Psyger-100 is definitely worth keeping an eye on, as leader of Schwarzer Wolf. This episode gathered several players of Shangri-La together in a meeting. I have to admit, for someone like Sunraku, he's actually well-spoken. Not as much action as the previous episodes but hey, we got an entertaining meeting with colorful cast together. |

Arthur reign as best girl might be over now that Schwarz here, lol. She’s pretty af and we know how I feel about red hair.. chill episode, still really enjoyable with the negotiations for info and we got a clan alliance out of it! Figured it was only a matter of time before we got more members of the clan! Was cracking up the whole time Arthur tried finessing the professor in exchange for the info book lol. She got a nice ransom out of em but damn that’s only 20 percent of her debt, what was she doing?? Whole time Sunraku over trying to keep Rabituza a secret and the girl just wanted to visit to pet the rabbits lmao. It’s always so relaxing watching Shangrifra, simple story but the characters are amazing. Nice bit of lore in this episode and learning we can remove Sunraku’s marks is a game changer I still can’t get over the professor having Kirei’s voice |

That is probably one the most important meetings in the history of the game! The first 5 minutes are really funny, but there are also some jokes in the meeting. Shangri-La Frontier still feels like a game and an overly serious tone would have detracted from that. Btw, I will be referencing Professor's explanation of the Colossi a lot. It's nice that I can find all that info in a single scene. I know that there are many people who are bored like Katzo, but I believe that this is a 10/10 episode (like most SLF eps). My biggest complaint is: Why is there no SLF Theater??? 🥺🥺🥺 |

Woah that's a lot of distinct personalities...uhm players in one room, heck the Library and the Zoo are very specific on their interests. An alliance huh? I don't know about the other top clans but this might shake the current whatever clan rankings if there ever is one in SLF. |
You see there's no need to wonder where your god is, Coz he's right here! ...and he's fresh out of mercy. |

We have a nice meeting of the guilds to disperse information they've all gathered. Mostly from Wolfgang and their fight with Wethermon and Sunraku encounter with Lycagon. Defeating the legendary monsters of this world sounds like no small task. It would take a massive effort with each one. But doing so would undoubtedly unlock secrets of this world which the players definitely wanna do. Journeying deeper into the game's lore and mystery. Sunraku getting grilled on what he can tell them about Lycagon and the way she attacks. With only one fight it's pinpoint attack patterns and mannerisms but Sunraku still has valuable information he can share. I'm glad he didn't have to tell the Zoo clan the secrets of the rabbit kingdom so they're not bombarded by fanatics like Animalia. I like the idea for an alliance like Pencilgon suggested. Her extortion the professor for the book on Wethermon was funny too. Maybe some more legendary colosseus will be defeated soon |

Last season scene on the game company HQ stated that Wethermon was expected to be one of the last colossi to be defeated, and his kit matched that. Why does this chapter make it sound like all the remaining are way more tougher than him? A kraken that you might fight in a boat risking losing it, a fucking dragon, a wolf that can """"teleport"""" and what amounts as some kind of either god or at least force of nature. Is this a mistake of interpretation or did the author ramped up the rest of the monsters to fill the classic powercreep problem in shonen? Also Vash might be a human from the same time as Setsuna and Wethermon. |

While not much happened in terms of battles this episode, this was quite the important meeting taking into account the factions right now in SLF. Psyger-0 is back with her sis Psyger-100 who seems to know not only Pencilgon but the Professor's wife. After a brief rundown on the unique monsters and what's now up to this point about them, Pencilgon sold quite expensively some lore to the Professor, Animalia creepily made Emul faint who got out of there as soon as she could, Katzo who wanted to do the same just entertained himself pestering Sunraku with his analysis and all the while Rei kept getting flustered by him. Next episode we'll probably get more about the alliance that will probably pursue Lycargon and maybe advance the main story further. Maybe we'll even get another mini theatre. |

@CorbanEsp feels like you have a pretty skewed view of what kind of boss Wethermon was. That shit was near invincible, and three of the greatest players in the entire game (out of 30mill or something) barely managed to beat him, having gone all out in terms of items, skills, grinding and everything. Sounds more to me like you don't see Wethermon as mysterious anymore just because you've been presented with all details about him. Nobody had even managed to damage Wethermon before the fight with Sunraku and the squad. imo he felt way way waaaaaaay more powerful than Lycagon just based on what we've seen on-screen, but I'm sure that will balance out when we eventually take it on for real. there's also the fact that the majority, if not all of the other bosses are huge monsters instead of human(oid)s, which makes them feel more imposing just from their designs and concepts. Does not feel like powercreep at all to be honest. I've always gotten the impression that the unique bosses are all insurmountable in their own way, so comparing them feels almost meaningless. |

@Herman97 Pencilgon reached phase 3 with her clan, which means that it was pretty doable, only problem is that basically only Sunraku has been given advantages in this game. Sometimes feels too cheap in this regard and i have stated in last season that i consider Rabutza and all that it entails the worst part of Shangrila since it streamlines Sunraku's progress, let's him skip every piece of content, gives him equipment and battles for min-maxing not available for anyone else and is given the key to success against bosses, like the pendant that casually unlocks the Clear Sky Conquest phase. That pendant should be given by some other quest from Setsuna, not randomly by Emul. I'm not saying that Wethermon seems weak, the fight was amazing. I'm just saying that if he is one of the top 3, then how is it that there's a giant dragon (no way a dragon is not a top 3), one that manipulates the entire environment of the game, another one that unless there's other races outside humans, makes the whole arena a death trap, not even mentioning that there are two that are suppossed to be unknown, which means that the others mentioned were below Wethermon in story progress. That's the point, Whethermon was at the top, yet, due shounen requirements, they now are hyping what should be weaker bosses as this even bigger threat. But is a common thing, the battle with Lycagon in S1 made him look less "Raid boss" than bosses from other chapter, due to him basically doing basic DPS checks (now they added in this convo the corrosion status to them) but Lycagon actually only had the "invisible without moonlight" status as a game changer when introduced. And about the size, Whethermon was bigger than them and it was suppossed to go on top of Kirin starting phase 2, so in terms of size he should be at least the same as Lycagon. |

@CorbanEsp Yes, Shonen anime are known for logic-breaking power creep in order to keep stakes high. However, you know what else is known for logic-breaking power creep? RPGs, especially MMORPGs, which Shangri-la is. Not only would the game dev's buffing the remaining bosses be completely reasonable, given the game's impressive AI it's quite likely that the game simply auto-levels, which is quite normal even today. Being last could simply be linked to the order in which the story was expected to lead player to certain encounters. Or it could just be anime. |

@CorbanEsp you got a lot of good points, I wrote my comment solely off of my memory from season 1. while I still don't feel like there are any issues regarding this for me personally, I understand that it can be annoying if you start to think logically about structure and stuff. I honestly don't expect that kind of logic from the show, I just watch it on feel, so for me they've nailed that aspect as long as you don't think too hard about it. I also liked what @amf85 said about it mimicking MMORPGs, although I don't think it's intentionally written that way. Either way it's a fun headcanon that could make it a bit more enjoyable if you're open to that. In the end I think it's a fun show that's surprisingly detailed, but falls apart if you start looking to closely. I just try to enjoy it for what it is, which is rare for me as I'm the type of person that more often than not get my immersion broken by the exact type of stuff you're talking about. Hope this doesn't bug you too much, as it's a super solid and enjoyable show |

Finally someone stronger than Psyger-0: Psyger-100, leader of the Schwarz clan. If all team members unite their forces and form a clan alliance (as Pencilgon wanted), they would be able to defeat Lycagon the Nightslayer. This time won’t be a waste. |

Poor Emul, sacrificed for the cause—Sunraku ditched her just to avoid dealing with the furries 🤣. Even though the whole episode was just set in the tavern with clans chatting, it was surprisingly entertaining and funny. Pencilgon is the best; she managed to wring a ton of money out of Professor for a book she didn’t even care about anymore! It was smart of Sunraku to keep the secret of how he unlocked his special scenario with the SF-Zoo leader. Otherwise, all the bunnies in Rabituza might end up like Emul! An alliance is brewing, and if it goes through, there might not be many clans out there who can challenge them. This just got really interesting! |

just reminds me of past experiences gaming. I never could stand pushy annoying players in MMO's hounding you for info spamming you questions till you block them. "How'd you do this? where did you get that? whats your custom build?" just obnoxious. I'd of blocked or PK'd that Zoo group so fast. The Psyger's arent so bad tho and neither is the library dude but imo that zoo group is just annoying. It's like asking for custom build info, once everyone knows ~ is OP everyone starts copying you and the game becomes a boring slog of clone builds, OR the worst scenario, the devs change things ruining that build because its overused. Especially if you figure out a games math and maximize total possible dps etc. I suppose in a way this really adds to the realism of the MMO game setting, there's almost always groups and interactions like this. frustrating episode but definitely fitting/adds to the narrative, I'm interested in seeing what psyger-100 brings to the table, and what we can learn from the old library dude. |

@Herman97 Nah, I enjoy it for what it is, a solid show about a videogame. Is just that it wouldn't hurt once in a while not tying everything to Rabutza as easy mode and watching Sunraku actually engaging with the godly game that Shangrila is. |

@CorbanEsp It wasn't only Sunraku though Katsu and Pencilgon "skipped" content too, technically they're worse offenders as they didn't even find the Vorpal epic unique scenaro. Wethermon the Tombguard and rather all the Colossai have an order of operations, the devs created them to be defeated in a certain order and Wethermon was meant to be one of the middle to later ones as they've only confirmed who the 1st Colossai fought was meant to be. Haha, the comparisons with Reincarnated as a Slime are on point with the meeting but I doubt there will be more episodes in a meeting environment (at least I hope not entire episodes). Sunraku casually tossing Emul to the wolves was hilarious and it shows that he'll sell out like how his compatriots did. Also, learning that there may be a way for Lycagon's curse to be removed sounds pretty exciting. |

Clan Meeting giving me so much Log Horizon feels! The Colossal reveals gave me chills, im so excited to see those bosses.. tho I wonder if Sunraku and the gang will be always involved in those fights? Lycagon for sure but don't know about the rest... The Golden Dragon seeking for a Hero to challenge it sounds like a plotpoint for Pencilgon too. And I wonder what the Alliance's purpose gonna be, will it be a Colossal Raid Group (that would be cool), or Pencilgon is just looking for allies to work together for the Bahamuth(?) questline. And what of Vash/Rabituza's role in all of these? This game's lore is really interesting. |

Don't wanna compare or anything, but that meeting only felt like 5 minutes. It's so cool to finally see all the well known clan's we know of meeting up like this. No SLF Mini though. Huh, I always though Vysache was the head of Rabituza, but they have a king, though it's just one of Vysache's children still lmao. Vysache might not be king, but he is still Big Daddy. RIP Emul, but Animalia petting her for pretty much the whole episode was funny and adorable. The licking at the start was very sus though. Makes sense that Lycagon's mark could be removed, though I assume it will happen only once they have actually beat Lycagon, you know, for the challenge. Pencilgon the goated extortionist as always, but I'm sure Professor can extract some valuable information from that tome. Fucking cliffhanger, fuck. |

@SleepingNinja15 I was expecting Lycagon Guess it relates with the current expansion and sailing mechanics that Sunraku will never play. What content did they escape? Katzo I guess you mean the level grind he made with Sunarku, and Pencilgon the exploit the PK guild used with Wethermon? If so, I don't consider optimizing leveling up as skipping content, they had to go through the motions and quests required in paralell. I'm starting to rant and the show shouldn't be taken this seriously but.. The problem is that Sunraku has never engaged with any real mechanic or portion of the game in a player sense. He skipped the first tutorial, encountered Lycagon after his first hours grinding materials, and after meeting Emul he has never truly explored or tried to unlock the map (why should he when he got the maps already explored available in Rabutza). He doesn't know half the mechanics that should come at play, and when confronted by one of those, he has a stronger option for each of them inside Rabtuza. FFS, his dependence of Rabutza is so glaring that when Vash "dissappeared" the thought of "I should start searching for an Ancient Craftsmen quest or info about the whereabouts of one" never crossed his mind, he went straight to "what other rabbit in here can give me the same advantages as Vash" and when none was there, somehow he has the """rights""" to upgrade an NPC to that, again skipping anything actually related to Shangrila. Sunraku is playing The Kingdom of Rabutza, not Shnagri-La Frontier. |

@SleepingNinja15 I was expecting
Lycagon as the first, given that first raid boss should be a simple DPS check with not that many mechanics for players to get a feel of how things work.

Lycagon
Guess it relates with the current expansion and sailing mechanics that Sunraku will never play.

@CorbanEsp I can't say much because I don't want to give anything away.. Your making a lot of assumptions about the colossai that are not on the mark. I can't say more than that because I know a bit more about Lycagon and a few other colossai due to manga knowledge and don't wanna give it away. All I'll say about the Vorpal epic rant is nothing has taken place in Rabutza so far this season so stop worrying so much about it, it's not an important focal point your making it out to be at the moment. |

man he did Emul dirty. and his friends totally sold him out, I'd be pissed ngl but if he doesn't have to sneak around all the time that'll be a relief. not sure if the tradeoffs for removing the mark are worth it, but we'll see how that goes. I guess he'll have to hang with Psyger-0 more at least 😅 (depending on who you're rooting for, that could be good or bad) |

Bring in more lore is good, and actually getting the "big players" around the table for the first time is a good step forward |

Talking about all the colossi. If i remember correctly ctarnidd was supposed to be the first boss to beaten according to the devs. But then reading the latest chapter in manga. There is no way that thing is the first boss😅😅😅 |

It seems the Lycagon fight would be even harder and more intense if they’ll ally with 3 more guilds. Cant wait for it |

I wonder if anyone else can trigger that unique scenario with Emul simultaneously with Sunraku, I mean this is an mmo right |

Poor Emul... she got "huggled" . I wonder if anyone else can trigger that unique scenario with Emul simultaneously with Sunraku, I mean this is an mmo right Well, judging by how they're called "unique scenarios" I take it that only "one person" can do the Quest at anytime. Such as Pencil got the tomeboss scenario, and no one else got it at same time even tho she mentioned people did the tombboss before and it was easy to get the quest. |

Damn that really was treason. Also are we sure we even want to remove the curse marks? It's kind of part of the drip tbh. Classic Dark Souls style. Anyway not much else to add, a good episode but mostly just talking and yapping apart from the comedic relief. |
