| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lucky me, there is pre-air of this right now going on. Well the episode and series is fantastic! the setup is nice! the friendship of the girls gives out warm feelings such as those from A-Channel considering all the girls are childhood friends. What is catchy is the following,  whoa! Mysterious rock that makes them float in the air for some time only to be brought back to ground? Sounds to me something fishy is going with the rock. Add to that in the following spoiler Oh well in this series I like a lot and am attracted appearance/features wise. Saki in the spoiler Rinko in the spoiler |

| Looks like a nice calm anime to watch but with a supernatural aspect of them flying into the air when they all hold hands around that rock.... Also, it seems it's usually the blonde girl having the attitude/ojou-sama feeling. |

| Toyosaki-san's character looks like her (at least the hair resembles hers) but is quiet, Tomatsu-san's character is too naive and energetic (sometimes too annoying). This ep. focuses on the fight between Kotobuki-san's character and Takagaki-san's character. So the ED is the song they sang for the competition. Just watched the raw to official airing of ep.1, Tomatsu-san's character really has green hair. |

| The anime seemed to be another of those slice-of-life down to earth anime, and all on a sudden... the girls started flying? I have to say I am impressed. That was a very good episode! Saki's reaction was kinda weird though. She just went through a miracle and she just left like that? The girls are cute and their friendship gives a warm and fuzzy feeling about it. I planned to watch this anime when I first saw SPHERE members doing the voice-overs, and I am sticking with it until the end. Will be a great summer anime in Spring Season! 5/5 for episode 1 |

| Err, that was an odd way to start an anime. Random supernatural stuff. Ehh, I'll give it a chance but I was really hoping for something more realistic. Also Saki's being an unreasonable bitch. Looks like the Aki Toyosaki voiced character will be my favorite once again. |
| Nice anime, Yuka is a joy... I think I'm gonna like her more as the series progresses :) As for what to expect or setting standards if it's real or supernatural? I don't care, I just want to relax and be entertained. |

| This episode surprised me in a positive way as it avoided being dull, my biggest fear concerning this series. The characters are more than mere sterotypes and the dialogue sounds natural and the supernatural was a nice twist. The background art looked detailed as well. I assume this will be a show about idols in the making? While I don't find idols appealing this could turn out to be a quite decent show. |

| Interesting episode,I must say i am surprise i enjoy it this much this episode,is still episode 1 but not bad we have or typical Tsundere,slow talking,easy going,serious quartet so it be interesting how they join slice of life with supernatural. Will continue to watch and see also is "Sphere" so is a plus!! |

| ok I have no idea what to think about it green haired girl is annoying that's for sure (but Saki is very very close behind her) and it looked somehow similar to Hanasaku Iroha which is not the best thing (it was too boring for my taste) than came the ending... and I started to like it most certainly series worth following for now :) |
| Seems like a cute anime. And it`s the Sphere girls, great voices :D But Aki`s characther looks very familiar. Like I`ve seen her in another anime, pink wavey hear but that characther hold a fluff toy thingy :P And it by this pre-air it feels like there should be one more genre added, slice of life with something else, becaus of that lfying scene :P |

| Decent first episode with some magic/supernatural stuff going on. Two girls (Saki & Natsumi) have some argument due to Saki transferring to another school, four girls have promised to become idol when they were little & wish that be granted depending on the feelings of each main characters. With the voice cast involved, definitely watching thus plus can hear more of sphere songs on course of the series. |

| The ending was amazing. I was afraid this would be like K-on! aka no story, cliche characters that make you want to punch them and no point at all. But this was rather interesting even though I dislike slice of life. Characters are very well done imo, although Saki is a bitch and Yuka is quite annoying (but I've seen way worse). Rin picked my interest for her lack of emotion and smiling. I hope this will get some background story, hopefully the only reason isn't "because". So far is Natsumi my fav character since I can relate to her the best. Seriously, if Saki was acting like this around me, I would probably punch her. I wonder what will be the focus of the anime. |

| Don't know what to think of this yet it din't look bad but it wasn't exactly great either. It somehow felt like we started of somewhere in the middle of a anime that's about to come to a end i was almost thinking this was a OVA. But that doesn't seem to be the case. I also have to say that these girls a pretty innocent with there dreams and wishes something bound to be betrayed at some point. |

Really, before airing I thought I could give some chance, but this was worst than I expected. |

| Oh lord. Why did I decide to watch this? Probably because I thought I hadn't seen the moe with 4 girls type of series in a while. Turns out it isn't moe. So, after a brief flashback that gives us what I though would be a good idea of most the characters personalities, well, I was slightly wrong, I'll move on to that. We're thrown into some crappy melodrama where Natsumi told Saki that their friendship would be at an end if she didn't come to tennis practice anymore, with Saki the replying with "Okay then" and casually strolling off. Yuka seems a pretty annoying character, loud, whiny, and a laugh that makes me want to murder. Rinko seemed like the quite one, but she's more outgoing than the usual repressed character, ah, she's just a lackey of Yuka, minus points. I felt I was trying to hate it, so I decided to try to like it. With this in mind, we find out that Saki is leaving, and transferring to Tokyo, a fairly typical plot point. I think to myself that perhaps this could explain the characters silly actions, and perhaps there's hope after all. The show, as if sensing this, decided to quickly deal with this "hope" and gave us a scene where Saki and Tatsumi pointlessly mouthed off at one another, where Saki blatantly lied about promising about going to the Nationals in tennis, because of unidentified reasons.... This is really annoying because you know all this time that the show is going to try and spin it so she is only reacting to the bad circumstances, where really her actions are irrational, bitchy and confrontational. Oh, and it gets worse, the scene at the beginning is repeated, begging the question of "why show it twice?". Then there's some shit where they get high and hallucinate themselves flying together. Wait, that was supposed to have actually happened? Now I've posted this, I will continue this crapfest to the end. The character designs are fairly pleasant, and I don't dislike Tatsumi, but that's all the show has going for it. I don't think this will even be enjoyable in the Symphogear kind of way, but it's only the first episode. Predicted rating: I'd say 2, but I'll go with the more conservative 3 |
| lol..^ seems like it could be a pretty decent series not much went on but i guess you call it the Tamayura of the season just less realistic, i like Yuta and Rin need someone that can break the ice with those two Bitches as you will fighting each other haha. and the art and music is really nice the girls kinda look like the ones from Index in a way. |

| Saki is the worst type of tsundere, the one I hate the most. Gah, Saki! Atleast try to be an actual good character and not a stuck-up bitch! I like Rin, Yuka and Natsumi though, they are adorable, although irritating. Except Rin. This better get better, otherwise dropping. |

| a slice of life anime with supernatural undertones, a pilot episode that isn't very striking which leads one to not expect too highly, a moe show that seems to have an encompassing story for the entirety of it and not just a showcase of what they do with their lives, stereotypical characters who went all out and started the drama already in this ep (no introduction is required because they're conveniently stereotypical), voice cast of a seiyuu idol group whose characters dream of being idols, a director of great action shows (what?), a series composer and script writer who's used to working with slice of life anime, an anime that is not adapted from anywhere, and best of all, it left me having no means to predict what is going to happen next or for the entire series.. folks, i just found something to watch and am pretty much intrigued about.. |
