Anyways though, if you haven't seen my club post yet, she's already coming out with a new album. I can't believe she already has a new album coming out. I'm still just casually listening to Smashing Anthems here and there, I do listen to all her albums but I like to keep up to date with her current songs. Then I mostly just listen to my top 50 list of her music generally when I just want to listen to my favorite singer of all time.
Yeah the production quality for Vivid is a little low. x_x But I'm still excited to watch it though since this is one of the first times I read the manga before it being animated, so this will be interesting.
I still haven't compiled my top 77 favorites for Nana Mizuki, sort of can't right now since my computer can't read my Ipod for some reason lol. But ELISA's 4th album has came into the mail and wow, I am so impressed by her singing. I mean after all these years of waiting she still has amazing singing style voice and I think I could say her 4th album is my very favorite out all of hers. Take a listen to a couple of her music videos here that I linked that pretty nice sounding: Sobani Iruyo and Realism. But this song is my second favorite from the album: Shout My Heart and Story Of My Love, just hit play I think but that is my very favorite from her new album, easily one of my very top 3 songs out of all of her music. <3 I just love, love the intro to Story of my Love.
Not really. I don't frankly watch too much anime nowadays in general. My focus and preference is presently film, so I'm tending more towards spending my free time on them.
I would say at least 85% of my top 34 is accurate, still got to listen through it a lot lol.
ELISA has recently came out with her 4th album, I've already ordered for it and I'm waiting for it to come in the mail. Can't wait for it lol. But anyways, I'm not entirely sure how popular Nana is in the West. You see, there's been idol groups that have done concerts in America a few times, I been to one of them and it was amazing experience for us and for the members but yeah. It might be different for a solo singer though.
Oh, I watched the first season of Valvrave but I didn't like the anime enough to start the second season. And you know, the most funny thing about it, Nana Mizuki does the opening song and ELISA does the ending song but the anime wasn't too my standards lol. xD So I had an unfortunate coincidence with that for them lol. Yes, when I heard Vivid announced, I was so happy, I can't wait for it so much.
I see what you mean for FATE, the song itself is a bit simple but for me it gives off a very passionate vibe with her singing in it. The song is very direct to the listener and passionate, if that makes sense. xD I guess for me and you, while you like the beginning part of the album more, I like more of the end part instead lol. xD But I like all of her songs in that album anyways though, I didn't feel like any part of the album was significantly better at different ends. I do agree the beginning songs were a bit more riskier (in a good way) and for the songs later were a bit more simple even though FATE and Million Ways are one of my favorites. All in all, Supernal Liberty made me love Nana Mizuki much more, so I'm really happy about the album, its at least my 3rd favorite album of her 10 albums. xD
Yeah, like FATE, Inside of Mind is also very direct, not sure if I'm using the right words. But basically her singing in those 2 songs are intended for us listeners and that they are the type of songs to where I think Nana Mizuki wants us to grow to love her more. xD But that's what I feel from Inside of Mind very much, I actually raised its rankings a little bit too since then. xD Speaking of rankings, I have a top 34, I use to have a top 80+ but that just too many favorites so I had dwindle it down since Supernal Liberty came out and redo it in only having 3 songs from each album, for most part. 3 x 10 doesn't = 34 since I had to add more for EPs and Impact Exciter lol. xD
Well, I'm willing to throw down more money with Nana Mizuki, I sort of just want to collect more of her merchandise, so that's something I will do in the future. I don't think I have the space for all of her stuff though lol.
Well, yes, the first season of Higurashi was pretty ugly lol. xD But the second season, the animation is a lot better in quality and color. But if you already read the manga, that won't matter much unless you want to see the series animated despite already knowing the outcomes. xD The plot and Rika, is one of the main reasons why Higurashi is one of my top favorites lol.
I see, I actually mostly listen to my favorite singers while I'm driving to work or if I'm not watching any animes, etc. Yeah, her Railgun songs are one of starts of why I started paying more attention to her but funnily enough, her Railgun songs are not high on my list in terms of favorites. xD
I haven't watched much Jdrama recently either, but I actually like Jdrama more than anime, just harder to find series that I like in Jdrama.
Well, that would make sense for me since I'm 28. I always feel like Nana Mizuki isn't popular enough, its like she is well known as a singer but I don't think she gets enough credit either. But I wouldn't really know since finding stuff about Nana Mizuki is hard since she doesn't go out of her way to appeal to her foreigner fans like some idols do. I don't even know if Nana Mizuki is aware that she has a fanbase outside of Japan that aren't local to Asia. xD Heh, that explains why then for us then in MAL. xD Oh, I love Cross Ange, I was late in starting that because I wasn't even aware of it but that series is really funny since it doesn't take itself seriously with some of the over the top things in it but it actually turning out to be a pretty solid series with some of the twists that have happen and how some of characters that developed like with Yukari Tamura's character Hilda, and we almost have a NanohaxFate relationship once again. xD It makes me wonder how familiar Nana and Yukari are with each other. xD But yeah, about time they give Nana Mizuki a role as significant as this and with her singing to boot. Last time we did have Symphogear series but Nana Mizuki skills as a VA and singer weren't fully utilized imo. But yeah, I'll reply again for when you reply or when I have something Nana Mizuki related to talk about. xD I also think I should send you a friend request. xD
