| I wish Yamauchi was more intuitive when this series is all about competition and mind games. Also, it looks like Ichinose is in the spotlight again. It's interesting that Horikita can pick up on things so easily this season this season. She's almost like the anti-Ichinose. |

| The animation and character designs are looking great this season, but I don't know about Horikita's design. It seems Karuizawa and Hirata have broken up—amidst the buzzing discussion in Class C, Yamauchi receives a summons from Sakayanagi in Class A. Yamauchi, elated, pays no heed to Horikita's warning of it being a "trap." On the other hand, Ayanokoji hears peculiar rumors circulating around Ichinose's vicinity from Horikita. It's kinda nice having more of Ichinose around, I guess. Nagumo is seriously getting on my nerves, just from the vibe he gives off. I think it's about time Karuizawa and Hirata called it quits. Can't quite recall, but I'm pretty sure their relationship was just for show. Still think Ayanokoji and Karuizawa make a better match, in my opinion. Props to Ayanokoji for handling the China situation with Hiyori so quickly. Poor Ichinose, though. Sakayanagi is being a real pain, smh. Also, if someone is wrongly labeling you a criminal, telling a teacher sounds like the best move. And of course, Kushida being in contact with Nagumo doesn't surprise me at all. |

| For whatever reason unknown to us, this adaptation never fails in adapting those sequences where Ayanokouji is seen interacting with all the colourful girls this series has to offer, be it that Chinese girl who simps for Hirata or someone who isn't even from the same class, like Hiyori. Though leaving what cannot be changed aside, this being volume 9, and at least they didn't rush with the introduction lol. Rumours about Ichinose, and they're as nasty as someone could think, at least when it is about someone like Ichinose, a girl who looks and seems as pure as someone could, to the eyes of these students, at least. Still she being a shoplifter in the past, that’s the kind of backstory we could expect out of this series lol. Anyways, for some reason Sakanayagi knowing about Ichinose's past is as hilarious as the story of that class A girl who came to Ayanokouji, under the instructions of Sakanayagi (I mean it's obvious lol), and used to steal bears... just for thrill... what? Can say they'd wrap this volume up in the next episode too. Can't be surprised at this point, though at least they didn't cut anything major this time lol. |

Perhaps someone can already tell who it is The camera angles in Masumi and Ayano's conversation were interesting Enjoyed this episode more than the previous ones. | Looks like Class A's making their long awaited move. Considering their status within the class their breakup's bound to be big news. Gutsy certainly is the right word to describe Arisu visiting class C by herself. Nice to see more of the class open up to AK. Though technicially opponents AK and Suzune wanting to see the truth of Ichinose's rumours was nice to see. Still instead of retaliating Ichinose choosing to stay silent really showed how mentally resilient she was. The letters though were a marked escalation. Curious whether Masumi's plea is another lure though. The icing on the cake of trouble is gonna be Kushida making her comeback as well. |

| They're continuing the fast pace for the adaptation. Really trimming things. A shame since this novel is one of the good ones. I have to say that in an anime full of cute girls, the animators really pay attention to make Horikita look perfect every time. |

@Farabeuf many people might not know this, since a lot of people complain when anime don't follow the source material pacing - anime can't be as slow as a novel

| Wow a well adapted Lerche you zitsu episode for once? People said they butchered volume 8 for these volumes to be good so we’ll see. Yamauchi really think he pulled Arisu.. everything that glitters ain’t gold my boy. Kiyo is like the last person to ask for advice on romantic matters though Man they talking about shoplifting like she killed someone. Shut that shit up ๐ Those companies will be ok I promise you. Yea yea, Japan, honour and all that. Still. The shoplifter who barges into Kiyo’s room was clearly the focus of the animators this week. Ass and thigh shots for days lol. Love how he offers tea and juice and she just goes a third direction. Everyone going to Kiyopon for advice in this episode was great. Suzune, Honami, his group etc. he’s become a pillar of support for people. Honami going back to talk to Kiyo after the meeting with Suzune was really cute too! You can tell she’s really bothered by everything and just trying to put up a brave face Now that Kushida has made contact with Nagumo shit is really gonna start. |

| I feel like a normie watching GoT with the sheer amount of characters in this show, I literally have to pull up MALs character page whenever someone gets mentioned. Seems like things will get interesting with so much going on right now. The class A girl has some nice queen energy. Forces her way into his room, demands he make her a drink, choses something not offered. Lmao. Who the fuck would shoplift after enrolling in this kind of school. With this show you never know what is a trap and whats actual someone betraying their leader. I feel like our MC basically admitting to knowing he is a potential target is already huge to give away |
