THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Fantastic water effects and naked dipping of Rune in the spoiler It was also quite amazing the effects of that water/bubble ordeal of memory lane in the spoiler (NSFW) http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb480/Yumekichi11/Picture%2026/70ef6194.jpg http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb480/Yumekichi11/Picture%2026/572e1668.jpg http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb480/Yumekichi11/Picture%2026/6bd3dcda.jpg http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb480/Yumekichi11/Picture%2026/88a824b9.jpg The action was far better and defined such as bullets being plunged into Boiled in the beginning. However I have a problem of the notion of SUPERMAN on Boiled in regards to his shield. It seems over powered IMO. Rune’s body in the spoiler Most likely I liked a lot the following part, Mainly due to Oeufcoque being back and was it nice to know he is in the first place. Most of all the way Rune is shown and her angle of being shown. Finally the Casino was perfectly well rendered. I think it’s the most anime realistic wise Casino render. All of the part was great. I admit that it sucks running around a lot but Boiled is nuts in power. Can’t wait to see the conclusion from the looks of the end Boiled is getting ready to steam out again. Rune still has a hot body. Really hard to beat it in terms of art value. It was like since the last movie anyway. This is just becoming better and better. Out for a second watch with subs. I can say once more that this anime surpasses all the kidyness of other animes. IMO this even surpasses Fate Zero in art and seriousness. The feel at least it gives out. |

I'm quite surprised nobody has replied yet. ^^ Thanks Yumekichi for your snapshots as always. ^^ I do think this second movie was more of a buildup for what's to come next. It's not as intense as the first, but I think it has a sort of slight-calm-before-the-already-brewing-storm feeling. I wish I can time-skip. :( Another year to wait is excruciating, but the last movie will be worth it, I guess. ^^ |

I agree the 2nd movie just seemed to be leading toward the 3rd, since really nothing much happened. I really enjoyed the first, had a great combination of exposition and action and visually both movies are just amazing. Seriously I think the only thing with superior animation would be Redline and that thing took 7 years to make. I also like that it actually takes its story seriously and I agree that its better than F/Z and about on the same level as Kara no Kyoukai. Hopefully the 3rd movie lives up to the buildup/hype. I don't mind waiting another year if it's actually worth it... Some more on the 2nd movie. Errr... yeah half of it took place in a casino and was just Rune and the prof gambling. Now don't get me wrong it looked really amazing... that was the most interesting gambling of any medium I've ever seen. In the end though... gambling just really wasn't that exciting of a thing. The first half was pretty good, but I wanted more violence lol. Shark guts are nice, but yeah it felt like kind of a let down after the fights from the first movie. Oh and homosexual incest cyborg dolphins.... lol |

Very uneventful but that really did not stop this from yet another amazing movie. Im really looking forward to the finalle next year, i feel it's going to be tragic ending though. As for downloading the movie there was a wide spread torrent that had a corrupted sub file, everyone pulling out there hair hoping they dont have to download 3 gigs again lol. I was lucky to find to find a replacement. |

The bit about "lovers" in at Paradise seemed kinda awkward, and the Adam/Eve refrences didn't really fit. Overall it wasn't bad, but not as much action as the first and not being a gambling fan that part was kinda dull. Looking forward to things picking up again in the third installment. |

Pretty good, not worth the wait though and the 2nd half was just bullshit. And having to wait another year for the final part is way to harsh with such a boring middle part. |

It's obvious that that isn't a defect though and it was just a build to the next movie events although you don't feel as pleased as you felt watching the first movie after it ends. Now for the suffering of waiting for God knows how long. |

Boring transition movie. Disappointing having to wait so long just for this. However, never thought I'd find roulette so interesting. That was pretty much the best part. |

truly a moving experience......i loved the first one, but this one was even better........a great and dark sweeping vision in the way of blade runner, akira, ghost in the shell - right up there with some of the best cyberpunk cinema - can't wait for part three.........the animation effects were by far some of the most awe inspiring i've ever seen - a glance into another world full of beauty and horror......... |

I'm not entirely sure why, but the roulette scene was the best part of the series this far for me. Action has been cool and all... but the visuals, the music, the atmosphere, the discussion about nothing and everything with Bell Wing... was magic. I don't even care about gambling one bit... there was just something in that scene. |

The first movie has a gang of fucked up sexual maniacs - pretty much OK for a "cyberpunk" title, but now we have some sentient dolphin claiming that he is a homosexual partner for a boy - what the point of that not only weird, but scientifically incorrect (unless dolphin is a passive) scene? Author seems to have a thing for unconventional sex - which is okay, but not in a title that wants to be a serious psychological sci-fi like GITS and not another Elfen Leid. |

The first half was pretty good, giving some much needed info into the world and characters as wellas with some amazing visuals. The second half in the casino was a bit boring o be honest. I suppose that it's because it's a transition to what's to come and there's no real climax or anything. I'm looking forward to watching the 3 films one after another soon. |

That's the ending? I want more. The first half was average. Don't really like the boy. Quite annoying. The second half was very cool. I like th way Balot is dressed, and the way she is thinking. Casino was the best. Hope the third movie will be better than this. 7/10 |

Re-watched this before i check the second movie, i forget to mention before that Oeufcoque was really cute in the flash back, lol. It was good to revisit the first two movies cause you notice more details and you can be more into the third one without feeling something is missing from your memory. Relax, if you noticed she asked them if they knew what they were talking about? That is an indication that that dolphin and that kid have no idea what the words truly meant. You forget that this two creatures never even saw the world outside. |

That is some research facility there, and then there's the dolphin and blondie being homosexual lovers was an interesting concept to say the least, ah well I shouldn't judge. >_< XP Professor Faceman A.K.A. God being just a human head reminds me so much of...Futurama! LOL According to God (pun intended), the Professor who created 09 was killed, the other of who just had a bit of brain left, created October Corp which is at odds with 09. The two sides of the forbidden research is about to collide anew, God is just watching from the sidelines. The dive (uhmm sorry Ghost in the Shell reference) was quite a literal reference, wet, dripping, etc. The casino cheating-the-cheaters scene makes me feel self-righteous all of the sudden. *big grin* Aw man, Bell Wing got fired, I liked that old lady! She looks like a damn hard case but her short conversation with our protagonist endeared her to me. The mystery of the last guy's identity is killing me, I have to watch the last episode right after posting this! XD 8/10 |

Kinda slow compared to the first movie and abit boring at times too(found myself yawning quite abit tbh).Though seeing as how this was a build up movie for the final movie I'll let it slid.7/10,probably lower to 6/10 with time. Also animation was just superb, such amazing visuals. |

as such keep being splendidly shown. Something anime is lacking really. Showing ecchi in a artistic way and not to dick out on or jerk off. I did not feel a single speck of any such with this movie nor the previous one. A good feeling TBH. That's an interesting way to put it :p the sentiment is shared. Balot is honestly gorgeous and lovely to look at, but the nudity carries a much different meaning from something like, say, High School DxD. It captures the sense of one's purest form, and the Adam & Eve references even added to the idea that it wasn't there to service. Overall this movie was a bit more calm and I felt like it served the purpose of fleshing out the story more, and to build up to what will happen in the 3rd movie as others have said (hopefully that's the case anyway). Although some parts felt like they were trying too hard in the edgy department, such as the great adventures of Triple Taboo Onii-chan the Dolphin Loving Queer. The casino scene captured my interest to a degree but I can't really say it had much of an impact, although the interaction between Bell and Balot was a good one. Going to give this a 7/10 for now, I like the first movie more but I didn't really have any complaints with this one to warrant a lower score. |

Great episode! Really love the animation, so beautiful and colorful!! It was nice seeing how the outcast people who have disabilities live out their lives outside of the society. Yeah i was kinda baffled with Twedle's and that dolphin's relationship. I don't think their homosexual in the human societal definition. It's more on they just care for each other thus we are labeled as homosexual. It's kinda fucked up how Fingernail started slashing those disable people's arms like their were mannequins. That Twedelle kid even had to feel pain after been so long. Though the movie was really about how to play and feel the casino XD I lol'd when the people saw Balot winning alot on Bell's table. They instantly went with Balot's number XD Oh well there's not a lot of action and it's more understanding how society works on Mardock Scramble. At least we saw some of Boiled's past and how he was a soldier who cost at least 14 of his comrades lives. Final Movie up ahead! I hope it'll be more action oriented this time around :) |

Now this is more like it. Who knows if everything said about analysing and calculating made actual sense (with those random string of letters and numbers), but the dialogues turned out to be quite self-releasing. Not often do we get something about casinos. They're usually used as a backdrop for the story. This was entirely about the casino. It is indeed a transition for the third movie, but it is in no way boring nor bad. The retarded shit in the first movie was more of a reason to enjoy this even more. |
