Monogatari Series: First Season

| It's listed as "2012" on the winter anime chart... Same as Kuro, actually, which started airing in December. I hope they release it before the second season. |

| It is awfully quiet about anything Monogatari related since begining of the year. If it ever gets to be released I expect Kizumonogatari to surface arround April of spring season in general. |
| Remember that even if it would be released today, we still would have to wait some time (or a shitload of it) before we would get a BD/DVD source. Well, unless some good uncle would cam it, but damn i wouldn't want to spoil my viewing pleasure like that. And then waiting for the sub gods to do their magic... And waiting for the download to complete, as it would probably be ~3/6GB for 720/1080p respectively, and the interwebz would probably beat the living daylight out of the release source... Read the novel today, took me about 7 hours, and i really would like to see this in motion, as my imagination is somewhat dormant ;__; (although the first minute-something from Bake ep1 helped me quite a bit, cuz it's basically the first PV of Kizu :P) |

| I think this is going to air when the entire Monogatari Series is finished, then they will air this movie to show how everything started. Because throughout the entire series we see flashbacks of the events that took place in this movie. |

| I'm reading through Kizu right now because I couldn't wait any longer, and I found something funny. But maybe not in the traditional haha sense.. During a rather disturbing scene that I won't give any context to because spoilers, after having earlier had a short dialogue about "their daily lives being adapted into an anime", Koyomi (thinks) this: "You can't adapt this into an anime" The irony there is quite fantastically cruel. God dammit Nisio your witty writing has ji- nah I won't say it.. And all Monogatari fans collectively knocked on wood. |

You get to see aspects of kisshot that you never see before. I just love it. I'm so pissed that baka-tsuki isn't working on translating the rest of the chapters for the monogatari series anymore, the witty dialogue is amazing! *sigh* How will they adapt this into a measly 1 hour and 30min movie without cutting out so many good aspects of the story? I just don't see the reasoning behind it. Well I think they can cut a little on those parts that kissshot doesnt appear, and besides, lots of the text of the LN is the thoughts of koyomi. Still I hope to see a good job. |
