Yep. I waited until Phantom Liberty came out and the game was much more ironed out. It was fantastic. It's become a comfort game for me to just play when I can't find something else to play.

Now I got it on PC so I got to check what fun mods there are. I do rock David's jacket a lot and, build depending, use Rebecca's shotgun.

i tried playing it when it came out on PS4 after years of anticipation and it was an unplayable dumpster fire so luckily they were giving out refunds
came back a few years later after watching the anime and having upgraded to a PS5 and it was a great game
i wouldnt say CDPR have redeemed themselves because the trust in them already is broken now but at least they made it a very enjoyable game over time

hell yeah great RPG for an immersive world and grim futuristic experience. it added quite a lot of nods towards the show after it was released, such as david’s jacket and rebecca’s shotgun, and the graves for the edgerunners at the cemetery with epitaphs written by lucy

They have stated they are done with major updates, but they did have a decent sized one a month ago I believe. But there shouldn't be anything big in the works since they are already working on the sequel.

Nope, I have never played the game, but I knew the game before the anime. If only I had the money I would definitely play it, it literally is at the top of my list of games I’d like to play.

nope. the peak of my interest was when the trailer with keanu reeves dropped but then everyone said the game was shit, so i lost interest even though i hear people say it's good now. add to the fact it's apparently first-person only, not a fan of those much tbh.

I played the game originally when it released on PS4 and I refused to ever play that game again I do not like getting lied to, and the fact that the game was basically unplayable for me soured my whole perception of CD project red, and I refuse to ever trust them with the game ever again The only reason why I watched the anime was because it’s done by trigger anyway was fantastic though and that’s only because trigger made it. I rememberCD project red wanted Rebecca removed from the show. And trigger said no the loli stays so yeah, the only reason why adrenergic is as good as it is is because of trigger and no I’m not looking forward to the Witcher 4 CD project red can shove that game straight up their ass

Both Me and My Bestfreimd have played 2077. he played the game before watching the anime. Then He recommended the anime to me, and I sought out the game about a year later when I got a Ps5. I put about 100 hours im my first playthrough, but it's really good, so I definitely do a second one at some point.

For those who dont know, theres actually quite a few edgerunners references in 2077. Like Davids Jacket, Rebeccas Shotgun (Guts, which is super fun to use, btw) and graves for everyone with anecdotes written by lucy. Among other things.

Either way, I definitely recommend the game for those who were big fans of edgerunners.

I played it last year

It's a great game, it also has an excellent story like the anime, even so I prefer David Martinez's story to V's story.

I have yet to play Phantom Liberty, but I highly recommend playing it now

Bugs are no longer a problem ;)

I knew about the game but heard it had a lot of bugs and didn't know they were fixed. I watched the anime. loved it, made me want to play the game, and after playing, it's definitely going in my top 15 games of all time.

I knew cyberpunk as a genre, then I played the game when it first came out (naturally I wasn’t satisfied with its buggy state), and then I decided to watch the anime when it came out. Studio Trigger? Sign me up! BTW I’m really looking forward to read the manga when it comes out ;)

I had always liked the lore of the old 2020, ttrpg books, so I was interested long before Edgerunners came out. I just held off due to the problematic release. Then I watched Edgerunners, and decided to buy it off that and the fact Phantom Liberty got very good reviews (also it was on sale). When it's patched, it is a very very good game. Phantom Liberty especially. I liked the game even more than the anime. Lucy ain't beating out Panam.

I just hope with Orion CD can deliver on release this time, cause at the end of the day, there are just a few things really holding it back from being one of the best WRPGs/ARPGs, ever. Their bad business decisions basically tainted one of the better RPGs we have gotten in recent memory.

I finished the game in the first month after release, but back then, it wasn’t in the best state bugs, bad optimization, and not much reason to keep playing after finishing the story. Then the anime came out, and I kept hearing how much it connected to the game, so I got curious. Didn’t know what to expect, but it ended up being insanely good. It actually made me want to do another playthrough, and by that time, the game was way more polished. Definitely worth playing now!
