| I've very mixed feeling about this I hate that Konohamaru now out ranks Naruto but do find it somewhat humorous that he failed again at making chuunin though on another level that really irritates me, I don't know. Will Konohamaru from now on be a Chuunin in the series? |

And what Konohamaru special can? Naruto should be able to kill him there, lol. And when that kid used Oodama Rasengan I was like "WHAT THE HELL?" That episode only annoyed me -_- |

| This was significantly better then the film it came with - 9/10 (I wouln't mind a feature length of this). :D It's hard to pin-point what it is - it's probably just because this is going right back to basics with good comedy and characters we know? |

| The episode was really good but I just don't like that konohamaru became a chunin, just doesn't sit right. It's based off of skill and what not so even if he lost he should still become a chunin. |
| Didn't mind that Naruto didn't become Chunin since this is filler and it's kind of a running gag that, regardless of their immense strength, Naruto and Sasuke remain Genin. It was a nice watch but Konohamaru's sudden boost in abilities wasn't really believable but hey, it's just a fun little OVA. |

| great ova, could have been an entire arc completely. konohamaru have so much potential and hes not even at his peek yet. you can't help it but to watch him grow stronger each time you see him. naruto should just stay at genin then go straight for the hokage title. we should have konohamaru shippuuden instead of that stupid chibi rock lee parody series. |

| Yeah you guys have to remember that this is not canon material, so don't take the whole "chunin" rank series to heart in this ova. I don't think kishimoto never intended to raise naruto's rank, because things just spiraled out of control, the moment shippuuden started, he had no time to go through other chunin exams, when their was a secret evil organization bent on destroying and taking over the world, he had much more things to worry bout. But i do think he will become hokage, it will be just like Genin > Hokage. Also in the canon material, i actually do hope something similar like this happens some time in the near future, that would be cool to show the next generation shinobi go through some changes. But the whole sauske and naruto conflict is the pinnacle of the story so it might not happen. Maybe at the end when they reveal another time skip or something, i don't know. Similar to how Dragon ball ended when goku Jr fought Vegeta Jr. |

| Well she said that they can use anything they wanted in the match, they never said they couldn't use Sage Mode, I think. Naruto should have won thing without even trying. |

| I wanted to like this little short but I just can't get over Konohamaru being able to do the rasengan, like... really? -___- And then the tajuu kage bunshins.. uhhh, wasn't that a forbidden technique? How the heck can Konohamaru do it?? I understand it's supposed to be a fun little filler but at least make it relevant. 5/10 just for the ending, animation, and Gaara. | People complaining about Konohamaru should realize that the Sarutobi clan is by no means weak. Besides, after using that chakra intensive Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, Konohamaru attempted to use kunai and taijutsu to defeat Naruto's Rasengan wielding shadow clones. So it wasn't like his chakra reserves were enormous, just very large with his strong heritage. Besides, this isn't even canon, though I wish it was. |
