roller-coaster like they did for two season already.

Therefore the best option I can see is a time skip that go straight to the start of high school where the girl that haven't played much basketball in a few year finally reunite. You can even throw Subaru as a proper gym teacher then since the time would fit.

The only reason not to do a time skip I can imagine is because the characters will be grown up and they will not be lolis anymore. To me it is a great plus but it's a big punch in the face for the target audience hence why I think it will not happen.

I have tons of problems with this show, but them losing is not one of them. It's just so refreshing to actually have a team that loses the ultimate game. I actually wanted these girls to win, so I'm sad regardless, but kudos for actually going through with it.

Story: 9.5/10
Video: 10/10
Audio: 10/10
Enjoyment: 9.5/10
Lolis: ∞/10

Not quite a masterpiece, but so damn close.
I just think that there is a slight room for improvement in the plot.
I'd give it 99/100 overall, but I'll drop it to 9/10 for MAL because there were one or two things that bugged me.

Although, that last scene is seriously making me consider giving it 10/10. That was just one final twist on the story to make it that much more cute and awesome.

The way it ended is a great way to conclude the entire series.
As unnecessary as it may be, I'd love to see a third season. With a show so great, I'm always up for more.
The potential is there for a great third season. It would be a shame to waste it.

This is so damn near perfection.
A absolute must-watch for anyone who likes lolis and/or touching stories and/or even just cute things in general.
Even for those that don't like basketball or sports anime, there is just so much juicy awesomeness in there to make up for it.

Lolis FTW!
