| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Saw it as a web cast and I wonder if that means uncensored version due to the ban. Well it certainly was damn amazing! OP is kick ass with a constant bad ass Saya covered in blood during her first fight shown as it follows,  blood is in the house! In fact at first I though the monster was like some sort of statue alive. Little did I know it soon transformed into what looks like a mantis in the spoiler Oh wow Saya get maimed and spits out blood in the spoiler I can already see myself liking Nono and Nene in the following,  they bring light heart comedy and most of all they are twins. Saya getting the sword was the quite the ceremonial.

| Loving Saya already. She maybe a klutz but she knows how to kickass when it needs to be. Nana Mizuki is doing a fantastic job as well. Love the ending, voice and her song in the anime. |

| Moe klutz with skillz....originality is going through the roof here. As Yumekichi11 mentioned , twins are very similar to those in xxxHolic.. and they don't seem to fit the series. Dropping it very soon if it becomes fangirl service without any redeeming values. Apart from visuals and sound, very mediocre start. Unimpressed so far. 3/5 |

| I was really looking forward to this cause i Loved Blood + and loved the movie, Blood the Last Vampire. After watching this episode i was quite disappointed about how different the story is. I was expecting more similarities. The only reason im going to continue this is because of the amount of blood. Also, was that statue that turned into a monster meant to be a Chiropteran cause if so then they sure have changed. |

| That was...ummm, really bad =| Most of the episode consisted of absolutely nothing happening. Saya skipping to school while singing lasted an entire minute. The jokes weren't funny. The fight scene just hopped in out of nowhere with little explanation, and the attempts to build up tension to that fight consisted of showing us pictures of hills and clouds. Also Noodle People. Actually I didn't mind the noodle people. At least they were sorta fun to look at. And the OP was pretty cool. That's about the extent of my praise. anyways, zzzzzzzzzz boring |

| Haven't watched this yet because I'm waiting for a more high quality veresion but just a quick question. Is any Blood knowledge needed to understand this show or is this a stand alone show with similar names and characters? |

| this show was worth my fired-up waiting!! the OP was excellent. I liked the fight sequence - swinging the sword and striking without yelling and screaming "ahhhh ohhhh!!" and all that crap!! but damn.. Saya says "Hai" a lot! haha probably over 20 Yes in an episode she's so polite and obedient!! hahaha.. anyway, it was awesome. waiting for better quality. |

| is this some kind of remake of Blood+? I have seen Blood+ and it's one om my favorites, I doubt Blood-C will beat B+.. But Since this is one of clamp's work I will give this an other chance. The first episode was OK, nothing big but wasn't horrible either :) |
| It was actually cool imo. The two twins are adorable and it was interesting to see Saya go from klutz (who is athletic as well?) to bad ass in one episode. |
| She is only clumsy when she was at the shrine... this could mean that she has like demon blood in her which affects her when she is on holy ground. Because when she was not at the shrine throughout the episode she was great at sports and was never clumsy. I thought it was a good opening... there is potential. 4/5 |
| It got my hopes up for looking like a xxxHolic clone but the first episode couldn't live up to that at all. Let's see how this turns out. Saya looks very cute though. |

| Not a bad start I guess assuming that this 1st ep is to raise some questions that might be cleared in the next episodes. Also, I think that the mantis-statue chiropteran doesn't need Saya's blood to be killed. The OP might grow on me but don't know about the ED. Hope next ep will be better. :) |

I've never watched any of the other Blood series, but I decided to give this one a try since I am a fan of CLAMP. I was also very impressed by Saya's design... But the episode is very lack-luster and I'm beginning to lose faith in CLAMP. Their characters are beginning to get a little cliche and though I enjoyed the crossovers in Tsubasa, xxxHolic, Kobato, etc., they are in need of something new to add to the CLAMP universe. I'm really, really hoping this gets better very soon. I was kind of hoping Saya would be a more serious character. |

| Nana Mizuki voicing Saya was a meh. Her voice is great but when she voice a clumsy type character she doesn't standout as a main character. Well the show is pretty weak and boring most of the time. It almost like nothing happened except some fighting. |

| so i watched blood+ a few months ago and liked it... 1st impressiion on this... the main char looks like an airhead version of Zatsune miku.. when i saw clamp in the op didnt think much of it but a little ways in the characters made it very obvious... the fight seen seemed more comical than anything else... the op was great though dunno if il watch all of it... it seems like it could have alot of problems... :? |

| I found that monster fight to be hilarious. It was good, but Im still trying to figure out what the heck that thing was. Some wood statue thing with mantis legs? wtf? The rest is still of high quality. I expect it to be a start slow and end strong show. |

| Yup it's CLAMP alright. Ok for me. OP and ED songs are great. Dunno how this will go since I havent watched Blood+ yet but it's still the beginning so yeah. |

| 3/5 The first episode was beyond bad, but I'm willing to give it a second chance. Though I really wish they'd cut down the amount of times that Saya says "Yes" because close to 20+ is bordering on obnoxious. Aside from that the first episode didn't really make much sense, and a lot of it was just useless garbage. Hopefully it will improve. I'm not really a fan of Clamp either, so I guess we'll just see if this gets better or not. |

| its been a while since i've been into CLAMP's universe and i'm loving this one. not bad for a first episode and i can't wait to watch it again in HDTV release. and i've already accepted that is going to be different from The Last Vampire and Blood+ w/ Clamp doing the story so no problems here. ^^ |

| I have mixed sentiments in connection with the first episode. The main character seems to be too childish and innocent in my opinion to be a vampire hunter. The fight between the aged one and Saya wasn't bad, but the aged one reminded me rather of a living statue than a real monster. I hope the next episodes will be better. |

| I liked the slice-of-life elements, but it was badly juxtaposed with the darker themes. Don't get me wrong, the fight scene was excellent, but I feel Saya was a little out of character during it. If she wasn't as bubbly and just a little aloof, I would've believed that her serious badass side more. However that wasn't the case here. Not even disappointed or impressed. Just "It was enjoyable". The teacher and the twins were awesome! Too early to say if it its bad or good. Just entertaining enough to make me wanting more. 7/10 *HATE the CLAMP designs! The characters are way too exaggerated in height. |

| i wasn't impressed by this episode..i need to see the main plot (unless its senseless monster slayin..which would suck) to be really hooked I prefer this Saya over the one in Blood+ |
