| Very dangerous training they're going through. Probably shouldn't even call it training as it's more about survival. I guess they were trying to showcase more of Will's talents and the other guys. Not sure how I feel about Wignall Lindor in this show but he has somewhat of arrogant and self loathing personality. Will saved his ass. |

Speaking of which, I mean, at least unlike the others that are just blatantly hating on Will, he actually triers to use a justified reason with him being "clean" and all. Whatever though, because in the end Will ends up touching him anyways in order to save him from that fall and all. Though ofc it's that annoying troupe of the person being an absolute bitch and not knowing he first thing about manners, so he's just lashes out on Will... smh. What an ambush though. Not only did they kill all the monsters or whatever, but they also killed the professors??? Wtf. At least now this dude stopped being cocky and finally admitted to being a failure... it's a start. |

| Another banger episode, Lihana the woman you are.. Another week, another example of Will saving some ingrate who looked down on him for not being able to use magic. Wignall didn’t even want Will to touch him and then he gets saved by him at the end of the episode 😂 . For a “laggard” Will sure knows his way around the dungeon and how to beat monsters. They give us this sad backstory with Wignall getting cast out by his village and labelled a failure, but then he should know exactly how painful it feels to be ostracised and should embrace Will not be a lil bitch. Sion, Julius and now this dude, can people stop taking their trauma out on Will lmao. And all that stuff at the beginning of the episode about Will being a bad shield and useless cause he can’t use search was really killing me because how is he “useless” when he beat everyone in that group’s ass besides Lihanna and Wignall, and Wignall only avoided it because he used some bs loophole to win the tournament lmao. Ruined what was a really cool moment of Lihanna showing her abilities Wouldn’t be a shonen manga if we didn’t have an exam arc that goes horribly wrong. Idk why the headless mages are sabotaging the praxis, but if even professors have died at this point it’s clear they’re probably the strongest enemies we’ve seen in the show yet. Can’t wait for next week. Also wanting some more clarification on the whole barrier weakening thing.. what’ll happen if it completely collapses? |

| This psycopatic reaction to Will's fighting skills by his teammates is getting old. First half of episode was a snooze fest again. The pacing of this anime is definitely off. Hopefully next episode is better. |

| Ok Wignall, you aint slick saying the only person you deem worthy of touching you is Lihanna. I am familiar with your game lol. After last episode I thought Wignall was a bit more reasonable when it came to Will, but he still seems to look down on him like everyone else. Granted, it doesn't seem as in your face like Julius, but more in the form of slick backhanded comments. Not wanting Will to even touch him is something that I suppose I can let slide since I guess that's just how Elves are. But, with the revelation that Wignall is also a laggard in his own right (this series sure loves its characters who are looked down upon and seen as lesser lol), you'd expect him to be able to relate to Will and thus be a little more empathetic. I won't hold my breath but maybe he'll come around by the end of the arc. Welp, the Praxis is in total disarray now. You've got Will's group being separated in a more dangerous part of the dungeon, base camps being overrun by monsters, and those 2 villains running around beheading professors. Here's hoping that we learn a little more about those two in the next episode. |

| Students taking practical exams gets attacked by enemies, Boku no Hero Academia has done it, so does Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju #8, and I think so does Naruto. Anyway, it's one of them Magia Vander that's behind this I just know it. |

| The all-student Praxis event begins, and this gets more into DanMachi territory that Fujino Omori would allow Wistoria to be, while Lihanna's powers are just simply unrivaled: a close-combat mage that's known of the Owenhaus legacy. Still, within the big dungeon, Will's skills lag against everyone else not having Search, the ability to sense monsters that all mages have, and he is simply relegated to be the scrap of the group. Despite the difference of elves and mages being from different worlds, Wignall is one such distinctive character to look out for. With that said, the Luminous Naberus is easily the top dish to defeat at 110 credits, and there's only one for grabs, all while the enemy does their work from within, still at large. This is more apparent going deep into the dungeon with monster corpses scattered all around, and the floor keeper itself being already defeated, the group is taken aback. Search is useful, but not all encompassing, as Will comes to find that their enemy is much more fearsome than Naberus itself, bringing all of them into Tower territory down from Floor 11 onwards. For floors that even Lihanna would fear the worst, Wignall has his share of a discriminated past, even if like Sion, his pride as an elf still stands for ego. He is unfortunately stuck with Will, as much as the academy professors are accumulating on what's going on to declare the praxis cancelled, and they have to work together within their own different strengths to strategize getting out of Floor 11 with as minimal damage as possible. And once again, Will's swordmanship proves his no-talent reputation false thorugh knowledge which gives him the motivation to route through the dungeon with ease. At least with Wignall, he's able to drop his facade to admit that he's a fallure just like Will... |

| I mean it took just ten mins for that elf guy to start making sense and talk grounded stuff. Hard times really change people I guess, I mean being all proud and mighty about his race to kind of sharing heart-to-heart with Will towards the end.. I think he'll be deemed worthy to touch him from here on lol. It's the work of those two guys, and I'm sure if not the next episode, we'd see our group stumbling upon the duo in due time. |

| Oomori just keeps on regurgitating Danmachi stories and situations with some tweaks here and there and putting them in the Wistoria setting. I think it's a bit weird that he wrote a story that was so, so close to his other work |

| Once I figured out this was the author of DanMachi, it made much more sense why these dungeon sequences feel so natural. That’s where Fujimo Omori is at their best. Wignall proclaiming himself as a laggard to the person everyone has called a laggard throughout the show has a touch of irony to it, and I can assume we’ll get his background at the beginning of next episode. I’m also interested to see how each character handles the challenges of the dungeon. I can’t imagine Sion and Julius will play nice with each other at first. |

| LAGGARD BUDDIES!!!! Damn, one of those sick fucks talks by writing in the air. Ain't no way Elfie gonna sleep on this... right? So they aren't necessarily screwed, they are only screwed because not high-level mages yet, only top of their classes prior to upper-institute. I might be misreading/remembering, but flood 1-5 is normal academy, flood 6-10 is all student praxis, flood 11+ is tower only. Also at start of show, sounds like the sky is breaking or something too this is not looking good for this society. 4/5, people being harsh to Will for no reason when they know what he's capable of and he's literally helping by carrying stuff too. Serial killers also made me :c. Lihanna also being a melee combatant is interesting. Wignall being the bottom of the barrel for elves at 75 years old (15 years old as mages go) is honestly surprising as only the queen is a magnia vander or whatever, so must be really high bottom that he couldn't achieve, but standard ceiling. |

| I had a feeling those 2 unknowns would cause big problems at some. Lihanna was right, Will came good when it mattered most. We will most likely learn more about Wignall next time. |

| Yooo this is SO SICK, I can feel the DanMachi epicness all over this!!! I like that Wignall is also a laggard, that was a cool twist. And Lihanna is really cool and sexy, I hope she becomes friends with Will, she is by far the friendliest one in the top students group. Wignall could also become his friend since they are so similar, but looking at the fact Willd defeated both Sion and Julius, yet they still shit on him, I doubt it. All this episode lacked was more Colette :c |

It's been the main problem with the anime since about the third episode -- the same trope over and over again --- Will's teammates hate him, he proves them wrong by being incredibly overpowered.
It's horrible writing, and makes the whole damn anime predictable and, so, dull.
And yep, the last half of this episode was pretty good, but that's been the case for so many episodes now. But the first half makes the episode drag so much, I'm playing the whole darn thing on 1.5 speed just to get it over with.

Get's a bit tiring. And the whole dungeon thing seems to have been done to death by the same LN author in his other works. |
