Man, I really hope Tinasha knows what she's doing because sometimes, it seems she just wanders off and does business on her own without notifying anyone.

The struggle to conquer land seems to be a recurring theme in this anime now. Tinasha really isn't afraid of taking any risk and Oscars knows it.

Shout out to the hero in the crunchyroll comments section who explained all missing pieces of information that the anime decided to skip apparantly!
This and last week's episode felt so rushed, I had no idea what was going on.

We still have 5 episodes left, let's see what we'll get!

I have the first six volumes of the LN for this (not any of the sequel ones). Never opened them. Somehow the directing in this episode and how the previous episodes were made, made me feel like this was supposed to be the last episode.
Maybe its time to start reading the LN.

Well, they speed up everything do they? Seems they skipped a whole book, the villain last just 3 episodes but i have a satisfied feeling after he got sliced by Oscar. Wondering what's will happen with only 5 episodes left.

Well that went about as I expected. We all knew Tinasha’s “betrayal” last week was a ploy to get revenge on dude for betraying her back in the day, was always just a matter of how she’d go about doing it.

Still think Lanak got off easy all things considered. Causing the deaths of everyone in the kingdom, trying to kill Aeti etc… needed to be a worse fate for him. Did enjoyed seeing his plan blow up in his face quite literally and Tinasha make him look dumb, though.

Animation during the fight definitely wasn’t as good as what we got in the first couple of episodes. I’ve noticed it going from really good to standard anime seasonal lately.

Tinasha making sure the current prince understood the pain his kingdom had inflicted on others over the years was also cool, you could tell it resonated with him and motivated him to be better.

Oscar and Tinasha are officially engaged! And she doesn’t seem like she minds it too much, cute ending scene.

Pacing still feels rushed.. but it was a solid episode. I’ve just resigned myself to the fact that I’ll have to read the LN to fully appreciate the story and enjoying these eps for what they are.

Given how dreadful the adaptation has been, this might actually be the worst anime of the season with expectations at least. The way the previous episode was built up, this episode felt like a finale but Tinasha's 'betrayal' literally ended in an episode in as anticlimactic of a fashion as it could be with the ending feeling as 'normal' with Oscar and Tinasha cuddling around like nothing's happened. The whole ploy in this version feels very pointless and added nothing whatsoever of positive note to the story here given how the anime refuses to let anything sink in and have meaning to make these dramatic twists and developments work. It's not like this portion of the story was ever that good to me but the execution in the anime is... something else. One of my friends that I know is following the anime dropped it today since he has no earthly idea what is happening anymore, and the last couple weeks haven't helped him adjust whatsoever.

With a handful of episodes left for this, I’m curious what’s in store for us. The beginning of the episode makes you wonder what happened since it definitely feels like some important events were glossed over. That should’ve been covered in an episode or two prior to this episode. The ending was nice though.

Until ep4 I was kinda enjoying this one, 5 weirded me a bit with a few scenes and 6 completely threw me off and ruined the whole anime for me, I was completely unengaged and unimmersed by the whole anime after that kiss, when I started watching today's ep I was ready to drop the anime, I dont even care anymore about what is going on because the development of those characters which was my main draw to this story got ruined by the excessive rushing but I can say that this episode was at least decent, I may watch another ep next week to decide if I should fully drop or just watch it when Im doing cardio like something to play in the background without much care to distract me, in just 7 eps I feel like they solved the biggest plot point in the series being oscar's curse and now even what looks like the main antagonist got defeated as well, and what a lame antagonist, he got defeated with absolutely no effort from the mcs and was pathetic and cliched, all of that happened in just around 2 hours of runtime, ENGI is such a shitty studio, I didnt even read the LN its being adapted from to defend it from this obviously nutjob of an adaptation but it feels like the studio responsible for it doesn't want to do it, its kinda like theyre being forced to adapt this while being held at a gunpoint or something, theres no care put into this at all.

@animejas Ive been watching other 9 animes weekly this season as well and this is definitely the worst, while most of them had some shitty eps last week or fell a little bit none of them even come close to the absolutely mess that was episode 6, this should be a study case, especially when tons of comments were very similar about people asking if they skipped an episode or something.

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

As some of us suspected Tinasha had a plan to get back at Lanak which makes me wonder why he thought she would go along with his plan in the first place, guess he thought she was mentally weak or something.

This did feel like a finale but now that they're engaged I wonder how the remaining episodes will play out. I'm thinking it may involve a wedding and maybe even an heir.

It is so good that finally Oscar engaged to Tinasha! They deserve to be happy together.

We get to see Lanak being killed by Oscar in order to stop wars and force brought in Cuscull. There are a lot of things that need to be fixed in Cuscull, like defeating the chief mage of Cuscull, Bardalos.

Oscar managed to set Tinasha free from Lanak. He would have used her for his own interests and Prince Reust needs to be the king.

Tinasha be rushing into a lot on her own hopefully she decides to consult atleast someone before doing such stuff.
These episodes feel very rushed despite not having read the manga. The episode overall felt like the one which you’d usually see the story end with. Still 5 more episodes to go let’s see what they have in store, hopefully it doesn’t go down hill. This could have had so much better if they took the story slow and managed to put this scene as the 11th or 12 episode. As you can’t really see the development of Oscar and Tinasha. Anyhow I’m enjoying the series a lot still.

@Stark700 Tinasha does what she wants when she wants the way she wants no matter the consequences. Somehow, the witch does it right. Oscar is the same. The prince and Tinasha form a perfect couple. Oscar scored masterfully by making Tinasha his fiancée.

Ah the anime after skipping some content, finally was able to justify Oscar and Tinasha's romantic relationship. This should've been the final episode 😆
Anyway, with Tinasha's voice actress being Tanezaki Atsumi (same VA of Frieren), I always can imagine that this is how Frieren and Himmel could've ended up in another world/possibility

Seems like there's a lot of content getting skipped over or compacted, though I'm not a manga reader. Just feels rushed to fit in certain plot points into the allotted 12 episodes. Still, it's been enjoyable and I look forward to see what Tinasha and Oscar get up to in the second half of the show now that the "climax" has passed

This should've been the last episode if we were having a normal pace, but since they're literally skimming the story, this is what we get. 😭😭😭
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Man after watchin' the previous ep I thought "well damnit ain't no way imma let the next ep be released before I catch up with ln"...well mission failed bruh this sucks. I've never seen any adaptation before being this much rushed damn

Coming to the main topic...dayummnn Tinasha's armpits. Aah I couldn't get my eyes off even for a second...well what did ya expect, reality ain't that accommodating as I was forced to look at the goddamn subtitles. Tho I rewinded those moments just to look at her armpits(ye, no compromise).

Cuscull wanting to build a new world, and Lanak wanting Tinasha's help to help him build land that could encapsulate over the Four Great Nations, it seems more of a proposition, more than anything. Oscar and the Four Great Nations together at Tayiri, only to be escorted by a Cuscull mage to see Lanak, Tinasha truly is put on the spot, but nothing that cannot be done in the pursuit of power.

So then, it's the Four Great Nations against Cuscull where the latter has managed to defy all odds with their betrayal and intentions, and Tinasha having to summon Tuldarr's forces at the beckon of her power to stop Lanak and his heinous plan.

Also, Oscar and Tinasha's relationship is supposed to feel natural, but the sequence of events forced them together faster than it should be.

Well, now I feel myself losing in what this show is supposed to be, and its rushed pacing doesn't help things that this episode IS supposed to feel like a season finale, but the producers wedged this in the middle of nowhere.

Now I understand why Tinasha went with Lanak to Cuscull. It was necessary to save the souls of the people of the mage empire from four hundred years ago that I can't remember right after watching the episode. But why would Lanak think Tinasha would not betray him after what he did? I expected Tinasha to kill him, but Oscar did instead. I don't know where the anime is going to go for the last four episodes. Answering why the king's bloodline was cursed is the only thing that comes to mind.

Thank goodness that dirtbag has been slice and diced.
She is extremely passive while also being capable to be very active and aggresive. Prior to stomach stabbing she was passive, while in tower she was passive, her "romance" with Oscar is passive, her "asking for help" is passive, et cetera.
Now, all Oscar wants, is for her to agree to the marriage in 6 months when the contract is up. I'll approve this 370 year or whatever age gap, if Oscar doesn't pull any of that messed up shit again like threatening rape.

As expected, she was playing along the whole time. Predictable cliche from a mile away. But what irks me is...Why on earth, did Lanark think she would just forget that he stabbed her all those years ago? Repeatedly at that.

I also just noticed this, but the short-haired swordswoman who was mind-controlled looks a lot like Kujisaki Nobara.
